Feastbox had a wide selection of dishes available for my delivery date. The box was well packed using environmentally friendly packaging, the produce that needed to be kept cold was packed with an icepack which was still frozen. The instructions were very easy to follow and the food was delicious, looking forward to next week’s delivery!

Very good recipes, easy to follow and really tasty. I have a couple of reservations, the first being the amount of plastic involved, eg three tiny containers of black beans for one meal, and they were really difficult to open, too. FeastBox also require regular orders which would be a faff to keep cancelling when I only want to use them when it is treat time.

I’ve had about 5 or 6 feast boxes since the start of the year. I decided to order to try and learn how to make some new dishes with different types of ingredients. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious and there is a very good selection to choose from. The quality has been very good and although I’ve had a couple of issues I’ve found that their customer services have been quick to respond and have very extremely helpful. I love it when a new feast box arrives and I feel confident that I can now attempt the recipes again myself.

I've tried all the major food box companies , hello fresh , gusto and the like . Feastbox is not the cheapest but the recipes are much tastier. My family are fans!

Veg was rotten and the box was missing key ingredients. I’ve been trying to contact feast box all day for a refund but to no avail.
I am so dissatisfied with this box seeing as I payed so much for it.
So much promise that led no where
Thanks for the reply, I will email you
It’s saying email address invalid
Edit.. The company gave me a full refund so I have added a couple of stars

Purchase a one time feast box as a valentines day meal for delivery on Friday. Was forced to sign up to a subscription service as well as the one time purchase. This fine as I set a reminder to cancel this after my box arrived. The subscription service unknowingly overwrote my delivery date to Mondays (the subscription default). My feast box arrived 4 days early and the food won't last until the weekend. It is also no longer a surprise meal as my wife has seen the content.
Tried to cancel the subscription, but can only pause. Currently trying to get a conformation from customer services that they won't take any more money from my account.
Update - Tried to cook some of the dishes last night to use up the ingredients. Two items are missing and a number of the sauce sachets are unlabelled, making it impossible to know what to use. I think this is very poor for a premium product.

Was kept in touch about my delivery. Excellent restaurant quality food cooked using easy instructions all from my box. I was highly delighted with my Stout reward, which was fantastic - Thank you FeastBox!

We always enjoy our Feastbox, we find the recipes really delicious and worth the effort. Super generous portions too.

Really tasty recipes … nice large cards with cooking instructions. Spicy and tasty just how I like it!!

Easy to follow instructions. Delicious produce and authentic ingredients. My only tiny critisism is that some of the sauces and seasons that came with it, did not match up with the ingredients list as they were subs. I had to figure out which ones they were.

Beautiful presentation of goods. Carefully packaged with clear and concise instructions

Delicious new recipes. Well packaged ingredients and easy to follow instructions. Will order again.

The ingredients are mostly good quality and the menus are delicious. There is the odd quirk in the instructions but this can usually be worked out.
But! The control in the packing department is non-existent. We have had problems/missing items in more than half of our recent orders and tonight is the worst.
We ordered two menus for four people. This was clearly shown on the packing note and seen by the chilled packers but the “dry” area sent ingredients for only two servings for both menus.
A reply to my email to the company at 5.45pm on Friday assured me that they are open Monday to Friday until 6pm. I can expect a reply within 48hours (Wednesday?) Not great service for an offering designed for working folk who will not see the box until hometime.
Things go wrong and it is the recovery that counts. The fresh ingredients will be inedible before I receive a reply. A simple helpline until realistic hours or a list of ingredients that allows you to source missing items when they go missing would help.
There will inevitably be an apology and a voucher but this is meaningless without improvements. We have had too many vouchers and have seen no progress

I've never felt compelled to write a Trustpilot review before but I'm afraid I'm just so disappointed with my whole FeastBox experience. I signed up a month or so ago initially after winning a £100 voucher and I don't think a single order has gone smoothly.
- Every single week there have been missing ingredients. Sometimes these are minor and alternatives are provided which is slightly irritating but OK. Sometimes there is "no alternative offered" and it's been an unusual ingredient quite crucial to the flavour of the whole dish. Since this is really FeastBox's USP it's a bit ridiculous.
- One week the vast majority of ingredients were missing for both meals. Only the meat and fresh veg were provided - which I could easily have bought in the supermarket more cheaply! Every single one of the herbs, spices, sauces and other ingredients were missing. Obviously a packing/ops issue but hard to say how so many things could be missed - the box was half empty. Since the delivery came around 5pm and was supposed to be our dinner that evening, it was very annoying. We were given credit which was fine but I think it would have been better customer service for the missing ingredients to be sent out the next day after such a big mistake as were left with random food that we ended up using for other things.
- Today at 4pm - about an hour before we were planning to cook it - I received an email saying our expected delivery was delayed by a day due to "supply challenges". Again, no dinner for tonight! Could we not have been told sooner? Surely these "supply challenges" were known earlier in the day/week?
Since pricey meal companies like Feastbox are designed for busy people, these problems render the whole thing pretty pointless. We are a family of four and plan our meals for the week based on what we have at home and what we're expecting to be delivered. Additionally, this week my 6 year old son is isolating so it's not easy to just pop out and buy more food at short notice. When we're paying for a service that isn't provided it's annoying enough, but when this also means we have to drop everything and rush to the shops to buy extra food, it's even worse.
As a side note, I'm not too impressed by the packaging situation. Last week's order required 600g of flour, which came in six separate 100g plastic sachets. This felt really unnecessary (along with more time-consuming to open and prepare!). It also included multiple plastic sachets of HP sauce, ketchup etc - the kind you'd get in a chip shop or pub!
I've now cancelled my subscription due to what seem like major operational/supply issues. It's disappointing as the meals we have had have been pretty good but I simply haven't had any of these issues with other meal box companies I've used in the past. I really hope the company can iron out these problems fast as I can't imagine many customers will stick around.

I have had several Feast Boxes over the last year. They have new and interesting recipes and although they are a bit more expensive than other boxes, trying new things has been fun. Unfortunately, they have recently changed ingredient provider and we have had significant issues 2 weeks in a row. We were refunded £15 after the first missing ingredient (6 samosas) which was good but this week we are missing bay leaves and goranguchan paste and 2 ingredients have been replaced with more basic ingredients. This has been really disappointing and we have paused our account.

I am very happy with Feast. The menus are diverse and also are teaching me about cooking methods other than the usual mundane Iranian, Indian etc. I love learning about food from Korea and some of the Persian dishes. I have a very busy job and this has also taken the stress out of cooking and helps me avoid eating unhealthy foods for convenience.
My only very small issues are below
A) courier information to be more precise. The courier comes at all times and I have no idea when he will arrive. My area is not safe to leave packages by the front door as they go missing
B) I am a little worried about the small plastic packaging (for things like sesame seeds, chipotle flakes, almonds. Although small, there a few. Is there no way these items can be packaged more sustainably?
Other thank that, a big thumbs up!!
Tania
