Excellent Programme that covers all my…

Excellent Programme that covers all my needs as a P.I.M. Calendar and an excellent Notes section. I upgraded to the Pro version which has exceeded my expectations. The more I explore this software the more versatile I find it becomes. Well done to all that work on it.

The word "Calendar" popped off my EPIM

The word "Calendar" suddenly and without warning popped off EPIM on my new Windows 10 about a year ago, and I have attempted to regain it several times. I can't get into my calendar. All I could get for "custromer service" was a useless, elitist guy with an impermeable Russian accent (and very little English) telling me that EPIM was working--which, of course, it wasn't or I wouldn't have phoned. I gave up! While I've printed out the weekly calendar forms through April 2022, including some repeating events like birthdays and every-other-day Meals on Wheels, I have been filling in the new dates with pen & pencil for months. EPIM's customer service, unless, perhaps, you're in Russia, is utterly disgusting.

Love the concept but unstable

I love the concept but the app is far too unstable. Simple things such as moving a task to a later date cause unpredictable problems such as duplicates or entries missing. I gave up and went back to Thunderbird

A valuable crutch for my memory.

I love this program. It is my lifeline to me, because I use it to remember my appointments and contacts. I have memory issues from an accident & Essential PIM has made my life functional.

EssentialPIM is it for me

I have been using EssentialPIM for more than 10 years now. From time to time I tried to switch over to Outlook since it is paid for in my subscription but I keep coming back.

I use EPIM since a good deal of years.
As a self-employed I needed a rock-solid, flexible and very user friendly planner.
After an attentive test of several programs of the same kind, EPIM was the winner on all the points. And with a lot of goodies and bonuses.
Moreover, the constant work of its developers make it better and better.

"The" PIM

I've been using EssentialPIM for a long time and I'm satisfied with the software, but what makes me very satisfied is the technical support, which is fast and solves any problems.

I did an investigation several years…

I did an investigation several years ago to find something that was the best in agenda, diary, control and monitoring, so I found this application, after reviewing a wide offer I chose EssentialPIM. Since then it has not failed me and I have seen the interest and effort that its creators have constantly put to improve it, I recommend it exhaustively.

EssentialPIM - Essential

I have been using EssentialPIM for years. It's best-in-class software. The developer is constantly improving the software, adding new features, all important and useful. Support works very well. The suggestions you forward to the developer are always analyzed with care and respect.

Where is your color-coded Calendar?

I happily used the free Epim for years. Since I'm in my mid-80s, long retired, I had no use for any feature other than the color-coded Calendar, which I loved since my eyesight is poor and the colors helped enormously in maintaining medical and church appointments. I'd installed it on my first Windows 10 laptop, upgraded from an early Windows 7. This laptop is in poor condition. The Epim Calendar is still on that laptop, working fine, but the computer (which is long out of warranty) doesn't work well. It overheats and can't be left on very long. So I got a new Windows 10 in May 2020 and installed Epim. It ran well but after a couple of months suddenly the entire Calendar disappeared, including the word "Calendar." There was no link name to click on. All I got was a white screen with confusing small print letters that no one with bad eyesight could have figured out. I used a magnifying lens, however, and the word "Calendar" wasn't anywhere. I tried calling for Help and live Chat, but got nothing but responses from an arrogant man who kept telling me there was nothing wrong! He wasn't interested in helping someone who wasn't a hacker. Your "upgrades" apparently don't contain the very feature that people loved Epim for--your Calendar! Personally I have no use for any other feature. At least that old formerly Windows 7 allows me to print out weekly calendars ahead of time and handwrite newly-made appointments--but they're no longer automatic, color coded, or conveniently on the laptop I regularly use.

This looks very strange as there's still Calendar in EssentialPIM and we didn't change anything in the program recently that might have caused its disappearance. We do not offer live chat and that's why I'm not sure if you contacted our support. Would appreciate if you mention your support ticket ID number(s) so that we could investigate the situation.

Over the past several years

Over the past several years, my experience with EssentialPIM can be summed up by: the program works well, they are constantly updating the program (making it better), and they are very responsive to customer inputs/questions/concerns. Good software, backed by good people.

Very user friendly and great customer support

Very user friendly. Colorful customization especially in Calendar by theme and importance. Cheaper than the market leader software and much more intuitive. Great and fast customer support (absolutely the quickest I have ever experienced of any software I have ever bought). I bought the lifetime update which is well worth it. I sync it with CompanionLink for Outlook (and DejaOffice on Android) and it works great.

If the database is not loading, there should be an error message shown. If you simply faced a blank screen upon EPIM's start that usually means no database file is opened and you need to click on File->Open to load one up. Hope it helps.
