Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.
Ingersoll watches have been sold continuously since their inception and today the Ingersoll brand is renowned the world over.

Got a watch with obvious scratches on…
Got a watch with obvious scratches on the leather strap. Service didn't agree with it and said it was "normal". So I had to send the watch back...

As discussed on the email that the scratches you are referring to are actually is textured grains of leather material which is natural for thsi type of leather material. We also checked and confirmed that this texture is also present on our remaining inventory of thsi model.

The watch itself is good, but basicaly the only strap is the factory one. You are very limited there too. No stainless steel options only rubber and to swap from leather to rubber costs about 100€.
Regret buying it,
Very limited use.

I have bought 3 watches.
All are very beautiful, nice, and working great!
They have come quickly, with FedEx.
5-7 days, not more!
Nice and smooth, leather cases for them, and in a little paper box! All was well packaged and secured!
Highly recommend the watches and the company!

Delivery to Germany was unsuccessful…
Delivery to Germany was unsuccessful not to mention that customer rep has shared with me the wrong information such as tracking number from another customer, etc. I was told refund would be issued but still waiting for it. Very disappointing

As per our telephone communication, as advised, we contacted FedEx and were advised that the order is being returned due to recipient refused delivery.
Anyway, we have already organised to re-dispatch this order today by FedEx with priority service so it will be delivered to you within 2-3 working days.
