nomi has been an essential for us at home
my daughter has been using nomi since birth for 3 years and we absolutely love it! the footrest design, as indicated in the website, really allows her to move freely and makes meal time very pleasant; she could easily sit through for over an hour while standing up to take food placed on the table whenever she wants. i remember once we were dining out and she sat on a highchair without footrest, she told me that her thigh wasn’t very comfortable (pointing at where her legs dang on the edge), so i truly believe that it does make a difference. its big surface area also allows her to climb up and down very easily. at home, she would also drag her nomi to kitchen to help us cook (wash vegi) and be very proud of herself being great help (we are, too!). when we go on long vacation overseas, nomi is amongest one of the essentials that we always bring. we've recommended nomi to many friends and all of them are super happy with their own nomi <3

Thanks Ariel, happy to hear. Unfortunately the toddlers rarely has a say (as they are only 6 months old;-) when it comes to which highchair they prefer. If they could tell, we are sure they would all say Nomi ;-) Luckily we have experts within product safety, ergonomics and nutrition who can speak their cause. And they all come to the same conclusion - Nomi it is :-)

Good product - very high price
I've got Nomi Highchair for a few weeks now and it is very good, happy with it. My only complaint is - the price seems too high for the one piece of wood and a few bits of plastic. I understand that you are paying for the original idea but still, it seems a lot.

We love the Nomi high chair
We love the Nomi high chair. It looks great, is really good quality and works fantastically for our daughter. It was a little tricky to put together (with the harness) but, now that it's done, we couldn't be happier with it.

Evomove has delivered a platinum service, helping me to solve a seating issue I had with my nomi high chair.
On putting together a high chair I bought for my granddaughter 6 months previous, I realised part of it was missing, the seat attachment. But, unfortunately, the shop was now closed. Once I put my predicament to Evomove, the makers of the item, they did not hesitate to help me rectify the problem, within a matter of days.
My granddaughter has now been able to use the high chair at the table and we are all happy with it.

Beautiful but has imperfections.
The Highchair has a great look and my baby is very comfortable in it.
When I put together my highchair, I noticed some imperfections on the spine. It took a long time for the company to work with the store that I had bought it from, and when finally they responded that I would be able to exchange it, I had to open three highchairs in the store to find one with minimal imperfections.
I was unimpressed to pay such a high price for a highchair and then have imperfections on it. Especially when the product is wood, and one slight crack can expand over the years.
I hope that does not happen in this case.

Please resend to info@evomove.com and I will handle the case immediately. Assembling bag content 6 screws, 2 pinbolts and one large allenkey. The 2 other allenkeys is integrated in the footrest, so actually you get 3 tools. The assembling bags are controlled by weight, so this error should not appear.

The form is beautiful overall but I have two main complaints with the function of the chair. I bought this because I tremendously value good design and am dissapointed by the function of these two main components.
1- The tray is a rough surface and so the sticky bowls and plates do not work on it. With a 1 year old this is super frustrating as I want to teach him to use bowls and plates but he is in the phase of throwing everything.
2- The harness gets twisted very easily, the buckle part is very stiff and nearly impossible for someone with arthritis to do, and the slide on connection of the shoulder strap onto the waist strap at the buckle often comes undone as we try to affix it.

Allow us to share a few perspectives in regards to the Trays compliance to suction bowls and the harness buckle.
1. Tray - surface has an anti friction structured surface (Chamilles 30/CH30) as all other parts of the chair of a very specific reason. This surface increases friction, reduces reflections (from sun and artificial light) and hides scratches leaving a soft premium expression, which all counts on the positive sides.
I had the chance to discuss this topic with our Plastic engineer who hold a long trackrecord in premium Silicone and rubber kitchen utensils and components as well.
He says it’s quite simple, besides the fact that Nomi was invented prior to these suction bowls ;-)
A stiff silicone/rubber will not be airtight on uneven surfaces such as our Charmilles 30 (CH30) texture, wooden tables etc. False air will be let in, and eliminate/reduce suction. But the right quality/density of silicone and sufficient surface area can do the job. FYI: the minibowl from EZPZ is fully compliant, according to the manufacturer of it.
2. Highchair Harness hassle.
Agree, room for improvement. The harness is a hassle (as the majority of harness'es is, as toddlers prefer freedom to move, rather than to be strapped up). Basically Nomi is fully compliant to the latest European Safetystandard EN 14988:2017 with the restraint Nomi Mini. The puzzle buckle is not making it easier on the highchair, where it's a very smart solution on the Nomi Baby - with easy access due to the reclined position. We will discuss a smarter solution for the highchair with Nomi's designer Peter Opsvik and his team.
