I worked with Matt Harper-Penman and Hollie Esaw from Fabrik on my purchase and they were great. They always made themselves available for a call to help answer any questions and make sure I understood the process. I would highly recommend them.

Our experience with Fabrik has been a breath of fresh air, starting with Scott Edgecombe's thoughtful and methodical approach to understanding our needs and goals and continuing with his delivery of timely, relevant and comprehensive recommendations for buy-to-let purchases, not to mention his ongoing advice on market trends and how to position ourselves for success. Following our eventual purchase (now at 3 units), the rest of Fabrik's team did not let us down, with clear communication and conveyancing. We look forward to continuing the relationship with Scott and the team and can recommend them without hesitation to experienced and inexperienced investors alike.

Matt has been excellent the whole way though. Very communicative and always available to answer any question or supply some more information. Took extra time and effort to make sure everything was clearly explained and detailed. Hollie has been great keeping me updated and both helped to follow up with the lawyers every step of the way to make sure things are as smooth as possible. Can’t really say a bad word and recommend them to anyone looking to invest in UK property, especially if you live overseas like I do.

Matt and Hollie have been extremely helpful throughout the whole process of my first B2L. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they have made the process easy to understand and assisted me everytime I have needed it.

I have dealt with IFA's and property promoters previously (I wont name and shame but Ive done 2 off plan property purchases elsewhere and 2 with Fabrik and more in the pipeline) but Fabrik is a breath of fresh air. It's not about getting you signed into any specific deal, it's about long term goals and finding properties that suit those goals. All firms do a fact find, but Matt at Fabrik goes so much further truly understanding us as clients, and the devil is in the detail and no detail is missed. I feel a better relationship with Matt after one year than other advisors (or more accurately sales guys) I have worked with for decades.

Now to the rest of Fabrik. The team and partner firms are equally impressive. Hollie is the person who makes sure all goes smoothly and she is excellent at her job. Lawyers cc Fabrik in on email correspondence and Hollie has often provided answers before I even got to ask the question. A quick phone call from Hollie every time there is some activity makes sure any delays are minimized. Its not often that you build a relationship with the admin staff (usually a central faceless unit based abroad somewhere) but Hollie has managed to do just that.

Also the info received to keep you informed on the new builds is so proactive and tangible. And I am comparing with other leading firms where I have direct experience. You can expect monthly updates from the developers by email as standard newsletters where the onus is on you to find information in between the marketing spin. But with Fabrik you get on site videos whatsapped to your mobile phone with the partners in a hard hat on site pointing out walls, windows, views etc. Its very comforting to actually see progress when you are abroad and buying off plan.

Fabrik also put me in touch with partner firms to create Ltd company structures, tax advice, buy to let mortgages and the process with these partners has been surprisingly efficient and easy too.

To summarise ....Im impressed. Its proactive not pushy. Relationship vs sales. Its what expats need vs what they get sold. Bravo Fabrik team.

As an international investor in the UK property market i was fortunate enough to deal with Mr. Shaz Yaqoob, I really gave him a hard time and he was always happy to answer my calls and queries...
