Throughout this last year of significant global change, to have been able to access Hebrew classes from home has been a blessing - something steady, special. Clearly, the aim is to get the student to read the Text itself, an admirable aim, and a great challenge. The benefits of this course have already become apparent in my life, and are in "seed form" for the future - hard work pending! I appreciate the insight of the teachers, who have the passion, skill, and training to share their work in an accessible way. I have been pleasantly surprised that a "classroom" relationship can be experienced, without having met in person. I would say that the course is good value for money. It's amazing that after 18 lessons I personally can read a bit and understand certain words in Hebrew, which at the beginning of the lesson was completely foreign and I look forward to level B

Rosen has an established curriculum that clearly they have been using for years, which I, as teacher myself, appreciate. My teacher is familiar with the curriculum and uses relevant vocabulary, which I appreciate.

Staff and teachers are professional, courteous and extremely friendly. For someone my age,+65, and never having any contact with the Hebrew language I feel by the end of lesson 6 I should be able to communicate, read and write with understanding the Hebrew language somewhat fluently. I must admit I am not advancing as fast as I thought, however it is due to my learning disability not a reflection of the school or teacher. My particular teacher is great and will take the time to help or answer any questions we may bring up. By offering additional private lessons, at a reasonable cost, I have improved my understanding and use of Hebrew. This benefit goes along so well with our weekly lessons and I have noticed a vast improvement in my comprehension. Another added benefit is I have become more familiar with the customs and culture which will help when my wife and I travel to Israel in the future. Something we are both looking forward to!

Response to questions and queries is prompt. Learning is tailored to meet students needs. Every thing is done where possible for the students outcome, flexible and kind staff to speak to on the phone or WhatsApp.

Its an amazing learning experience. I wish there was a separate financial stream or a special discount for people who come from third world nations because not every one who has interest can sign up for courses like this for a longer period of time. it costs a lot of money. Overall a wonderful venture !

Ms Ariella Vico, my Modern Hebrew teacher, is very patient and also answers all my questions. She is quick to note where my mistakes are and help me correct and improve; e.g. in pronunciation of certain consonants. Very encouraging and assuring throughout the learning session. I look forward to each lesson with her!

Studying Hebrew, Aramaic, & Greek (all for academic credit) - having been a STEM student for all of my academic and working life, I found that IIBS allowed me to learn in subject areas that I had previously found very difficult to get into.
