The blades go blunt very quickly. At most you get 2 uses before you need to change. The blades also "damage" the skin, I never have gotten so many nicks and razor burns as I have with this product, not since experimenting with bic razors in my preteens!! Also, since using this razor my legs are destroyed with ingrown hairs, not my underarms, just my legs.
The ethos is nice etc. but I can't help but feel with the constant changing of heads that it's not that much more environmentally conscious than your Venus razor etc.
I have decided to cancel today, I barely shave, but when I do choose to I don't want to feel like I am harming my skin.

Handles are too slippery, blades come off to easy and it has given me the worse ingrowing hairs ever!!!!

The handle feels good quality. The blades are poor and go blunt very quickly. My blades didn’t arrive. Customer services were difficult to get hold of and and were dismissive. Cancelled my subscription. Won’t be ordering again and would not recommend. Poor.

The look of the razor is very nice but the actual practicality of it isn’t good at all. The razors get very gooey and slimy after one use and makes it difficult to shave properly. The razor heads also pop off very easily especially when you’re trying to shave in more sensitive and harder to reach places so it’s difficult to ever shave properly there. Brand ethos and message is great but the actual product needs a lot of work.

Absolutely un-safe to use the handle is sturdy but the clips for the blades are terrible ive cut myself more than once where ive been mid shave and the head had come away from the handle.

Before using these razors, I never had issues with ingrown hairs and now I get them everytime I shave! I gave it a go for a year but they’re just not suitable for me. Each razor blade only lasts 2-3 shaves.

Blade went completely blunt after 1 use. Would not recommend. Will be going back to high street razors.

Absolutely best shaving product ever. I have been using it for 9 months and it works amazingly, no need to change the blades every month like with other brands. So worth it. Amazing product. Incredible design. Thank you.

Really wanted to like it as the concept is a great idea, nice aesthetic etc but the razor itself is awful. Gave me red bumps instantly and went blunt so fast.

The razors are great and they make your skin feel so soft too! Whenever I’ve had any issues estrid have immediately sorted them out over Facebook messenger. Great company and great product.

The razors are awful. It’s too bulky and heavy. They make the razor handle feel ‘expensive’ but the actual blades are terrible. Too big to shave anywhere sensitive. Go blunt after about 3-4 uses. I’ll be going back to Gillette without a doubt. Worst £8 I’ve ever spent.

I really like the branding and the ethos but the actual product is poor. The razor gets gooey very easily and as a result, doesn’t secure properly onto the handle and keeps slipping off. The wall mount is very insecure as well and doesn’t stick properly. The razors seem reasonably effective for one use- after, they scratch my skin and are uncomfortable to use. I’m disappointed overall as I really wanted to like it after seeing it advertised online, and with it being pushed so much by influencers.

The handle and handle holder are a well developed product, the shaving cream is also nice however the blades themselves caused irritated red angry skin

I believe they are actually just cheap disposable ones from Amazon

Customer service is great, delivery a bit slow but unfortunately the razor itself is rubbish. The handle is a nice quality but the blades are blunt and the don’t deliver a close shave as the blade is bulky and can’t reach all areas. Blades get very sticky and gooey when wet

Really disappointed with this product. After signing up for the convenience of the subscription and the endorsements on social media, I was not impressed with the results- even when using the supplied holder stuck to the shower wall.

After a couple of uses, even when shaving as gently as possible, I ended up with multiple razor cuts and rashes all over my legs- and I’ve had to cover them up with leg make up due to embarrassment.

I really wouldn’t recommend Estrid. I have been shaving for years, and never had this problem. Gillette Venus razors are miles better and much kinder to the skin.

So worth it! I’m in love with my new razor from Estrid! First time of my life shaving was so easy and quick. After it my legs are super smooth and perfectly shawed. Nor redness or rushes. Packaging is amazing and case for the razor is very essential for everyday use and especially for travelling. Highly recommend to become an Estrid family member for everyone.

I saw these everywhere on Instagram and thought they looked great and bonus points for being ethical.. but since buying them I have the had the itchiest legs and my hairs grow back so quick… so I’m assuming it’s not giving a clean shave. I’ve even been to the GP because I was worried about the itching. This is the only thing I’ve changed and I will be going back to the more well known brand like Venus and Gillette. I’ve got scabs/rashes/scratches on my legs from itching so much and Ive started getting Ingrown hairs on my bikini line which I’ve never experienced before in my 15+ years of shaving. The shaving cream is also awful, it doesn’t lather up.. I’d rather use shower gel. I will be cancelling my subscription and would not recommend to a friend! I’m really disappointed as I had such high hopes!
