DO NOT USE A EURONET ATM!!

DO NOT USE A EURONET ATM!!! Theives! Stole my son's holiday money. He went to make a cash withdrawal from the ATM in our hotel in Casablanca. As the withdrawal of £150 was processing, the machine then stopped with a message on screen to say, "We are Temporily Out of Use", the cash withdrawal was not given YET our banking ap immediately showed the debit and transaction had been processed. We called the number on the side of the machine and gave the Code for the machine. Was told by the Customer Services person that all he could do was report the faulty machine but we had to take the transaction up with our bank. We have raised a dispute via our bank and have been given the message back that they have contacted Euronet and it could take up to 12 weeks for a response! I then called Euronet again who said they can see the transaction and informed me that it had not been processed and the fault is with out bank. If the transaction had not been processed, then the ATM computer would not have communicated the transaction with my son's bank account! Therefore, the fault and theft lies with Euronet. Scandalous and I shall be taking the matter to a higher financial body. DO NOT USE THEIR ATM's - AVOID !!

Stole 500 DKK, no intention of giving it back

Tried to take out 700 DKK at Copenhagen Central Station through Euronet today. They charged my bank account for 827 DKK and gave me 200 DKK in cash. Customer service says it's not their problem and my bank says I have little chance of getting the stolen money back, leave alone the bureaucracy hassle. I file a police report and hope that at one point this company is banned from Europe.

Euronet ATM scammer frauds

BEWARE! AVOID THEIR ATMs! FEE CHARGED WITHOUT MY CONSENT in Karpacz, Poland, may 2024. FRAUDULENT COMPANY! Don't click "Cash&Balance", they'll charge money (in my case 34 euro cents), for just showing your balance which I didn't want, and and didn't even see!! Even if you cancel the transaction and don't withdraw any money. Apparently you have to click "Other services", but you'll have to pay them an extortionate amount of money anyway. Do NOT use the Euronet ATM scammers!

Never use they.I wish I can give them 0 rating .When I withdraw cash from Italy. The cash dispensing chute closed after the transaction completed. And the ATM screen said temporarily out of service .I didn't get the cash but the money had deducted from my account. When I called them. They told me to contact my card issuer

I intended to withdraw 400 euros from…

I intended to withdraw 400 euros from my US$ account. There was a large fee but then there was
the conversion of dollars to euros. The total fee for
the transaction would be 60 euros!!! I tried to cancel
the transaction but the ``cancel'' button acted like a confirm button and the transaction was finalized before I could do anything.

Scammers

Scammers. Never use it. They Atm are design only to steal your money by dynamic conversion. And if they cannot steal from you beacause your money are already converted, like using Wise or Revolut card they don't give you any money. It only say. (Card is not accepted).

Euronet ATM took my bank card and would…

WARNING ATM MACHINE in NYX Hotel in Warsaw, Poland. Euronet ATM took my bank card and would not return it. I called the company and they said it would take a week to get my bank card. I was in good standings with my bank so there was NO reason for the ATM to take my card, I was told by hotel staff it happened to other people. Thank God I carry a duplicate card for such unexpected problems. But I will never use their ATM again.

I filed a claim with the company and I got back my card after 1 day. Went and picked it up from their office IMPEL in Warsaw so I gave them an extra star.

Scammers

Amazing how this company is legal. They are scammers that will try and make you pay extra when you are using their machines to withdraw money!

Scam artists

Scam artists, they have made cash and balance buttons 1 button so you are charged even if you cancel a transaction and do not withdraw money or view your balance.

Very misleading, I wonder what their next trick will be??

SCAM WARNING - AVOID

I've occasionally used a Euronet ATM to withdraw money and invariably they charge something extra - EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE ANY OF THEIR SERVICES.

It often depends on your bank, but there's usually a charge also if your balance is displayed (often for a mere second).

If the ATM has a button that displays CASH & BALANCE then DO NOT select it. Always select OTHER and choose the amount you want to withdraw. DO NOT check your balance or you will be charged for it.

In the UK, I've noticed that many Euronet or similar "private" ATMs (i.e. not installed by any of the retail banks) will also charge a £2.50 withdrawal fee. You'll usually find these ATMs at airports, pubs, convenience stores or other non-traditional locations. Sometimes, you will get a message first "You will be charged £2.50. Do you still wish to continue?" and then you can cancel.

But not always!

And your bank will usually NOT refund you any of the additional charges made, telling you to complain to Euronet directly (who aren't contactable, of course).

AVOID!
