Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.

Smooth service, minor snags, the watch looks marvelous!
Everything worked, the watch is now with me.
I paid 8 euros as additional VAT to the delivery courier.
When I tried to activate the lifetime warranty on the ingersoll website, I hit a snag.
I received error messages, although later by email the firm informed me that the warranty was activated.
Another thing that is of importance to me is the biannual service that ingersoll recommends. I could not find on the website a list of the service points in Athens, Greece.

Overall, the watch is good, Luxury, Elegant and Beautiful, only thing I didn't like was the delivery, It was written it's gonna be here with me in 3-5 days but it took more than 10 days to arrive, but again the watch itself is recommended :)

Correct, fast and most importantly: safe
The watch I ordered was delivered in 2 to 3 business days after purchase on the webshop. I live in Belgium, I did not have to pay any customs. The package was packed greatly to prevent it getting damaged from all the external hands it goes through before arraving (couriers).
It was delivered and it looked fine so I can't complain. Their package tracking system is good too(e-mail updates). By the way the watch looks even better in real life!

Many thanks for your message. The replacement strap are directly available through us and are not part of retails assortment, as it is offered as spare part for service/repair. The strap price quoted was approx. 40% to the price you paid for the watch, so it is not near to the price of the actual watch. This is an original strap and it is exactly the same as the one fitted on the watch.
