The glitsey website is a con.
They do NOT have state of the art diagnostic equipment. It has cost me loads extra to have diagnostics done. I also had to get my car to the place which cost extra, Be VERY careful, there terms and conditions are a crock, they had my car for nearly 2years it was deemed unroadworthy, I had a engine rebuild done but was told oil in the water, they had re used the head gasket and other parts. It has cost me thousands to have white smoke pouring out and a jack handle wedged in the inner ding and a screwdriver found holding in the air filter. Too much to go into, but they promise they can do it all but they ruined my car, 2 years alot of money, please do not just look at the good reveues they are all ficticious,
I see the truth hurts.
What garage charges storage.
Engineer company stated that if it was driven at that time of collection it would have caused a catastrophic event.
It was only after I spent thousands on a solicitor and court action that all this was rectified,
I would hate anyone else to have to go through what I did.
No court action needed on your part non of this is malice if its thd truth.

Hi Mrs Kirkby, as you are well aware your Ford Ranger 2016 3.2 litre diesel arrived with us for a bare engine rebuild, as a non runner, this was after your classic car enthusiast husband had in depth conversations with us several times prior to sending the the vehicle to us, at no stage did he disclose that another garage prior to us had attempted to repair the engine and had failed to do so, the vehicle was taken from us after completion of the engine works, to another garage who drove the vehicle some 200 miles with a broken fan which we had explicitly warned you of amongst other things ,in fact we had said that this vehicle must NOT be driven until this issue was fixed, this was just one of the auxiliary items which we had given you strong warnings on that you declined to attend to, the vehicle needed a new turbo which after having returned the car to us you spent months without contacting us, neither you or your husband would answer the phone or respond to our messages, you gave several excuses as to your lack of contact, before eventually providing one which we fitted free of charge, this was carried out in goodwill, in order to conclude matters we also replaced several parts on your vehicle which were not our responsibility and commissioned an independent inspection of the engine before returning it to you. In respect of the head gasket, your cylinder head and head gasket were replaced with new, we have all of the photographic evidence of this and it is fact that re use of an old head gasket would not allow the engine to start therefore this is an absurd and totally false claim to make. The fact is that the vehicle came from a previous garage who had failed to fix it, after our works to rebuild the bare engine there were numerous auxiliary issues to the extent that our invoice warned you in writing as well as verbally that this vehicle must NOT be driven until all auxiliaries were attended to, those warnings were ignored and a subsequent garage caused further damages, the vehicle was released back to you only once the independent report verified that all was not only working but working well. Our efforts to conclude matters in goodwill have now clearly been in vain as this false review shows, therefore we are now operating a zero tolerance policy on malice and we have begun legal proceedings against you for the cost of all parts provided and fitted plus all storage and administration costs incurred.

Nissan juke 1.2
Nissan juke 1.2 had engine no compression on cylinder 4, brought in on recovery truck arranged by Danny and found some internal damage to various parts. Engine now running amazing, kept updated throughout the process and relatively quick from start to finish. Cost was higher that initial price but this was advised if any internal damage is found or ancillary parts need replacing.

Turns out the ‘recon’ cylinder head they charged me a fortune for was just an old head painted silver,they even sprayed over the old gasket material silver
I had to get the pitted valves seats recut,I have photo and video evidence

The whole experience from start to finish has been exceptional.
Faced with the dilemma of scrapping our much-loved and vital car I hunted around for options: no parts companies (Euro Car Parts etc) or Volvo repairers could offer any help, and so I googled recon engines and came across engines4sale.co.uk These brokers offer details of businesses who may offer solutions. Engine Reborn were the quickest to respond, the most comprehensive in detailing their reply, and they followed up my enquiry with WhatsApp messages as well as via email. Deciding to have the engine reconditioned is a huge and daunting step that is also costly, but through Danny's/Mubashar's calm professionalism, assurances, and detailed paperwork I felt I was making the right decision. Throughout the process I have received regular updates and photos, had my questions and various phone calls answered quickly and respectfully, and we now have our lovely car back purring like new. I cannot thank Mubashar - or recommend his business - enough. The whole experience from start to finish has been exceptional, and I'm very grateful to him and his calm expertise that we now have our daily runner back on the drive where it belongs! Great result to resuscitate our family car
Really happy that we chose to recondition our Skoda rather than scrap it or put in a second hand engine.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t go into this experience with considerable anxiety about whether it was the right thing to do and about the potential expense, but Mubashar (aka Danny) and his mechanics have done a terrific job. I’m currently running it back in so will update this once I’ve done the first five hundred or so miles but so far it is running very smoothly.
I would totally recommend Engine Reborn, they have been very thorough and quick and their communication throughout has been excellent.
We went in to this thinking we would pay for the initial assessment and then figure out if we wanted to pay to go on or to cut our losses. We went ahead and have come out with a reconditioned and clean engine with quite a few new parts and the car going great. We ended up paying the equivalent cost of buying and fitting a second hand engine with 60k+ miles on the clock only a 2 month warranty and no real knowledge of its history or condition beyond a visual check; so, I’m confident we have taken the right route for us.
Read the small print, work out your costings and talk it all through with Mubashar, knowing the different stages, timings and possible price escalators and if you feel it is right for you then go for it: the service you will get will be excellent.
Incidentally, I know next to nothing about cars but local mechanics and petrolhead friends all reckoned this has been a very good service from start to finish as well as the best option for us as our car was otherwise in good condition and we didn’t want to get rid of it.
