The plates keeps breaking/cracking

Still not delivered

I was disappointed at the way my personalised mug, a gift for a friend, was packaged and when I contacted Emma Bridgewater I felt the reply was curt and frankly a poor excuse for a supposed premium product. I had received a parcel a couple of weeks earlier in the decorative red box with Emma Bridgewater branding.
So I ripped open the plain cardboard box I received this time and was disappointed to find the personalised mug inside, no protective packaging around it or in the box, just held with two cardboard lugs. When I questioned this I was told they had run out of the red boxes and as they were a B Corp company this was the way forward. So will not be ordering from them again. When private makers on Etsy and suchlike go the extra step to receiving a gift you purchase by sending it carefully wrapped and presented. Frankly felt Emma Bridgewater just isn’t bothering.

My mom has been collecting these mugs for as long as I can remember and now that I’m moved out, I though I would uphold the tradition. The illustrations on the mugs are always fun, creative, and beautiful. I don’t have anything negative to say; Emma Bridgewater has a special place in me. Excited to expand the collection and see future drops!

I ordered two personalised mugs. One of them was lovely, but I’m disappointed with the other one, which is the wedding confetti design.

To be honest, the design looks as though the pattern has been stamped on and the lettering has been added by a complete beginner. The two initials are noticeably different in size, and it looks more like an unintended mistake than an intentional design choice.

More importantly, the horseshoe-shaped stamp has been applied in the same colour as the initials and directly next to one of them. As a result, it looks like a third initial, almost like there are three initials on the mug. Because of this, it doesn’t feel like a personalised mug with my initials on it at all.

I’ve ordered from you before and have always been happy with the items I received, regardless of who made them, so this one is particularly disappointing.

I also waited over 3 weeks for the order arrive.

The bowl was chipped on receipt. The issue was dealt with immediately and a replacement was dispatched. Excellent customer service.

Excellent customer service. Couldn't have been more helpful especially when one of the pasta bowls arrived broken in the post. Emma Bridgewater replaced it immediately. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend. A pleasure to buy from.

As yet the order hasn't been received. Delivered to an unknown address by Evri; still waiting for the order to be resent or refunded, not very impressed to be honest
