I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Ellis & Co Tottenham. I recently went through a move-out process that had a few complexities regarding dates and surrender, but the team supported me the whole way through.

I have the utmost respect for Georgia. She managed the entire process with incredible professionalism. She fought my corner, navigated the negotiations with the landlord, and ensured I received my full deposit back. It is rare to find a property manager who is that dedicated and fair.

I also want to say a huge thank you to Emilia, who was absolutely lovely to deal with. She was so caring and helpful regarding the viewings and property search. She brought a really human touch to the experience and made everything feel much less stressful.

Great service from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

Avoid this letting agency at all costs. My experience with them has been nothing but stress, disappointment, and complete lack of professionalism. They cancelled our move twice, both times at the very last possible moment, fully knowing our situation and how urgently we needed somewhere to live. Instead of being upfront or communicating honestly, they waited until everything was already arranged before dropping the news on us again.

What makes it worse is that each time, we were left completely in the dark until they finally decided to say something. It felt like they were stringing us along with zero regard for the impact on our lives.

Georgia handled our case, and while polite, the communication was consistently late and unhelpful. Nothing was ever explained until the situation was already ruined.

This letting agency left us out to dry, wasted our time, and caused unnecessary stress. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable or trustworthy place to rent.

I am writing to express my concern regarding the delay in response and the potential impact on my property search. Despite being assured of a response by 1 PM today, I have yet to receive any feedback—nearly four and a half hours later—causing significant stress and almost costing me an opportunity with another estate agent. I initially thought they were decent based on their reviews, but now I understand why their ratings are so low. Dealing with them over calls and emails made me appreciate more professional service. They also got their listing wrong in the email to us, initially £100 less than advertised. Even when I called to confirm, they gave me the initial figure, only to increase it by £100 when we visited the property.

To people reading this, find a better and more professional agency. To Ellis and Co, take heed and ensure more timely communication in the future.

Umut, the state agent, was very helpful all along the process. He showed us the property on demand and always communicated promptly when needed. He also gave us helpful reminders in the process that saved us on some costs. He is very approachable and friendly. I have moved house many times and bought and sold properties using many different estate agents. I have a small port folio of residential flats. Three years a ago I helped my brother who had been unwell move from London to Sheffield to be near the family. Ellis and Co Tottenham were instructed to sell his property.
Within a week they had several offers on the property but the move began to upset my brother and he cancelled the sale. Azid and Umut were very understanding, I brought my brother to Sheffield and the sale continued successfully.
I recently contacted Ellis and Co. and spoke to Umut to ask a favour; he remembered me immediately although we had never met. He willingly offered to help. Ellis and Co. go the extra mile every time and genuinely care for the people using their Agency.
I would recommend them above all the Estate Agents I have used in the past - and that is a large number of Agents.

I watched Azid go through Uni and eventually bring his talent to the company. It has been great to see the values of old combined with a modern approach to serving clients well. To Ellis and Co., we are family, not customers. To us, they are family, not agents. Their integrity is stoically consistent and they manage our affairs as if they were theirs. I live in the USA. But when I think property, I think only about Azid, Umut and the rest of the gang at Ellis. By putting their clients first, the market puts them first.
