The staff were very friendly and helpful, and although you didn’t have the trousers I wanted in my size they found some other trousers that were even better that I hadn’t noticed. In other shops the sales assistant would just say sorry haven’t got your size. They certainly wouldn’t go to the bother of trying to find something else for me to try - and As a result, I bought two pairs of trousers.

The return process at the shop was…
The return process at the shop was unorthodox were I had to show the sales assistant my bank statement where it says I paid for the items which is bizarre and the first time it happened to me.

Excellent service by the people who work in Fatface. I had to return some items and exchange them with different sizes, they helped me straight away and the new clothes arrived very fast!!

Good Quality Clothes
I love shopping at Fat Face both online and in store. The quality of the clothes is excellent and they are classic so can worn time and time again. Am also pleased that they don’t charge you to return things online which a lot of companies seem to do nowadays.

Not best instore experience
The online experience was fine. I ordered the Annie dress in plum, Size 18, but this was too big, so wanted to Try this in a 16 instead. It was out of stock online, so I took the dress to my local store in Reading, found they had this in a sixteen which was perfect. However my experience went downhill at the till, I asked if I was able to exchange the 18 for the 16 which the lady said was fine however I would need to pay more ??. When I brought the dress online it had an additional 20% off so I paid £28.80 and the shop assistant told me I would need to now pay £36 for the exchange as the promotion had finished. I ended up just getting my money back as did not want to pay more for exactly the same dress in a different size. This was also an issue as she seemed to be having problems refunding through the system, which delayed me getting back from my lunch break. Not the best instore experience !
