Check the prices!

Used this company twice. First time Oct 25 to fix a smashed pane in sash window. Came same day, cost of £440, which I thought was quite steep for a very small double glazed unit, but it was an emergency callout, so I swallowed it.
Came out again Jan 26 for same thing, different pane of glass, 2 days notice given. Cost was £200 more at £640! for one pane of glass measuring 32x25cm! And left a mess.
Couldn't quote in advance as depended on glass and size needed. Price given after job was complete and had to pay by bank transfer there and then to the contractor. Very rude and unhelpful when I phoned the next day to query the price. Would not recommend. One of those companies who make up the price on the spot.
