I love this reptile shop and do not use anywhere else!

Every single staff member here are so lovely, kind and friendly. No matter how many questions I have they always take the time to give me as much information as possible. They are very knowledgeable and I trust what they tell me. The stock they have in is fab with a great range and their animals are clearly well looked after. The loyalty reward card they have is very worthwhile unlike some other store cards. It is quick and easy to build up money to spend with them. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Excellent friendly knowledgeable staff. We bought our first chameleon from them and all the set up, they answered all our questions and recommended the right products nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend them as they are so knowledgable and passionate about what they do 👍

I have purchased from Exotic Pets UK many amphibia, tanks, biome equipment, lighting and other equipment for the safe and humane keeping and breeding of amphibia over many years. I have sought advice on many occasions from Exotic Pets on the safe housing and care of these animals and have always received valuable expert guidance particularly when setting up safe housing for my exotic pets. The advice I receive is always helpful, clear and has allowed me to care for a range of healthy amphibia which I have successfully bred thanks all to Exotic Pets. I consider their advice invaluable and have always followed their expert opinions with great success.

After visiting the shop we came home with a new baby veiled cameleon who we have called sally
The staff were most helpful and they even took the time to ask about our set up for her at home which is good and shows they care about the health and welfare of the animals they sell
As experienced cameleon owners this wasnt an issue as we already had everything we needed and were happy to answer any questions

Even though we live in Derbyshire and the store is quite a drive we wouldnt hesitate to visit again

Always order live food because it always arrives alive unlike other sites I have used in the past have also ordered bearded dragons from them now 2years old arrived in lovely condition will recommend you to anyone who has exotic pets

As someone who lives 20+ miles away from this shop, I always like to go and get supplies from here. They have a great range of UV’s and this is where I buy all of mine from. They have a lot of reptiles and insects in store which are all very well looked after. The staff are very friendly and offer a lot advice. I see many people moaning on reviews about staff pushing to make sure you have correct equipment. As someone who keeps many reptiles, I appreciate the fact they take some ownership in making sure that the livestock they sell is going to good homes with correct setups. Not a lot of pet shops do that unfortunately. My experiences have always been really good even from day 1 when I bought my first ever reptile (red footed tortoise) and all the setup. 15 tortoises, 8 geckos and 10 skinks later I have a nice little collection but it all started at exotic pets.

Hi we have recently lost our old man bearded dragon and have purchased a baby leather back from here and after checking all the correct equipment was in place we bought the baby home to which it is settling nicely and been handled loads would recommend these for great service

this shop is a disgrace agreed to buy some uros one of which they sold us!! Moaned about there health after making us travel 40 miles in sub zero conditions! They said they did not move much when they are used to temps above 120 degrees!! They are back home and healthy now no thanks to exotic pets!! I WOULD NOT GO NEAR THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!

Utter amazing.
They are so helpful here. We brought a gecko and a bearded dragon, she gave us so much help on what our gecko needed, and helped kept cost down. And we're very polite. He have had a bearded dragon that passed away at 10 years old and wanted to get other one so we came to extoic pets. She checked the viv set up to ensure it was OK for the dragon and we were following the needs. Again great service and no judgement. Many thanks again

I purchased two crested geckos for my daughters and found the knowledge, experience and regard for their animals first rate. I found the staff very well trained and helpful. I’ve made several purchases from their website, all received in excellent condition and delivered very quickly. I’ve also recently made the (very long) journey to visit the store, which I’m happy to say is also at a very high standard. It’s a great shop, and I look forward to buying from them again soon. I’d highly recommend Exotic-Pets to anyone without hesitation.

Best around by far very knowledgeable and gives great advice

I recently brought my veiled chameleon and a number of different arachnids from exotic pets, each time I have purchased from this company It has been a swift, easy process. The animals always arrive well packaged and handled with care. Of course I had to share with them some details and pictures of the enclosure which I found to be very responsible as it ensures the future care of the animals, they don't leave you in the dark either they offer as much advice as possible about what you need before your animal arrives and even offers such products in their online store.
Brilliant store, excellent customer service and they really care! Would definitely recommend. =)

I know the staff are experts in the field and the staff are there if I need any support. The equipment is brilliant and I was so grateful for the recommendations of what I needed - I really did need everything! Thank you to Karen and the team.

Good selection of animals, equipment and foods, backed by experienced staff, who ensure the animals well being. I have kept exotics for over 20 years and regularly shop there.

Excellent service, staff most helpful and happy to answer all my questions. I already had the set up which they checked over from photos I provided. I was advised the temps were all good but I myself was concerned about the temps getting cooler through the night. I was told what I had was perfectly suitable and there was no need to purchase anything else unless it was for my own piece of mind. I did purchase a deep heat projector. As of yet my temps haven't dropped low enough at night to need it. Definitely no hard sales for things not needed. Also told to pop in or call if I had any further questions or worries.
