Unannounced Auto-Renewals & Breach of UK Consumer Protection Laws
Be extremely cautious before giving Fantasy Football Hub your payment details.
My subscription was automatically renewed without any prior warning or notification that a charge was coming, there was no clear notice on the original receipt or my account to show that auto-renewal was active.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations, terms regarding recurring charges must be transparent, clear, and prominent. Charging customer accounts without prior renewal reminders directly breaches these fairness requirements.
When the charge hit my card, I immediately requested a full refund under my statutory rights. Over two weeks later, customer support has completely ignored my correspondence.
Because they failed to respond, I have had to lodge a formal chargeback claim through my bank for an unauthorised transaction and report their practices to Citizens Advice / Trading Standards.
Avoid this service at all costs as they are very clearly employing a legally dubious subscription trap.

I cancelled my subscription last year…
I cancelled my subscription last year and it has renewed putting me in debt because the company chose to renew it even after it was cancelled. So far no contact or response from anyone with the company.

Terrible at responding to queries
I’ve had 2 occasions where I needed to contact them over the last few years and have never received a response, despite me being a paying customer.
For my recent issue I had to chat with their 'FFH Chat Assistant', it could not help so said “Let me get you in touch with one of my teammates for further help”. Then I heard nothing despite waiting ages. I decided to leave my email address, but still nothing.
I have been a subscriber on their entry-level package for a few years. This season they have removed some of the features from that one (such as AI teams), meaning I will need to upgrade. But the app is not allowing me to upgrade unless I pay the full amount on top of what I’ve already paid as part of my running subscription.
