Very clean clinic, talked me through everything , I was a bit nervous but did not feel anything at all, dr muriell was lovely and also professional, would recommend this clinic and procedure

6 week post op for me with Dr Emran Aliova. Was originally supposed to have Dr serge. I am so happy and pleased with every step of my surgery with faceland and Emran. So friendly, knowledgeable and talked me through each step of the procedure which put me at ease. I didn’t bruise atall which speaks volumes at how much precision and care he takes during the procedure. Couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon, he needs more recognition! He really took his time and I didn’t feel rushed. Quality over quantity and I hope it stays that way with him. 0 pain 0 complications! My results are amazing and they’ve made such a difference to my face! I can finally wear eyeshadow and lashes without my saggy eyelids covering it! My experience with Faceland Amsterdam has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.

To begin with, communication was excellent - right up until the point they received full payment. Prior to that, responses were prompt, clear, and reassuring. However, once the money had been transferred, communication dropped off significantly. It became increasingly difficult to get any response at all, which is incredibly concerning when you are preparing for a medical procedure.

One of the most stressful aspects was the complete lack of clarity around my surgery time. I had been told that I would receive confirmation approximately one week before the scheduled date, which is entirely reasonable given that patients often need to arrange travel and accommodation. In my case, I had to book flights and a hotel without any confirmed appointment time, simply because the clinic would not respond to repeated emails. It was only after I chased them multiple times that I finally received a surgery time - just two days before the procedure. This caused unnecessary stress and raises a serious question: if I hadn’t followed up myself, would they have ever provided the information?

Upon arrival at the clinic, things did not improve. Despite having an appointment, I was left waiting for approximately an hour before being seen. There was no real explanation or apology for the delay, which did not inspire confidence in their organisation or respect for patients’ time.

The procedure itself was also far from reassuring. The surgeon’s manner was surprisingly rough and heavy-handed, even during the initial cleansing stage, which I found uncomfortable and concerning. Throughout the procedure, the surgeon was chatting and laughing with the nurse in Dutch, which made the experience feel unprofessional and somewhat isolating, as I had no idea what was being said. It did not feel like the focus was fully on the patient or the task at hand.

Once the procedure was complete, the surgeon left almost immediately without offering any opportunity to ask questions about aftercare or recovery. This felt abrupt and dismissive, especially considering the importance of proper post-procedure guidance. I was simply handed a very basic aftercare pack with minimal explanation.

When I attempted to ask the receptionist for further clarification, she was unable to answer even basic questions about aftercare. Instead, I was given a phone number to call, effectively pushing the responsibility elsewhere. After undergoing a medical procedure, the last thing a patient should have to do is chase information about their own recovery.

At this stage, the final results of the surgery are still unknown, so I cannot comment on the outcome itself. However, the overall experience - particularly the lack of communication, poor organisation, and unprofessional conduct - has been deeply unsatisfactory.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Faceland Amsterdam to others. The process felt disjointed, stressful, and lacking in patient care, which is not what you expect or deserve when undergoing a medical procedure.

I have had previous blep done in England it didn’t go well so was very apprehensive about having it done again . I can honestly say faceland was excellent from start to finish felt nothing during the procedure no pain afterwards my eyes look so much better even with the stitches and tapes ❤️thankyou very much dr mustafa Mahli

All communication pre post op very clear. Any queries answered efficiently.
Emran Aliova was very pleasant reassuring and professional.
He explained everything clearly and whole experience was very good not painful at all. Only slight discomfort steri strips feeling tight afterwards.

Emram Alivoa my practitioner was amazing. Fantastic communication from start to finish from Faceland. Clinic was clean professional and all staff spoke perfect English.

Had an upper bleph with Dr Murielle 2 days ago and I would highly recommend it. She was very friendly and professional and capable. The clinic was very relaxed and welcoming. The administration/communication leading up to the appointment was a bit frustrating but that was the only small criticism I would have and only because I was travelling from Ireland and needed to book flights, etc.

The experience i was very nervous. But the staff are so king n make you at ease, the surgery was very welcoming and chatty away to make procedure more comfortable. I will be recommending faceland to friends and family

I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks on behalf of everyone involved! My family and I had the privilege of undergoing surgery one after the other. We’re healing well and incredibly happy with the outcome. The entire experience was truly remarkable.

The clinic staff made us feel instantly comfortable and calm as soon as we arrived. The girls were so lovely! The atmosphere itself was incredibly soothing, just what we needed after our flight from the airport. We then met Dr Jort, and he’s simply amazing! He’s the absolute best there is. He’s such a lovely person with a calming presence that makes you feel confident and at ease during your surgery. He thoroughly explains everything beforehand and reassures you throughout the procedure.

I also want to thank the wonderful assistant who helps Dr Jort. I’m so sorry I didn’t ask for your name, but you’re amazing too!

Had upper bleph done by Thomas Ramakers And is a lovely assistant. I was scared nervous and very worried but they both reassured me put me at ease and we’re very patient with me. I’m on day 2 of recovery so a bit swollen as to be expected, but I’m looking forward to the future with my new eyes, 👀 thank you Thomas and that beautiful assistant you both was amazing with me. I can’t thank you enough.

they sent a discount code for a hotel which was a 4 minute walk down the road.

It was so quick if anyone is having doubts about getting upper eyes done here I would say go for it 😊. It was absolutely fine. Thank u faceland

Wow I had upper eye surgery 5/3/26 and was so quick. No pain what so ever, just bruising underneath after a few hours . although my Surgeon Mustaffa said this is normal. I’m so happy with the results and can’t wait for this to be healed to show off . 10 out of 10 for price and treatment and all the after care. Wendy Lee

Had surgery done by dr emran aliova! I would highly recommend as the whole process from start to finish was an amazing experience! Felt at total ease as soon as I spoke with dr aliova. Treatment was pain free also! If I had to do this all over again I would 🫶🏻! The staff are amazing too! The location between recommended hotel and clinic was so easy to get to!

Just the worst experience from dr emran Oliver it was terrible surgery and bad after care as they don’t reply i would definitely not recommend faceland to anyone.

Had an upper blepharoplasty done on the 28th of January by Dr Thomas. Experience was amazing from start to finish, today a month on, I’m perfectly healed.

A million percent recommend Faceland !

Had upper bleph done on 5th Feb 26 with dr Amran Aliova who was standing in for dr Steenan. I have nothing but good to say about the clinic and the procedure itself and results. No pain at all, and a week later removed stitch to uncover amazing results! Extremely neat incision line which is infact barely noticeable. I no everyone is different but I am extremely happy and would highly recommend.

I had a great experience yesterday. Thomas Ramakers was my doctor, and could not have made me feel more at ease than he did. Talked me through the whole procedure, I felt no pain, and im super excited for the end result. Thanks again
