Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 559 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently struggled with confusing payment machines and mobile applications that completely failed to work properly, directly resulting in unexpected and heavy parking fines. People also reported that formal appeals were routinely rejected by the administration even when they provided completely valid evidence of payment or permits. Some reviewers were not happy with the excessively high parking costs and poorly maintained locations that frequently flooded or lacked any clear signage. Consumers additionally mentioned that trying to contact customer support or resolve ongoing disputes felt virtually impossible, as aggressive debt collectors were quickly involved in the process.

Disabled person harassment.

I wrote in an appeal to Euro Car Parks Limited on 18th of December 2025, regarding car park charges I received on 25/11/25 in Scotland.
I had never ever over stayed in any parking area ever. I ended over staying an hour and 3 mins, due to health reasons which were out of my control. I suffer from unpredictable leg spasms. They can come on any time. I ended up taking a muscle spasm on my right leg starting from my right calf up to my hip. I could not straighten or stretch the agonising pain. It took me the over staying time to get to the car with support of my younger sister who has disabilities her self. As even though the spasm relaxed but the pain in the back of the calve was agonising and could not walk on it properly, and can last for days. My doctor gave a supporting letter stating that I suffer from leg spasms. I had a blue badge displayed aswell.

I requested for the parking charge to be revoked on medical grounds.

I never heard anything back. Till March 2026, I received a notice to pay £100. So I sent them copies of original appeal, doctors letter, and proof of postage first class delivery.

Then I receive a letter stating that the appeal should have been made within 28 days from the date of the parking charge notice. Please note that we eare unable to accept your correspondence as this parking charge notice has now been passed to Debt Recovery Plus and contact them directly with regards to payments.

I my opinion the whole Euro Car Parks Limited is badly managed. Firstly the portal to make an appeal dies not work. Secondly there are no phone numbers to call and the ones there are for payments. Thirdly when a person with disabilities makes an effort to register post an appeal. That gets disgarded and then when you send them another letter with all the first appeal evidence that gets disregarded.

My disappointment is there are wrong people in the wrong jobs. All they want to do is ignore the appeals and just want the payments. I will be reporting this to the Consumer Standards Organisation.

Really disappointed and disgusted with these private companies that lack management skills and harass and discriminate against people with general medical health grounds. Wrong people in the wrong jobs.

We should raise these kind of behaviours and get a journalist to run the story in the newspaper.

Euro Car Pricks.

Euro Car Pricks.
Bellend pretend car park 'business' that extorts money from usually decent, unsuspecting and unfortunate people.
Nothing better to these guys than issuing fines of £100 for overstaying your parking by minutes.
Nice partnership with Morrisons too... I, like so many others, will be shopping elsewhere (Aldi or Lidil) in future for my family of seven and our £250-a-week shopping bill... no car park sharks there... Great business... must be why you're doing so well thesedays 👌

Incorrect charges, unprofessional, disproportionate fines

Incorrect charges, egregious fines, failure to communicate, unprofessional.... the list goes on. I complained to the supermarket directly and they resolved everything very quickly. Hold Euro Car Parks to account, escalate to the retailer, document your complaints and keep the evidence.

Parking fine for charging my car

Parking fine received however I contested as I was charging my EV. Email received advising fine will be paused until a response is received, no response received and now received a final demand 3 months after the original fine. No way of contacting via phone so further contested message sent, again no response. Left with no option but to pay the now increased fine. Very poor for obvious reasons.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! Fine you even if you have been registered when parking at a restaurant! Don't have a complaints advice number - everything must be in writing so you cannot call and explain and ask what you need to do. If I could give no stars I would!!! Terrible company!!!!! Don't use their car parks

Parking Fine Despite Paying

Got a parking fine from a car park despite paying the parking notice. They will probably come back to me and say the machine didnt print properly which seems to be the case on the reviews ive seen, which is their problem not mine. Absolute scam artists!

One day these car park companies will…

One day these car park companies will be looked in to properly and will have to pay millions back to people who they have made illegitimate court claims knowing full well that people will just pay at that point due to time and not understanding how unfair a small claims court process is.
Just wait.

Absolutely disgraceful company to deal…

Absolutely disgraceful company to deal with.

Issued a parking charge to a legitimate employee vehicle during a night shift.

Appeal rejected even after evidence and explanation were provided.

What makes it even worse is the complete lack of proper "customer" service. No way to speak to an actual human being, no phone support, and everything feels deliberately designed to frustrate people into giving up and paying.

The whole process feels automated, cold and completely uninterested in fairness or common sense. If someone can be penalised while literally working on-site with management aware of the vehicle, what chance does the average customer have?

Companies like this are exactly why people have lost trust in private parking enforcement. Less about genuine parking management, more about aggressive revenue collection dressed up as “compliance”.

Avoid wherever possible and also boycott any companies that use these rogues to operate their car parks!

Eurocarparks failure to comply with BPA rules...

I received a parking charge from Euro Car Parks and wanted to share my experience. I appealed it, explained everything clearly, and they still rejected it — which is why I’m leaving this review.

I fully accept that I was technically a few minutes late back to my car. I’m not denying that. But the reason was simple and completely out of my control: I was stuck in a long, slow supermarket checkout queue in Morrisons. By the time I’d finally paid, walked back to the car, loaded my shopping and left, I was only around 10 minutes over my paid time.

My bank statement even shows it took me 4 minutes just to pay for parking after arriving — which is normal when you have to find a space, walk to the machine and read the signs.

What makes this so frustrating is that Euro Car Parks is a BPA‑approved operator, which means they must follow the British Parking Association timing rules. These rules clearly state:

- A consideration period of around 5 minutes on arrival to park, walk to the machine and pay
- A mandatory 10‑minute grace period at the end of paid parking before issuing a charge

My timings fall exactly within those allowances — 4 minutes at the start and 10 minutes at the end — yet Euro Car Parks still issued a £100 charge and then rejected my appeal without taking any of this into account.

It feels incredibly unfair to punish genuine customers who have paid for parking and simply got stuck in a supermarket queue. A bit of common sense and understanding would go a long way. Unfortunately, my experience with Euro Car Parks has shown the opposite.

This one star is VERY generous

This one star is VERY generous. I parked in Farnborough carpark for the first time in February. I was with my cousin who has parked there previously and even she was not aware that you couldn't park for 2 consecutive 2 hours. We had been in the Beefeater and then we thought we would walk round Farnborough. I paid for another 2 hours. There was nothing above the payment machine that stated we couldn't stay for another 2 hours. The carpark itself was very empty at this point.
I received a penalty notice that I had overstayed my time. I sent in my appeal with photocopies of the 2 parking tickets I had paid.
The appeal came back saying that there were yellow signs in the carpark with the notice on. The picture I was sent made the sign look enormous - definitely one that you would not miss. I googled the carpark and yes there were signs but not at eye level. Even in yellow they were easy to miss.

I would suggest to Eurocarparks that they should have the sign at the payment machines making it extremely clear about the carparking restrictions.

Looking at other reviews, I am not the only person who has been caught out by the signs for Farnborough Sainsburys carpark - I was not parked in the carpark by Sainsbury's but in the carpark by Beefeater. There are lots of complaints - I am surprised Watch dog hasn't picked it up and looked at practices in other Eurocarparks.

I’d give no stars if I could.

I’d give no stars if I could.
These parking gangsters sent a PCN for parking less than 10mins in a disabled bay at Kidderminster weavers wharf McDonald’s. Claiming our badge was not displayed.
They have sketchy photographs of the back of our car and in over my husbands shoulder. The forward facing photos are of us moving away. This is their “ evidence” the fact displaying a badge is not a requirement when driving and they don’t show the full windscreen while we’re parked makes their claim pretty weak.
Not to mention our son’s blue badge is registered on the main car park.
I appealed and sent my proof and they reduced the charge to £20 but if I continued my appeal it would raise to £100. They don’t use POPLA for appeals they use IAS who often find in their favour. (According to 2 separate AI bots) so I paid the £20 and fired off complaints to all involved parties. If this can happen to us when we clearly had a badge on display ( had they looked in person they’d have seen this) then it can happen to anyone!
This company should NOT be allowed to operate!!!

Unscrupulous money grabbing thieves

Unscrupulous money grabbing thieves! Paid for parking and left on time, but was charged £100 because my car registration number wasn't fully entered (probably their faulty machines). There were literally 5 cars in the car park the entire time, I had proof of payment and all the digits matched my registration. POPLA sided with them because I didn't follow the rules to the letter. The pdf form I was sent was a template with a filename like miskeyed-registration2.pdf. It's like they go looking for ways to fine people. I paid £1.50 to park and was charged £100 so the fine was 6600%! Hopefully the new government legislation will get rid of POPLA and this total sham.

Sainsbury's car park Eastleigh Hants

I was in Sainsbury's car park Eastleigh Hants, as Suggested by My Housing Officer, I parked up, Went in to the Council to see them, and waited 40 minutes before someone came to see Me, the long & short, Is I'm disabled, no permit, I overan accidentally due to the nature of the appointment I get a letter from EuroCarParks 7 days later wanting £80, £50 if I pay within a 30 day limit, I've tried ringing to pay, automated service, doesn't accept payment, went online to pay via Googlepay, that didn't work either, said I didn't have any money in My account, which I had, My overall impression I they don't want You to pay the smaller amount, but want You to pay the full £80 instead 😡🤬👎

I would give them NO stars if I had the option. Euro Car parks operate in Morrisons Reigate. BY LAW, they are not allowed to charge on a non working day - Christmas and Easter. however, they say they can and they are hounding me for payment despite me giving them evidence of them breaking the law. I suspect the letters are just standard and they expect you to pay as it is easier. Awful, awful company

Greedy and intolerant

Greedy and intolerant. My 94 year old relative had two medical appointments. With a broken ankle and just out of hospital, she was slow and vulnerable . The appointments took longer than expected and the I ran over the time. Blue Badge displayed, appeal declined. Shoddy in the extreme. Park elsewhere if you can.
