Experience Mission Reviews 

From my experience, EM leaves a lot of the responsibility up to the participants, so the trip is kind of what you make of it. If you are a person that needs structure this could be a challenge for you. If you are free flowing and looking for adventure you might enjoy it more.

I believe if you are willing and able to turn every day over to the Lord and let him work through you and around you this trip can have a great impact for the communities you visit and your own life—just don’t expect that impact to come through EM or their resources.

Truly a life changing trip. I am beyond thankful to God and EM for the opportunity to experience it.

I liked the trip. I wish that we had community partners like Hein & Helene that were more invested in our lives and helped set things up.

It is sometimes nerve racking going into an experience that is so different and so new than what you are used to doing. This trip definitely took me out of my comfort zone and into feeling awkward and out of place, but it is in those moments that growth happens. I learned so much about Cuba and how God is working there and also about myself... things to work on and see differently in my own life. I am very grateful that experience missions gives people my age a safe and helpful way to go overseas to see how God is working across the world.

Immersion is amazing experience!! It’s truly life changing. I met some of the best people and had some of the best experiences of my life during this past month.

I wish that there had been more information upfront about the organization and the trip in general, but I enjoyed the time I spent in Cuba with my wonderful team. The Lord taught me a lot, about my weaknesses and failures, and most importantly about His great faithfulness and goodness. It was humbling and difficult, but a good learning experience.

Immersion was a great experience. I learned a lot about myself on this trip. It helped me look at the world through a different lens. I see culture in a completely different way than before. God can do a lot with a small leap of faith.

There aren’t enough words to explain how impactful this trip has been. So I’ll just say that I have been incredible blessed to have this opportunity. My heart is forever changed.

This experience was able to clarify Gods calling on my life and the ministry he wants me to be apart of.

Absolutely life changing experience. The EM staff are great and the way the Lord uses them in the communities they're in is astounding. 10/10 would reccomend

Over the course of six months you learn a lot about yourself. You learn about your flaws as well as your strengths. God has used my experiance with EM Africa to point me in the direction He has planed for me

My six month Africa trip was amazing, it taught me so much and challenged me in a lot of ways, I can't wait to go back to my family at home and share my experience.

Unreal experience! Best decision of my life! I learned so much about my faith and how I can better interact with God. I was lost but now am found and along the way made some lifelong friends and they taught me where I find God the most and how to connect with him. I learned that love overcomes all things and that community and who you surround yourself with influence you more than you can understand. I cannot thank everyone involved in this trip enough for helping me grow in my faith and general outlook of my future! It has been a blessing to be a part of such an amazing opportunity!

Experience Mission does a great job at helping young adults experience life in another culture, which leads to new relationships forming and growth in relationship with God.

So glad I went on this trip! I saw God grow me in so many different ways!

I adored my time on my 2nd 3 month trip to South Africa with IMMERSION! I experienced so many incredible things and met people whose influence will stick with me for the rest of my life.

This was a fantastic event that well beyond my expectations.
