We've been Elisson's tenants for 5 years, and very happy for it!

We've been Elisson's tenants for 5 years, and we are absolutely happy with the smooth and fair relationship we've been having with the Landlord and this amazing state agency. Since the first contact, when we received a respectful and understanding treatment from the Letting Manager, Laura, through the total support received from them for the rapport with the referencing company, to our entire tenancy period, during which we`ve had professional and fast assistance from the property management department. Our relationship with the Landlord couldn`t be fairer or smoother, and I`m sure that the skilled management of the demands by Ellison was essential for that. After knowing how state agencies can be unfair and disrespectful to prospective tenants, I absolutely recommend Ellisons as a loyal and professional state agency that I hope will continue to be the intermediary for our rentals, hopefully our first property acquisition.

The amazing BARBARA ANZALONE at ELLISONS Wimbledon

The amazing BARBARA ANZALONE at ELLISONS Winbledon

Subject: Feedback for Barbara Anzalone

Dear Barbara

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional support I received from Barbara Anzalone regarding the new Renters Rights Act and various other property management inquiries.

Barbara’s knowledge of the latest regulations and her thorough understanding of my concerns were invaluable. She took the time to explain the nuances of the new legislation, making sure I felt informed and confident in navigating the changes. Her responsiveness and willingness to assist me on multiple occasions has truly set her apart as an outstanding estate agent.

I greatly appreciate her professionalism and commitment to ensuring that I had all the information I needed. Barbara’s vast experience & dedication to her clients is evident, and I feel fortunate to have had her guidance during this process.

I highly recommend her to all new customers.

Thank you, Barbara, for all your help!

Best regards,

Jude

Thank you for everything

We have just completed the sale of my father in law’s property using Ellisons Morden Branch, and I can honestly say it couldn’t have gone any smoother. From Aidan’s initial sales valuation to receiving Jennifer’s call on completion, it couldn’t have gone any better. Aidan has always been there to answer a call or email, even calling late in the evening to tell me a buyer had pulled out at the last minute, but in the same breath to tell me he had another buyer! He was even there for us when he moved to his he Wimbledon branch!
I really can’t thank you all enough for everything you have done for us.

Excellent Service

I bought a property and sold a property through Ellisons Estate Agent, Wimbledon, and they provided an excellent service. I was caught in a property chain when selling and Sam LLoyd was very skilled in helping to unblock the chain. He has excellent negotiating skills and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of buying and selling property. He was also very good at keeping me informed of progress. The whole team at Ellisons are very efficient and pleasant. Ellisons provides a much more personal service than the bigger companies and I highly recommend them.

I have a property that I let via… Ellisons

I have a property that I let via Ellison’s. It is tenanted and needed new wardrobes. I wasn’t sure how to go about arranging new build-in wardrobes while the property was occupied. Would this be too inconvenient for the tenant? How would I manage the contractor and liaise everything myself? I needn’t have worried because Ellison’s took most of the heavy lifting off my hands. They provided a recommended contractor who quoted a wardrobe style that I had in mind. Once the quote was approved they liased with the tenant and the contractor for the work to be done. We have ended up with lovely new wardrobes for my tenants to enjoy and I’m delighted with how easy the process was. Thank you, Zainab.

Exceptional Service and Genuine Care from Ellisons

I recently worked with Ellisons to find a rental property for my daughter, and the experience was truly exceptional. Ella, in particular, went above and beyond to understand my needs and circumstances. She handled everything with professionalism, care, and incredible attentiveness.

For her to be able to understand the concept of where my daughter is coming from, that she is a professional, has a very strong guarantor on his own, has a family which were very supportive in the area. Unlike some estate agencies, not understanding there are quite a few young people coming up wishing to rent, not because they can’t get mortgages, but their ethos is to not get a mortgage but to save up to purchase when they can, and they are quite comfortable in paying rent. My experience in majority of these agencies is that no one could understand why someone would do that. I felt Ellisons had the ability to understand people which I have not found in the other agencies I have dealt with during this process.

Another aspect that stood out was how efficiently the entire team worked together. Within 48 hours, they secured a newly listed property no one else had even seen yet. Their communication with both myself and the landlord was seamless, making the process stress-free.

Ellisons also impressed me by offering guidance on a separate property issue, even though it wasn’t their direct listing. This level of professionalism and willingness to help is rare.

Ella was outstanding—professional, empathetic, and skilled beyond her years. I felt truly valued as a client, not just another tenant. If you’re looking for an agency that genuinely cares and delivers results, I highly recommend Ellisons.

Awful experience letting via Ellisons

Ellison's are so painful to deal with - avoid!! We let a property via Ellisons - they are slow to respond, not proactive and its typically the tenants that suffer. Our tenant gave 6 months notice, and they still have not been proactive at recommending price reductions or showing people around. We have had to follow up with them 5 or 6 times. Its never a consistent person responding, and their team are very inexperienced.

Recommend!

Having worked with Ellisons (Wimbledon branch) over the last few months and having seen the professionalism of their employees we would highly recommend Ellisons to others and will be coming back to them when we ultimately want to sell. Aidan Purtill was our estate agent, and he was fantastic from the outset. From start to finish Aidan has been dependable and pro-active, relaying information between us and the seller efficiently. He has been unflappable, taking the time to speak to all parties when stress was high and the deal could have potentially fallen through. Aidan excelled at his job and ultimately went above and beyond his role to ensure the best possible outcome for all. We are most grateful for this and suspect that without his calm and professional demeanour we would not now be living in our lovely new home.

Thank you Aidan and thank you Ellisons!

A near Total FiascoSale of Probate Property, 225 WBL. Feb. 14th - June 4th / July 8th 2024.

A near Total Fiasco, only rectified by our Solicitor, and a "Beyond Belief" POOR Experience of a "Probate" Sale to a "Cash Buyer"?

My family are Totally Disappointed by the Casual, Unprofessional Approach to Service provided by Ellisons, in regard to the reiterating of "incorrect" information and/or questioning, from the outset and the lack of security of an empty and unoccupied property, in regard to the unauthorised access, allowed by Ellisons.

No Truth, No Trust, No Belief, No Pride, No Respect, No Regulation, No Due Diligence, No Protocols, No Working Directives,

No Best Practice Procedures, No Duty of Care, No Ombudsman, No Governing Body, No consideration given to an ageing client's mental or physical wellbeing!

Even adopting an "ABC" Check Policy/ Strategy would have been a positive step towards reducing the following incidents of Abysmally Poor Service:

When you fail to adopt or implement Check Strategies, adequately or correctly, if there are Checks at all, you invariably allow yourself to be made to look "Foolish".
A very Poor Position to adopt when continually giving your client False Information ref: several non-logical extensions to Purchaser's chosen Exchange Dates, none of which were upheld; to then allow the Purchaser Unauthorised Access to the property, in order to carry out "Works", before Completion.

More concerning: inappropriate checking is most likely to make yourself appear complicit in giving False Statement and involvement in Inappropriate Actions, if not worse.

No Checks or Procedures, or no Escort Strategy adhered to, involving property keys, renders you " involved and complicit in acts of trespass" or Unauthorised Entries.

Incorrect/ Poor/ Non-existent Checks into buyer's available monies, required in order to present an offer to the Vendor, result in your " Cash Buyer" introducing delays, beyond the comprehension of both Conveyancers and Solicitors, as it is subsequently found he is the top of an extensive chain, with multiple Conveyancers/ Solicitors! Why not Man-up and explain the issues/ "misunderstandings"?

When your Poor/ Negligent Checks and perceived Falsehoods are found out; especially when the information you include on your emails, within the same stream, contradicts itself; the Solicitors involved invariably take great care to correct the Falsehood/ Misinformation/ Incorrect Action, while they keep Re-emphasising and Reminding you, Robustly and Emphatically, of the Correct Procedures that you should have followed. Why was it that the Conveyancers and our Solicitors, in the end, had to agree the Exchange and Completion dates without input from the Estate Agent?

Full/ Impartial Checks are part of the Estate Agents' Duty of Care to his/ her client. ( Which party was the client, in this case?). When you are found out, you will be confronted, if not have proceedings initiated against you for the misdemeanour.

This situation may not be "Fixable"? But a positive attempt, of redress for this POOR Unprofessional Effort, would go a long way to acknowledging and rectifying the Sorry Mess that has been allowed to accrue, through your Inappropriate and Unprofessional Behaviour!

There is no Higher Authority or Ombudsman to give you advice; so, your only recourse is to ask Social Media to advise you as to how to achieve
"Best Practice". How to better your Security. How to better your Work Ethic. How to best develop your Duty of Care Strategies. How to Professionally complete the necessary Checks. How to be a better Professional. How to properly Respect your client. How to Man up/ Front up.

I am certain helpful advice, as to how to achieve Best Practice from Protocols, Working Practices and Procedures, can all be found amongst the number of experienced contributors on Social Media, should you find it necessary, or are required, to ask.

Continuously not executing your Job professionally, or the inherent Checks involved, inevitably leads to Stress, Anxiety and Disturbance. All of which induce a Negative Effect on the Mental and Physical Wellbeing of your client.

Your Client deserves Full Recompense for the insufficient, or total lack of, Necessary Actions, during this Unprofessional Debacle.

I wonder if there is anyone at Ellisonsuk, if not Ellisons Raynes Park, who has any ideas as to how to best resolve this POOR, Unfortunate and Unacceptably Unprofessional situation, in a timely manner, to everyone's' satisfaction?

The Consensus of Opinion being that Reparations ARE DUE!

Thanks.

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service - rather use a different agency.

This is a recurring theme and to give some examples:
1. The property management team takes on average 3 months before any request is actioned.
2. Currently I have been waiting 6 months to receive a response (after 7 follow up request) regarding work that their contractors incorrectly completed and frankly to a very poor standard.
3. The service and speed have negatively impacted the tenants. The tenants were forced to live with a blocked kitchen drain for 5 days before Ellisons actioned a plumber to attend.

I would highly recommend to use another agency to avoid a true lack of service and negative impact on both the tenant and landlord.

genuine and professional

I had a very good experience finding my rented home in Wimbledon through Ellisons's. Special mention to Molly who showed us around the few properties before finalizing one, and also assisted through the process of renting, till we moved in the property just 2 days back.
I also visited their Wimbledon office once and they were all very helpful and professional in all aspects.
I also hope that my regards would keep running high with them during my upcoming stay in the property as well. I wish to leave another review after a year.
Overall, I have had a very positive experience from Ellisons estate agents and would recommend them to others looking or properties in/around Wimbledon.
Cheers.

Very disappointed with Ellison’s

Very disappointed with Ellison’s. I arrived at the property and called the agent several times and messaged via text to let them know I has arrived. No one turned up! In response to my concerns I was told that they had tried to contact me and the tone was rude. Shocking considering I am the client! Won’t be dealing with theme again!

Poor avoid at all costs

i used the wimbledon branch when renting a property in the area, as typical they are willing to help when trying to fill the property but once it was filled they were no help at all and although id emailed i got no answer, called the branch and they said they would call back but didn't.
upon leaving the property again they were no assistance, it was down to me to organise everything, trying to get my deposit back took nearly 1 month and i still haven't received my deposit.

im not sure they check the landlords they use properly, as i had nothing but issue with the landlord either.

multiple breaches of contract.

id avoid at all costs if looking to use Ellisons Estate Agents

I sold and purchased a property through…

I sold and purchased a property through Ellisons recently. The team was able to find my new abode tailored to my needs in a short time. Lewis, in particular was v helpful, calm and reassuring at all times even when there was a hiccup in the sale. All in all, the whole process went smoothly in the end.

Disgusting

Disgusting , never dealt with them. They were emptying a flat 4 houses down and decided to dump all contents outside of my house. Including mattresses, which were leant up to the fence causing a fire hazard. When asked if they had permission to dump the rubbish there, they simply avoided any questions and walked off. This was in colliers wood and have photos to prove it.
