I withdrew €150 in Amsterdam and it charged me €22 apart from the €3,95 fee. I called the customer service and the man told me they cannot do anything about it.

The most expensive way to withdraw money.
Euronet ATM is a scammer
Euronet ATM is a scammer! I used my debit card to withdraw EUR 200 through a Euronet ATM at Rome Fiumicino Airport on May 28,2023. It didn’t show the exchange rate during the extraction. After done, I found they charged me transaction fee £3.95 Eur and USD 250.08! Their exchange rate is 1USD = 0.8155 Eur. In fact, the rate of the day is 1USD = 0.93Eur!!!
Robbed in Corofin by this company
I'm Corifim, Ireland wh has only one ATM machine. I withdrew 300 Euros from my American credit union. There was an up charge of over 12%. My bill for the 300 euro withdrawal was 379.85 euros. I was shocked this is allowed in the EU or Ireland. First time to be legally robbed at a ATM machine. Plan ahead and withdraw from a bank ATM.
So, I wish I'd seen these reviews before using Euronet.
I went to the ATM at Mandria, Cyprus fruit-shop. I wanted 150Euros and selected 150 from the screen. the charge went through at 154.79 Euros and I accepted the charge, took my money and sighed because there was no receipt available.
When it came through on my statement it had charged me £154.79 as though the exchange rate was 1:1 - which it wasn't. Very unhappy about this and just glad I didn't withdraw more money. My bank can't challenge the transaction because they gave no receipt! Avoid at all costs.
Their ATMs are 100% a predatory scam.
Their ATMs are 100% a predatory scam.
Their unethical company uses “dynamic conversation” to rob unsuspecting tourists out of hard saved vacation money.
Dynamic Conversation is entirely unnecessary when withdrawing money from a credit or bank card. Your institution should convert your money automatically.
Euronet ONLY displays the ATM fee and the normal rate of conversion on the screen then asks if you “agree” to the “dynamic conversion” without displaying the total amount they intend to charge you. They rely on people assuming that the total amount they will be charged is displayed HONESTLY and TRANSPARENTLY on the screen and agree to the conversion. This is how this company scams people out insane amounts of money.
My transaction was for $150 Euro. The ATM displayed a total transaction amount of $167. I agreed. Euronet charged me $187!
I contacted they company. Their literal attitude was “Well, YOU hit agree. Deal with it SUCKER!”
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE CRIMINALS YOUR MONEY!

Scammers
Scammers, avoid at all costs. I can't believe you can actually legally steal money now, which is what they do.
Worse atm I have ever used
Worse atm I have ever used! I used the ATM and the money didn’t come out and when I reached out to them instead of dealing with, they passed on the responsibility to my bank which is nonsense as the issue lies with them. I’m also annoyed that the process can take a very long time to get the money back as there is no reason why they should hold onto it ( it can take up to 120 days) I’ve decided never to use their atms again as I have absolutely no faith in their service.
They took my money
Quite simply they took my money without permission. It may have been by accident. 8 complained to their customer service website and they did not reply. My advice
AVOID THEIR ATMs AT ALL COST

Fraudsters! I took euros from the euro card, they made a conversion into dollars at a very unfavorable rate for me and deducted 235 euros more from the card than I withdrew! On what basis is the conversion if my card is in euro currency?
