My flights from London to Vancouver…

My flights from London to Vancouver were cancelled in 2020 because of covid and I was told a voucher would be valid for future use.
After literally hundreds of emails I managed to secure flights the following summer for the same trip, however Faregeek told me it would not be the direct flight that I originally bought -I would have to stopover in Calgary before travelling on to Vancouver. I didn't want to do this, so said I would just use the portion to go to Calgary and not wait for a connecting flight to Vancouver.
The company are now trying to claim £259 for a change of route even though it was due to them not being willing to uphold the original direct flight which my voucher was for - all I did was not want to use the second flight -this was cheaper for them. They didn’t charge this extra at the time, but today contacted me out of the blue, nearly 6 months after I got home, demanding payment. When I told them I would not be paying a random person calling me over the phone, 6 months after the service was delivered, they said they were going to make sure all airlines block me from flying with them. As funny as it is that this company thinks it holds the power to do this, as only the Government do, others may well have felt bullied into paying the money. Avoid this company at all costs.

I'm still writing for them to contact…

I'm still waiting for them to contact me. My flight kept getting cancelled due to covid19. They charged me £40 and £104 respectively to change the dates.
This time when my flight was cancelled I asked for a refund .and now I hear nothing.
I simply cannot understand how they are allowed to get away with this.
My next step is legal action I am currently taking to my solicitor about this matter.

Zero star for these unprofessional…

Zero star for these unprofessional agents. Booked a ticket for my husband. Want to change and happy to pay the fee but they can’t be reached. Less people are travelling so what is the excuse??? Ignoring emails. I wonder if they are still operating. I plan to review this travel agent on every platform to make sure people don’t even think of approaching them. This is an honest review. STAY AWAY from these crooks. They laught at customers after fooling them. Once your money is taken, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They are not providing a service, they are making money by thieving from people. Each one of them should be arrested. When they read the reviews, they will reply by asking you to contact them so that they can put things right. Don’t fall for it. they are lying. Nothing will be fixed. There is a day when you will pay for your sins. Arghhhhh😡😡😡

If I could give them negative stars I would. I genuinely have never had such bad customer service. I have been on hold for over an hour and a half on multiple occasions - they do not reply to emails even though it says on their website they respond to urgent emails within an hour. Trying to get a refund on a cancelled flight but no response. Terrible company.

Terrible company

Terrible company, I booked a flight with American Airlines and the flight got cancelled. American Airlines were really quick to let me know they had sent my refund back to Faregeek but when I finally contacted Faregeek they denied having received anything. American Airlines confirmed that Faregeek are liars, it's been over a month and these crooks still haven't handed over my money. Trying to complain is impossible they keep you on hold for hours before cutting you off and ignore any emails you send. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!!!! Looks like I've gotta fight them to get my money back the SWINES!!

Unreliable unresponsive swindlers

I booked with faregeek months ago and the flight was canceled due to weather. It was not possible to reschedule the trip. Faregeek still hasn't responded to my requests for a refund. They haven't even bothered to deny that I'm eligible for a refund. I've spoken with people at their call centre who promised a manager would call back, but no manager has. I've sent countless emails about this without getting anything other than an automated response. They seem to know that the cost of suing them is greater than the value of my lost tickets, especially as I am not a domestic client. (I am not an American and don't live in the United States.) I cannot stress enough how frustrating this is, and strongly advise that you don't book with faregeek. I don't know how they're in business.

I have booked through faregeek periodically over the years without any difficulty. My most recent booking, however, went very poorly. My flight to Tampa went without hitch, but when I went to the airport to fly away the airline had no record of me. My flights had been cancelled by faregeek without notification. I called their number and was told that an email had been sent and a call had been made to my cell, but neither was received. The phone agent told me a superviser would call me back within two hours (claiming that he was in a meeting), so I waited at the airport. 4 hours later, there was still no call. When I called again I was told it would be 24 to 48 hours before the superviser would call me back. Needless to say, this was frustrating. I was advised to book another flight, but the prices were four times higher due to booking then at the last minute. (My original booking was done well in advance.) I had little choice, though. It was a full 47 hours before the superviser called, and he would not apologize and said that the contract stated that the flight was not confirmed. He offered a $25 voucher. This was a few weeks ago, and now he will not take my calls or forward contact information for a Senior Manager, and takes days or weeks to respond to my email messages. I cannot stress how negligent they have been towards me.

If I could give customer service 5 star…

If I could give customer service 5 star I would as they were very helpful. Kim deserves a raise! As for the rest, I never got as far as going on my holiday as my flights were changing so much that it got to the point that it was giving me 20 minutes to get from one gate to the other. I would have missed my flight so I had to cancel as I wasn’t fully putting my trust in this company to not mess up my flight flying out and coming home, so I asked to cancel my flight and asked for a refund which Kim in customer services sorted right away, so thank you, Kim :)

I Anil Kumar , emp. I'd 1269, was working with Protocol Solutions Pvt. Ltd. also known as Faregeek located in Noida, U.P. India. I almost 22 months there and my H. R. Manager Deepindee forced me to resign and I resigned on 11th September 2017. But till date I didn't get my FNF amount. I m doing follow up continuously with my H. R. Manager and she always given me excuses. She is just harrassing me and not paying my money since last one year.

The airline I had booked my flights with kept changing my flights for my return. The staff at faregeek were very helpful in the end they got the airline to give me a direct flight back to the Uk after about the 5th change the airline had given me. The kept me informed all the time and could not do enough to help me. I have since booked a flight for my husband with them and they have managed to get a great deal and the same return flight as I have. Thanks all.

Herman

Herman, was really helpful and very clear on explaining the cancellation process.
He stayed with me on the phone through the process. I first called with questions and he made it all easy by explaining and taking time to notated the account. He also gave me time to think and called me back within the timeframe of cancelation to make sure that I didn’t miss out my cancellation.
I really appreciate his service and positive attitude.
