Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 559 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently struggled with confusing payment machines and mobile applications that completely failed to work properly, directly resulting in unexpected and heavy parking fines. People also reported that formal appeals were routinely rejected by the administration even when they provided completely valid evidence of payment or permits. Some reviewers were not happy with the excessively high parking costs and poorly maintained locations that frequently flooded or lacked any clear signage. Consumers additionally mentioned that trying to contact customer support or resolve ongoing disputes felt virtually impossible, as aggressive debt collectors were quickly involved in the process.

Shocking camera errors and impossible to contact.

Euro Car Parks issued me an erroneous £100 PCN due to a massive "double dip" ANPR camera failure. My car made two short, separate visits, but their system failed to log my exit and entry, falsely claiming I stayed overnight for over 21 hours.
To make matters worse, they have no functional phone number to speak to a human, completely wasting my valuable working time while I try to sort out their mistake. Absolutely abysmal customer service. Check your cameras properly and fix your broken systems!

Still charged for parking, after following their process. Terrible

Having already added my car registration on their tablet, when I arraved at a pub in guiseley, yorkshire, as advised , I received a parking fine from them, for being in their controlled carpark without ' a valid transaction ', which was not true. I asked for them to recheck their records, but they haven't done this. So had to pay fine. I wouldn't expect to have to screen shot parking validation screen, but will have to in future, as I don't have evidence. Shocking service! 1 is generous.

Paid for Parking, Still Fined – A Completely Unfair Experience- Absolutely appalling experience with…

NO STAR AT ALL

Absolutely appalling experience with Euro Car Parks.

I received a Parking Charge Notice despite having paid for my parking in full. I have clear evidence of payment, including the transaction on my bank statement and proof of the parking session. Rather than properly reviewing the evidence, my appeal was rejected.

To make matters worse, I was directed to appeal through POPLA using a verification code provided by Euro Car Parks. However, by the time I attempted to use the code, it had become invalid or expired. I am now being told that the appeal deadline has passed, despite my efforts to challenge the charge and provide evidence that payment was made.

As a customer, it is extremely frustrating to be pursued for a parking charge when the parking fee was already paid. The process has felt unfair, unhelpful, and unnecessarily stressful.

I would strongly advise anyone using this company to keep copies of all receipts, payment confirmations, correspondence, and bank records. Based on my experience, even clear proof of payment has not been enough to resolve the issue promptly.

In my view, there needs to be stronger government oversight and regulation of private parking operators to ensure consumers are treated fairly and are not penalised when they have complied with the parking requirements and paid the appropriate charges. Experiences such as mine undermine confidence in the private parking enforcement system and highlight the need for greater accountability.

Very disappointing customer service and appeals process.

Went to the Tramway in Cleveleys Lanc

Went to the Tramway in Cleveleys Lanc. We parked up in a disabled spot, we could not get a table so we came out and went to another restaurant. We have received a parking charge for 16min. We went into this place and a massive que to put in a registration number so in the meantime I booked elsewhere and we could not wait for many people booking in. If this rip off firm need to be taken to court for causing stress to a couple of pensioner's. £100 just for trying to book a table is flaming ridiculous. If they want they can try and get this charge off me in the courts. People think this is a fine when it isn't. The owners of this pits of a firm must be multi millionaires and laughing at everybody who uses the car parks that are not theirs but they make money out of them.

Fined despite paying for a ticket.

Parked in the Matilda street car park in Sheffield. Paid £17 to park for the day and displayed my ticket. The machine would not let me enter my registration number, so my reg was not on the ticket, but it was clearly displayed in my windscreen. Got a fine. Contested the fine, proved that I had purchased a ticket. Was then charged a further £20 admin fee.

appalling company

appalling company - parked in their car park above Sainsbury Surbiton - 15 mins over 1 hour limit and given a £85 fine - no notifications to explain car park fees, lifts often not working and dirty making difficult for pensioners like me, stairwell filthy and stinks of piss. Any rain and the car park floods making getting out of the car like walking through a stream - been like this for years. No more Sainsbury for me

Appalling experience

I parked today 23 May 2026 in Walsall and was going to be longer than 90 minutes free period, so I downloaded the park buddy app and log in to my account, however the app could not find ANY locations even when keying in the location number.
I logged on via the website, the location could be found as well as my vehicle registration, however, the payment failed to go though, I think I tried 2 or 3 times.
I call the 0330 number, my phone number is recognised as well as my vehicle registration, I select the time I want to pay for, guess what.....the payment failed.
We wanted to continue shopping but couldn't because of these issues.
I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but for everything to be wrong is crazy.

Greed pure greed

Driven by pure greed. Half an hour over the time I had paid due to a disability, first letter never received first I knew was 2nd letter demanding £85. The appeal went through and POPLA agreed the ticket had been issued correctly and that I should pay the £85! Then an agent told me I had won my appeal. Move on 3 years I kid you not and get a letter from DCBL demanding £155! Having spoken to them I have no choice but to pay £155 wth or I get a CCJ registered against me. I emailed and have spoken to them and literally have no option. ECP NOTHING BUT THIEVES and DCBL shame in them for accepting instructions from thieves. Talk about take from the poor to give to the rich

A disgusting company profiteering from…

A disgusting company profiteering from people making easy mistakes through signage (or lack there of).

It's a dishonest money making racket and everyone involved in the company knows they pray on people just trying to go about their business (in my case taking school kids to a MacDonalds that had no barrier, signage i missed and staff who didn't ask to validate parking).

EuroParks contribution to society is in the negative column and they know it

I cannot rate this company low enough

I cannot rate this company low enough. My gym parking lot is unfortunately a euro car park. I was new to the area and used it for the gym. I have time stamps and proof of this. They say I didn't properly validate. I appealed. They told no. I ignored them because, I didn't need to pay. I had a valid reason for coverage. Well fast forward a year and they've bypassed collections and several threatening letters. It's now up to 300 and its in the courts. How is this strong arming legal? terrible. 0/10

They are scum

They are scum. I paid for parking, and went in to pick up my wife who had just given birth, and when I came out had a ticket. I appealed and they ignored it. They are the lowest of the low, borderline criminal scumbags.

Morrisons food shop + £60(with nothing provided)

Parked in a Morrisons car park that had been for years 3 hours free parking. Even their website just says 3 hours free. Turns out it’s only during store opening time and because I was there 10mins over closing time I was fined £60. Appealed it but these momey hungry greedy leaches still took it. Spoke to the manager of Morrisons after the rejected appeal and he said it’s private property and couldn’t do anything about it.

This company is just a monopoly that squeezes people dry for any minor infraction. It’s only exists to nickel and dime people for daring to stay on its “land”, with the advent of automated cameras they can sit back and rake you for any minor mistake. Customer service is dog also.
