I had a gastric sleeve with professor Dr Ali solmaz on 29th November 2024. Everything was amazing from the coordinator Gul making sure I was well informed of everything, the collection from airport I was given clear instructions on pick up and driver was there waiting for me. The hospital was so clean and nurses were so attentive and couldn’t do enough. My interpreter was there to take me for my pre op tests and explained everything to me. I’m now 6mth post op and I can’t thank erdem hospital and Dr Ali enough for the care and support I have received from them. I still hear from them to this day to check my blood results and make sure everything is still going well. I’d highly recommend my experience was amazing and I was very well looked after

Não houve contrato, nem prestação de serviço. Retiveram o meu dinheiro sem fundamento.
Sinto-me lesado e enganado.

I paid a deposit to Erdem Hospital for two surgeries that were supposedly planned for January, but they were never scheduled or confirmed. When I requested a refund, the hospital refused, claiming a 7-day cancellation policy that was never disclosed to me.

There was no contract, and no service was provided. They kept my money without justification.
I feel misled and mistreated.
Be cautious with this clinic – serious lack of transparency and respect for consumer rights.

I was very nervous about my hair transplant but they made me feel at ease, they are a great hospital and the staff are very friendly, my aftercare has been brilliant.
Anyone who is questioning whether or not to do it i would highly recommend this hospital, the hotel was lovely, the transfers were always on time and welcoming.

I had a great experience, no problem for my removal and new implant , great quality prices , considering go again for other surgery , I recommend all my friend result are incredible. Thank you Erdem and for aftercare once back in uk checking up on me .

I recently had breast augmentation surgery at Erdem Hospital, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, professional, and reassuring.

Great experience before, during and after my hair transplant. They are really dedicated to making it a relax and clear procedure. They are the place to go in Turkey for hairtransplant or other procedures!

I had a hair transplant over a year and a half ago, and that’s the timeframe the team at Erdem Hospital claims is needed to see the final results of the procedure.

Let me explain everything from the beginning so you can understand why I absolutely do not recommend this hospital for a hair transplant.

Initially, I contacted someone from the hospital’s commercial department to express my interest in a hair transplant in Turkey mainly because of the lower price. At the time, I had no knowledge of or references for Erdem Hospital.

During our early conversations, I sent the required photos of my hair loss situation, which were reviewed by the doctor. He diagnosed me as having grade 3 baldness and estimated that I would need 3,500 to 4,000 grafts. I agreed with the terms and proceeded with the deal.

On the day of the surgery, based on our agreement of 3,500 to 4,000 grafts, I expected the procedure to take about 4 to 6 hours. However, to my surprise, the surgery lasted less than 2 hours, and they only transplanted 1,800 grafts that’s just 45% of what was promised.

I immediately found it strange and questioned the doctor. He insisted that this was all I needed and that the result would look perfect after a year to a year and a half. Even though I was suspicious, I had no choice but to trust his word and hope for the best.

From the start, the grafts on my frontal hairline were placed far apart from each other, which was already concerning. But I still held on to the hope that it would eventually look as promised with density and full coverage.

After one year, I could clearly see the result was bad: the frontal line had hairs very spaced out, with almost no density, and the middle of my head no exaggeration looked like they implanted only 6 hairs. If I were to rate the improvement, it would be about 5% out of 100%.

Still, I followed their advice and waited the full 1 year and 5 months, but there was no significant improvement.

I previously messaged them to complain, and my case was supposedly reviewed again by their medical team. Their response was that there was improvement and, as a “gesture of goodwill,” they offered me one free PRP treatment. I found this offer completely irresponsible the medical team refused to take accountability for a poorly done procedure.

Feeling completely unsatisfied, I looked for a trustworthy, ethical, and specialized hair transplant professional to assess the situation. From a technical standpoint, he confirmed that the transplant had not been done responsibly.

For example, the frontal line should be made with fine single-hair grafts, placed close together with no gaps. The evaluation from this new clinic described my result as the infamous “doll hair” look using thick hairs and too much spacing.

Behind the hairline, they should have used grafts with 2 or 3 hairs, increasing gradually and achieving a density of around 60 follicular units per square centimeter. None of this was done properly.

In summary: this was a completely irresponsible transplant, the medical team refused to take ownership, and now I’ll have to spend five times what I originally paid to fix this terrible job done by Erdem Hospital.

To conclude: it’s better to pay more and go to a trustworthy clinic or doctor than to take the risk with Erdem Hospital. As the saying goes:
“Cheap ends up expensive.”

Erdem hospital - I can’t reccomend them enough. Everything from start to finish has been exceptional. Travelling to a foreign country to have surgery is unnerving, but I felt like I was home from home in their hospital. I stayed with Erdem for 3 nights before I made my way to the G hotels (lovely also) Although a slight language barrier with the nurses, they were very caring and helped me with whatever I needed (we used Google translate to help us understand eachother). I had all my obs taken regularly, medication kept on top of and the lovely nurses helped me to the bathroom etc and took me for a walk. Translators provided by Erdem were lovely also, helped me with any questions I had and were a big reason also why my stay was so relaxed and positive. My surgeon Dr GOKHAN SEMERCI, amazing! Speaks English too which was such a bonus for me, his assistants were lovely too (one also spoke English) I’ve had no issues so far with my surgery and I’m over the moon and have been recommending both him and Erdem hospital to friends and even strangers who’ve asked for info. Il see you again no doubt in the near future. Thank you

I had had a hair transplant with Erdem clinic twice now and each time from pickup to drop off everything has been smooth and professional. I have recommended Erdem for this procedure to my friends and will continue to do so!

My experience with Erdem clinic was amazing. I had a previously broken nose and extremely limited breathing, as well as aesthetic concerns. The team was so helpful, from the day we initially spoke all the way through to the after care process. I’m 3 weeks post op, and am now not only able to breathe fully, but also feel confident in my nose! The recovery process was shockingly easy, the team with Erdem gave me all the support I needed to make it a seamless process. I had a gastric sleeve at Erdem Istanbul on 22/04/25. This review is also a huge Thankyou, I was greeted and had my pre op checks swiftly and settled into my room. The following day I had the surgery, I went alone and after waking from the anaesthetic I was very confused, and disorientated and scared, I should of took a companion but the staff were absolutely brilliant with me and reassuring me and helping me calm and staying with me, offered to stay in my room for blocks of time even though they were very busy. The 1 day post op there was the 6.2 earthquake. All the staff were fantastic, calm and professional with the correct level of empathy and structure, they safely evacuated the hospital and then safely returned a whole hospital of patients to their rooms. What a brilliant team. I am now home 6 days post op and doing fantastic, following all the advice and guidance I received. If I should need further surgery after my weight loss journey I will definitely be booking it with Erdem. Thankyou to all the staff

I recently had bariatric surgery at Erdem Hospital, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the very first consultation through to the aftercare, the entire process was handled with professionalism and genuine care. The whole team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and always made me feel comfortable and informed.
The hospital itself was spotless and very well-maintained, which gave me a lot of confidence going into the procedure. One of the things that meant a lot to me was that my wife was able to stay with me the entire time. She was also well taken care of, receiving three meals a day during our stay.
I’m truly grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
