An order was placed in late July 2026…

An order was placed in late July 2026 with an estimated deliver between August 4 – August 12. During that time period it was advised via email their inventory system lists the Dometic PCB, but that does not prove this order is physically allocated.

I had a very frustrating experience with Elkhart RV Parts, totaling $372.99. I requested cancellation before the order shipped on September 1, 2026 and was later told in writing that the order was still paid but unfulfilled, with no tracking information or verified physical allocation. Their representative stated that my request for an immediate cancellation and full refund had been documented and sent for urgent review.

Despite that communication, the order was shipped afterward. I was then told that my cancellation request was outside a one-hour window, that no refund would be issued, and that I would need to pursue a return after delivery.

The issue was not simply the cancellation policy - it was the conflicting information and the lack of a clear, customer-focused resolution after I had been told my cancellation and refund were under review. Also keep in mind, an order was placed with them knowing the product wasn’t available and that appears to be the case with most of their products.

I am still seeking a full refund. Based on my experience, I would encourage other customers to confirm product availability, cancellation terms, and refund status in writing before placing an order. Keep in mind that will be difficult due to Elkhart RV Parts utilizing AI, doesn’t have anyone to talk to, and will display products online that’s not available.

ABSOLUTE SCAM OPERATION

ABSOLUTE SCAM OPERATION — DO NOT BUY FROM ELKHART RV PARTS
If I could give zero stars, I would. Elkhart RV Parts operates on deceptive practices, fake inventory listings, and zero customer support. Look at their online reviews and BBB profile—dozens of customers have suffered the exact same scheme: they take your money immediately, claim items are "in stock," and then completely abandon you.
Here is what happened with my order:
1. Fake Stock & Immediate Charges: I ordered a high-dollar air conditioner that their website claimed had double-digit units in stock. My credit card was posted immediately, and within an hour, they fraudulently marked the order as "Shipped" in their system.
No Tracking & Constant Delays: Over the next 10 days, they failed to provide a single carrier tracking number. Delivery dates kept getting pushed back. When they finally replied to an email after days of silence, they admitted they didn't even have a tracking number and blamed the manufacturer.
2. Ghosting & Refusal to Refund:
I sent multiple emails and made nearly a dozen phone calls. They ignored four straight calls until I left an angry voicemail, after which a rep promised a supervisor would call me back. That call NEVER happened. They refused to process a refund and refused to cancel the order.
3. Fake "Resolved" Tickets:
After days of ghosting me, refusing to answer calls or reply to written cancellation notices, they had the nerve to send an automated email marking my issue as "RESOLVED." Nothing was resolved—I had no tracking number and no product.
I was forced to file a formal credit card chargeback with my bank for non-delivery and report them to the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, and the Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Division.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY. They run a drop-ship shell game, take your money upfront, lie about shipping status, and completely cut off communication when things go wrong. Buy from literally anywhere else.
CALL TO OTHER AFFECTED CUSTOMERS:
If you have been ripped off by this company, do not just leave a bad review—take formal action. I strongly urge everyone who has been wronged by Elkhart RV Parts to file official fraud and deceptive trade reports with the FTC (ReportFraud.ftc.gov), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. This pattern of deceptive business practices needs to be investigated and stopped.
