Avoid.. terrible service

This was my first visit and I ordered a takeaway slice of the Dubai Pistachio Kunafa Cheesecake.

Unfortunately, after we’d left we noticed it had fallen apart, which was disappointing, especially given the price. The slice was also quite small for £10, so it didn’t quite meet expectations.

After leaving a review on google, the team asked me to email with more details, which I did, including the date, order number and item purchased. It’s now been 5 weeks and I haven’t heard back.

It’s a shame, as I was hoping for at least an acknowledgment or some kind of resolution. Very disappointed, won’t be visiting again.

Poor customer service for online orders

Ordered a cake a month in advance and then immediately emailed asking to change the delivery date (less than 24 hours later). Had to email 3 times and contact them on Facebook and instagram over the course of 2.5 weeks just to get a response of "oh yeah sure thought we'd already emailed you." Absolutely terrible customer service.

However, I have eaten at one of their cafes before and the food tasted fine and was very pretty.

Service and cheesecake both quite poor.

Service and cheesecake both quite poor.
Ordered tea which came without milk or sugar. The Lotus biscoff cheesecake arrived without any cutlery. When the fork arrived it turns out it is bitter biscoff not cheesecake. It’s chocolate mousse on a digestive biscuit as a base and has a biscoff biscuit on top. Not worth the money!

Heartbroken.

I’m really disappointed to be writing this, but I had such an upsetting experience with EL&N London at Westfield. I purchased a cake for a very special occasion — a joint celebration for my husband and our newborn baby — something that meant a lot to me.

As I was walking out of the store, I suddenly lost balance — not because I tripped, but because the bottom of the cake box wasn’t properly secured. The base was not fitted in correctly, and the cake started to slip through. In trying to save it from falling, I lost balance and the bottom of the box completely opened up. The cake fell to the ground.

Accidents happen, but what really broke my heart was the complete lack of response from EL&N. I emailed customer service explaining what happened, hoping for at least an acknowledgement or some empathy, but I never received any reply. Being ignored like that, especially when the situation wasn’t my fault, made the experience even more painful.

This was meant to be a joyful celebration, and instead it left me really heartbroken. I expected much better care and customer service from a brand like EL&N

I stopped at the Park Lane branch to grab a coffee and some cakes, and it was a horrible mistake as the coffee was so horrible, the cakes had flies and mosquitos hoovering around them, the whole place felt so dirty, but the worst thing was how rude the staff were, when I mentioned that the coffee is just water and that there wasn't any coffee in it, he got aggressive, so rude.

Westfield White City disgusting customer service

I was at your store jn westfields white city 1st time I had been to there and to your shop
The place looked amazing ! All pretty and pink ,cakes looked beautiful ! unfortunately the staff are very rude and need some serious customer service training ! as I had never been i wasn't aware of the ordering process ,so asked the older lady doing the cakes as I was looking still she has red/ purple hair ,absolutely rude, sharp and actually very aggressive in her nature and stating she hadn't got time to talk to me and tell me how to order so get in the que for the till, a simply answer that could off been answered with a smile while still doing her job and not adding xtra time ! And a simply go to the till to.order would been simple instead iff her telling me how busy she was For the price off the products that customers pay customer service is key do better ! If you don't like your job leave !

Wouldn't bother with this place

Wow.

On a date and trying to share a piece of cake, a pretty normal thing to do.
The restaurant is half empty and it's 8pm.

5 minutes after ordering from one lady a rude manager type person came and told us we had to buy more than one item.

If that's the policy of the store then they need to really think about their business. If it's not then the manager probably needs to be trained or moved on.

I visited EL&N Cafe Selfridges…

I visited EL&N Cafe Selfridges yesterday, and I was so disappointed. The customer service was the worst. The boy who served us was clearly undertrained, which just shows how the quality goes down. In a place like this, one would expect to have the best service, but unfortunately that was not our experience. EL&N Cafe, please invest more in staff training.

Gang members spot

Disgusting Place, someone old got threatened with a knife and vicious attack by the motorbike gang the store allow them, hang out side the shop, who are the managers and staff friends, it seems, these men sell illegal drugs and threatening innocent members of public, they host dangerous gangs at this store and when told the staff they do nothing even though a official complant had been made, so they must be in on it to, if you want a safe place dont go here , staff like seeing innocent members of the public threatened , by biker gangs with knives, these gangs of bikers , dont come from the local area.

This is the second review

This is the second review. Complaint lodged in October 2024. I’m still chasing. They say email on their website but no one responds with anything.
Had a business meeting here with food which took 3 hours to arrive, either burning hot or super cold. No waiter supported us. We asked for a manager - apparently manager was ‘busy’ so we could never complain. The metal food handle was extremely hot - I’d say burnt a part of my hand. Dangerous.
Then upon bill split, TAPPED MY CARD TWICE. Clearly the service is appalling that the waiter couldn’t see what he did. Upon seeing the business account, I ensiled asap. After 9 weeks of chasing, they’re asking me to track this other person who I met for a quick casual
Meeting and didn’t have details. I informed them that of this immediately so the waiter was aware it was requested to be split in payment. They offer no apology on the food, no apology for burning my hand, and no apology for making this financial
Error. Instead I’m left with this awful situation. I’ve cc’d everyone in their team. Yet it’s like no one is reading them. 3 months later still no refund on the double tapping? What is more, there’s tax on that business transaction. Please please be cautious upon payment.

The food is delicious but not enough I went yesterday with 2 other persons

I went yesterday with 2 other persons, it was very crowded, we were in queue for few mints. The service was good the food very delicious, we ordered chicken club sandwiches was very nice and made me feel full, we ordered avocado with poached eggs was very delicious but was one poached egg on one toast , it was not enough it supposed to be 2 eggs on 2 toast to feel good. She went and buy something else from outside . We ordered green salad they bring only spinach, no lettus no other green, it was poor salad .
All over the food delicious but some orders is not enough. We were not young and not a big eater like young teenagers

Terrible Service and Disappointing Experience at White City Westfield Café

Today, I went to the White City Westfield branch of this café. I ordered two slices of San Sebastian cheesecake.

First of all, the staff are never friendly; they don’t greet you at all. Despite waiting by the counter to place an order, no one came, and I eventually had to call someone over myself. Somehow, I managed to place my order and then moved over to the section where the cakes are displayed. The person trying to slice my cake struggled quite a bit and ended up completely ruining it. Then someone else came to assist and took the cake to a spot where I couldn’t see. They handed me the package afterwards, and I didn’t open it on the spot. However, when I got home, I was in for a big shock and disappointment.

The cakes were much smaller than they should have been, and they had been placed in the box all broken into pieces. When you’re paying £8 for a slice of cake, you expect a bit more care. Terrible service, terrible staff, and terrible products. This place just opened in Westfield, but I hope they leave as quickly as they came.
