Very easy to use
Very easy to use, helpful advisers in the chat, and quite quick to get through to a final return document. I compared it to my previous US tax returns whilst living abroad prepared by an accountant and it was identical, at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend!

I'm so happy Expatfile exists
I'm so happy Expatfile exists! It speaks the language of international addresses and FBAR forms, breaking down what would otherwise be a bureaucratic headache into a couple hours' work! And for much less than the other generic tax software... I will absolutely be sharing it with all of my friends!!

Worth every penny
Worth every penny for good service and peace of mind. After being widowed, I was really nervous about filing my US taxes from the UK. Expatfile made it simple, idiot-proof and the response time was really impressive! Highly recommended!

I had not heard of expatfile but when i researched it i was very impressed
I had not heard of expatfile but when i found it and studied it i believe it met all my goals to file correctly and quickly. It was also more economical than previous groups i had used for filing
I only had a couple of questions during the completion and had hoped there was an easy way to get an answer by chat or email. Other than that i will continue to recommend and use again next year

Expat tax filing good but annoying
I liked that things were fairly easy to complete, although I found it annoying to have to repeatedly complete the same information about my bank for the FBAR portion. I expected the software would know if I list the same bank name that the address would remain the same, and not do the "look up" again for each account. I also found that the software wanted to list addresses as STREET then NUMBER, which needed to be corrected to NUMBER before STREET numerous times. It was an annoyance.
