Good car despite some surprises

When we arrived, we had no clear instructions on how to find the parking lot with the ‘Express’ spaces, and when we arrived, we had no answer from the person who was supposed to hand over the car, who was finally late. What's more, we were surprised not to get the car we'd ordered on the internet, and even though we got a better range car, we were never warned beforehand. Nevertheless, we are satisfied with the vehicle we got, which was functional and clean.

Repeat customer

This is the 3rd time we have booked with Express Car Rental at Krakow Airport. We cross the border and use it primarily in Slovakia. They usually have the best prices, flexibility etc and so far we have not had any issues. The first time was the best experience, great car, easy collection at the airport. From there on, the quality of cars and service from the drivers has gone down. This last trip, we were given a 3 year old Dacia, and already it was in a poor state. Scratches don't bother us, but he boot panel didn't fit properly and kept falling out of place making it difficult to carry anything in the boot. One wheel cover was missing, one wheel rim damaged and bent to the point we weren't sure if the tire would actually stay on. The cars seem to be used for car sharing, which would explain the negligence by some of the customers. The cars also come with big advertisement stickers on them, which makes it quite unattractive when renting the car privately for 2 weeks. During drop off, we were told to just park the car and leave the key inside, at which point I insisted that the driver be present to check over the car. I was not willing to be liable for damage by leaving the car in a parking lot since they had blocked a deposit on our credit card. I also found the driver this time a bit abrupt and dismissive, rushing to get out of the airport quickly, I guess to avoid parking charges.

service was great. we could collect and drop the car straight outside the airport. The car drove smooth and we didn't face any issues.

It was really nice to rent a provided car. I didn't expect such quality and functions of rented car.

The people with which I communicated were very nice, polite and patient.

In interior of car I found some little sticky spots near central cup holders.

The car did not match my reservation…

The car did not match my reservation and was in poor technical condition, forcing me to slow down on the highway, which was stressful. I reported the issue to the company, but they ignored me. I do not recommend – terrible customer service.

Recent check-ins with Express Car…

A recent check-in with Express Car Rental was nothing short of a horror story. After a flight delayed by 2 hours (of which I had advised Express), I was told around midnight to go to a car park that was unlit, quite dangerous to access and where the staff was long gone. I had to come back the day after and pay extra fees. I can provide screenshots of the message exchanges to prove my story.
At the last check-in, I got the car with a 2h30 delay with no so much as a warning or an apology.
Adding insult to injury, the staff’s attitude: they show open indifference and zero accountability.

The car was delivered as booked – the driver was waiting on site and attempting to contact us by phone. Unfortunately, without a flight number, we couldn't track the delay, and due to a lack of response, the order was canceled. However, in the morning, the vehicle was prepared for pickup at our auxiliary parking lot at the airport. Due to their size, Class P vans (delivery vehicles) don't fit in the multi-story, covered parking lot, so we always drop them off at the outdoor parking lot.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the…

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Express Rent Car. The van we rented, a Ford Transit, had a serious brake problem, which we believe was the result of poor vehicle maintenance. This issue put all passengers at serious risk, as we had to drive several kilometers without functioning brakes and lost an entire afternoon dealing with the situation.
Instead of providing us with a similar replacement vehicle, the company sent us two cars. This not only made things much less convenient for our group, but also resulted in doubled expenses for parking, tolls, and fuel.
When we contacted the company afterwards, they offered no compensation whatsoever for the dangerous and stressful experience. On the contrary, they overcharged us because one of the vehicles was returned with slightly less fuel.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against renting from Express Rent Car under any circumstances.

But one thing you need to revice when i came to get the car you submit 1300 zeloty on the bill and you asked me to pay while my bill was fully paid then r i refused so you revise and correct the bill

The car was fine but the car return was…

The car was fine but the car return was terrible. I will never choose again your company as the instructions to return were not clear, I almost lose my flight because I needed to return the car a bit earlier bjt the driver arrived late. This way of return is nor appropriate or at least the instructions must be more crear for non polish users.

Great :)

Very happy with the service overall – all the staff were extremely nice and helpful on both pick up & drop off. The only small downside was on arrival, as we had to call and wait about 30 minutes for the car to arrive. Our flight was delayed (even though we had provided the flight number), which may have contributed to the wait. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we were very satisfied.
