Our business model is to firstly give our clients the best experience in there time of need and to raise the quality of service being given by trying to make contractors do a better job. EPHG currently have over 60,000 clients, 8 staff taking the calls and hundreds of contractors being a national company covering an estimated area of 98%. Even though our terms and rates are available online, we verbally explain the rates, take a deposit, ask our clients to reply to a text or an email in writing to confirm the agreement including rates over the phone before we start the work. If we don't get a written agreement, our clients can ask for the payment to be voided the same day or a refund any other day. Our aim is to raise the quality of service in many individuals with highly trained staff by trying to make sure you don't full prey to potential crooks or unprofessional trades.

Outstanding service. Well worth the money.
The electrician was friendly and was not judgemental.
I say this because my house is in a bit of a state from subsidence etc and all too often I meet tradesmen who give out a bad vibe because of the state of my home. Outstanding behaviour goes a long way.
He was also an excellent electrician who explained everything and did all the paperwork without wrangling. This made it a rare experience for me.
And I have dealt with dozens of tradespeople.

Professional and reliable
Very professional service from start to finish. I had an emergency call out in the middle of the night and the problem was fixed quickly by a very knowledgeable and experienced engineer. I would highly recommend and use again.

Brilliant engineer called Kev
Brilliant engineer called Kev came to our house after we paid the call out fee. He was amazing! Talked my partner through the problem and what he was doing to fix it. He was really friendly, respectful of our house and great with our dog. Really recommend him as a gas safe engineer.
The company that we used to get him were also polite, explained the process that would happen so that i was sure of what was happening. No one likes having to pay for some one to come out in an emergency but I would definitely recommend this company.

Dependable service
Named engineer arrived within agreed time frame - promptly made measurements to locate the fault, and suggested measurements/inspections to verify the fault. After these were made, the fault was cleared, and power successfully restored. I recommend without hesitation.

Quick and friendly response when I called. Helpful advice over the phone. Full explanation of fees for what was involved. Regular updates via text. An engineer was with us within the hour and the problem was solved within 24 hours.

EPHG, a reliable source for emergency electrical gas and plumbing
The company kept us calm, handling our worries over the phone due to a circuit box issue leaving us with no lights.
The electrician provided to us was very helpful, arrived within 1 hour of call-out notice, knowledgable and showed us the fault, talked us through the process of why the fault occurred and tested it all in front of us to show that we had nothing to worry about
If you have any emergency issues this company is definitely worth giving a try!

We noticed a leak in the kitchen…
We noticed a leak in the kitchen roofing the morning, coming from the water tank upstairs. We phoned and got a quick response and a plumber was found to come out as soon as possible. He was there within an hour and a half and quickly fixed the problem. Very quick, efficient and professional service. Fully recommend this firm.

EPHG provided a great service to get my boiler fixed on a Friday afternoon. I tried multiple boiler engineers none of which had the part available and could not fix boiler till the following week. EPHG proved an engineer with the part and boiler was fixed within 2 hours of phoning them.

If this was the same client I'm thinking about, I'm assuming it was a pump within the boiler, where our client contacted us, asked for a specific pump to be fitted, contact was made with the engineer, who said he either has the pump or can get the pump on route.
Most emergency call-outs on boiler problems, we only give a 70% chance of a fix onsite before having to order parts, and on this occasion, I'm happy for you, that we was able to assist you better that other companies.

This is a real emergency service
This is a real emergency service. I called my home insurance and British Gas. Neither could get me a plumber on a Saturday night. I tried so many so called emergency plumbers last night and nearly gave up. Kieran was great and explained the whole process. The gas engineer was with us within the ETA on a Saturday night! Tom did a great job. He checked everything before leaving and left within 30 minutes of coming. It is pricey but its a real emergency service and il get the money back from my insurance.

On reflection, I now come to realise this review came from a complaint that was resolved, and I can say we're very grateful to get a 5 star review, even though the contractor will no longer be getting any further work from us.
We felt our client deserved more, and we refunded everything we took from our client.
