Farmfoods, a Scottish family business, has served Great Britain for over 60 years. From a butcher shop in Aberdeen we have grown to more than 300 stores and four distribution centres nationwide. We work hard to bring you the best value on the food your family enjoys and on the household essentials your family needs. In addition to frozen food we sell groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables along with a range of household items. Across our ranges you will find the brands you know and trust at prices you will love. Our specialism is frozen food and we believe passionately that frozen food is the best solution for most family meals. Our exclusive label chicken, beef, turkey, lamb, pork, fish and vegetables are all as fresh as the day they were frozen and because there is almost zero waste, great value too. We are a family business and our owners work in and lead our business every day. We think, particularly in today’s corporate world, this is a real strength. We are a diverse team of around 4,000 people who share a passion for getting a great job done. Whether they work in a distribution centre, a retail shop or an office, Farmfoods people are trusted to take responsibility for their work and to have control of delivering a great value, simple and friendly operation.

I found mainly their own brands to very good vale for money and overall it makes shopping a surprise.
I had a scanning error and the total was wrong, so I went back to store and was treated very fairly and accurately
Thanks

Used to be Good Value but prices, lack of value for money seem to be gathering pace. Shrinkflation seems to be kicking in, this is Not Helpled by the lack of money off vouchers based on spend, presently only 2 vouchers seem to be available on any of the emails received!! So No different date or individual voucher codes to support multiple purchases within a month etc, lots of the promotional emails don't even include discount code vouchers now, and lover last month same codes repeated so you you might get 1 X £5 off for a £60 spend & 1 X £2 off a £25 spend, so thats it ,NOT as generous as they used to be , seems that now vouchers are resticted that Iceland could be better value !!

On way to Killie, thought I'd shop local in Galston, went to Farmfoods checked for my trolly token and didn't have it, only had 96p in my purse, shop empty, asked if they had a token as i've lost mine and not enough for a £1 and was in for my shopping and I was told no, so on way to Iceland in Killie who if in need provides a token. I need to go back to carrying money 🤬🤣😂. Don't think I will be back though, shame, it was my first experience of this new shop, anyway got to Iceland and they had a stack of tokens at the till and it was handed over with a smile, well done Iceland.

I only recently started shopping at Farmfoods and now visit at least monthly to stock up my freezer.
Fantastic range of frozen foods- lamb, fish, beef, vegetables etc. Delighted with the ice cream flavors.
I regret not discovering this gem of a supermarket sooner. I now highly recommend it to my colleagues, friends and family.

I don't like to leave a bad review for Farmfoods because they sometimes have great deals on short dated crisps, chocolate, biscuits and cheese, which is the main reason I visit. In fact, the short dated Cadbury's stuff is currently superior to other shops because they haven't reduced the pack size or chocolate content yet.
I have to complain about the fresh milk though. I have been tempted to buy this a few times because of the price. Its their own brand and not sold as short dated but it goes off before its sell by date and this has happened regularly; in summer and most recently last week. Milk from larger supermarkets always lasts us beyond sell by dates and the sell by date is also longer. It may be a local problem in Hereford store and would be interesting to know if this is a national problem because they buy dodgy milk or have a logistics problem.

I visited the Horbury Road store in Wakefield and whenever I get served by Paul - he always give the most amazing service, he is the epitome of it. Can’t thank him enough for always brightening my day.

I bought a frozen toffee cheesecake from Farmfoods and it had NO toffee or any topping at all. It was just a sad beige circle, honestly just disappointing.

I love Farmfoods, food is really reasonable, plenty of choice and some great deals, they have built a new one in Cowplain in Waterlooville, I used to shop there but they have employed some young guy that seriously needs to slow down, I used to shop after I finished my night duty at 8am so lovely and quiet, I would go to the till and he would honestly scan it like Aldi, I would still be putting in on checkout and it was piling up other end, then he would ask for money and once you paid he would start scanning others even though you were still packing, just awful, did it a few times and I thought enoughs enough, ive gone back to Asda, sort this member of staff out, spoken to others and they all said the same

Used Farmfoods for a long time and always downloaded their money off coupons. Never had a problem until today, spent over £120.00 and handed over the coupons as usual. Cashier replied sorry we're not honouring online vouchers. Well thanks, I'll go back to Iceland
Unprofessional staff members at Kirkcaldy shop.
Empty shelves
That was second time in this shop and I will not return.

I am warning all possible customers who shop at Farmfoods store about today's truth about what happened to me at Farmfoods on Tong Street. Everyone knows that almost every item in the store says that if you buy two, the price is different, or if you buy three items, the price is the same. I used to be a frequent customer at this grocery store on Tong Street, but from today I will avoid shopping with them. Today I chose two items one was buy two items pay this much for both or one item is £9.99 if you buy two both are £15 but it was a lie, when I noticed I went back to the Farmfoods store and asked for help from a friendly girl when I explained to her she couldn't help me, I asked if I could explain to the manager what she did and called him. He almost blamed me for today's purchase, then he started blaming other customers, allegedly because they mixed up the goods in the refrigerators and the employees didn't do it. The manager didn't show any kindness like the girl before him, but Rafal said that I have to accept that I paid, so it turns out that they are stealing from us customers in the way they do. Who knows what I would rather buy, how many times this happened. The manager was very frivolous and showed no respect for me as a customer, he was rude, and when I pointed out to him that what happened to me today was wrong and I would have to leave feedback to warn other customers, he said, "Do whatever you want." You are all M*fi*a in the shop

I bought farmfoods own quarter pounder beef burgers 8 pack just because I thought they wasn't bad value for a fiver .
My mistake as they were absolutely garbage .
They had no flavour at all or texture once cooked it was like eating a slice of sponge cake which was absolutely bland .
Even if farmfoods were selling this product in there own name for 10 pence a box I would never buy them because they are so disgusting.
Whoever decided that this product was good enough to sell under the farmfoods brand needs to be fired

I will paste over some of the content of my email request, that they have failed to respond to:
"You send emails with the limited time offers on, however, the items are not necessarily in stock. I understand that perhaps demand would be high, however, unless you make the effort to have more stock available, there will not be enough to go round. I have been to the Halesowen store three times to get the offer on the 18 omega fish fingers for 99p. Not once have they been in stock. Furthermore, from the small space allocated for this item, it is clear that stocks would not last five minutes. It's not just time wasted, but also money getting there.
Are you purposely deceiving customers, just to get them through the doors? I might as well just walk up the road to my local Asda, the amount of money it's costing me every time.
Look forward to your reply."
The offer is out of date now.
Perhaps the matter should also be reported to Trading Standards.
