Very smooth
After figuring out the initial cartridge installation, the pen writes beautifully, better than my other fountain pens. It needs no scribble to get it started. Smooth and consistent it has never skipped for me.

Beautiful pens at affordable prices
The pen and journal were bought as a gift for my husband. He already has one of these pens and really likes the feel and way it writes. The small journal is ideal for carrying with him to make notes. Just for the record I am going to order the new vintage rose for myself

Update - following the review, the customer service team have reached out and arranged a replacement pen and the old one has been left with us, which is appreciated. Stars amended.
Bought a pen for my other half for Xmas. She liked the pen but not the colour.
All I wanted to do was exchange it. But completely no response from Ellington Pens despite two emails both to CS and Ethan@ addresses.
Bought her a new Parker instead. Useless company, pen’s probably quite nice but we didn’t check - left essentially unopened for the return. Packaging decidedly not-premium.
Avoid the scam.

I can’t use the pen.
I can’t use the pen. Whoever packaged it (China I read) forgot to put the spring in. The pen insert simply falls out of the pen. I contacted you and got no response. Very unhappy. Very expensive mistake.

Horrible customer service. They give you 30 days to return an item but just stop responding when you mention a refund. Don’t buy from this place l, pens are overpriced for what they are. I would have given zero stars if I could.

I ordered a fountain pen which rrp was £78.95 (I managed to get discount which took it down to £50ish).
The quality of this pen in terrible - it looks like something you can pick up from the local market.
Packaging was disappointing - scruffy wooden box and the pen was in some tacky plastic wrapping.
Packaging was also damaged on delivery.
I’ve emailed 3 times with no response.

You responded to the 4th and then ceased to respond to my replies further requesting a refund (so you absolutely do have information on my order). This company lie in responses to negative reviews and refuse to respond to requests for a refund. I can only conclude it is a scam. Spend your money elsewhere.

Ink flow issues resolved by Ellington
After writing a very poor review because of ink flow issues I have decided to review it.
I contacted Ellington pens and they sent me a replacement nib and ink chamber which works perfectly. So they do respond and dealt with the issue really well. My advice through experience is use refill bottle ink and not cartridges to get a better ink flow to nib.

Warning! Do NOT order from this company! It’s a scam. Ordered pens and requested a return 4 times. Never got a response. I had to dispute via my credit card. Horrible customer service and pens are not great quality. Beware!
Follow up on their response: they did not send a replacement, and did not respond to any of emails requesting a return. Hence my feedback. Can’t believe they are untruthful re: my review and situation. I asked for 4 times to return my order. Again, this company is lies and is not to be trusted.

Absolute perfection in a beautiful package!
Delivery was almost as quick as the purchase! But even more important is the quality of the instrument that I picked out of the box! Sleek and colorful, exactly as I chose it to be, the nib glides over the paper leaving a splotch free smooth letter, then a word. Such a total pleasure to own and use!

Ellington pens just never work
Had trouble with my Ellington pen with ink flow problems and gave a poor review. However I have to say that they did get back to me and sent me a new nib and refill chamber. My advice to customers is use bottled ink rather than ink cartridges to get better ink flow to the nib. Works ok now with medium nib size

I love my stealth pen
I love my stealth pen. It writes smoothly and with the medium nib the ink is very nice. I’m going to try a fine nib just to see what it’s like. My only issue with this pen is me i think I’m not holding it tight enough because it turns on me while I write.

Good product but no resonse to three emails!
Products received were good quality. I was not happy with the feel of the fine nib and requested an exchange via the 30 day exchange they offer.No response to any email which is very unsatisfactory . Quick to take your money...not so good after that. On balance I am wishing I had purchased elsewhere.
