We are a small family business and wanted a professional recovery agency to work with that wouldn’t be to aggressive or unprofessional. Following on from a recommendation, we made contact with federal on some accounts that had been in the pending/unpaid tray for months. Having not worked with a debt recovery agency before, we were hesitant however less than two months later, we are asking ourselves why we didn’t come to federal sooner!! I am disappointed with the service
I am disappointed with the service. After initial prompt contact, I had to follow up about 90% of the time. Tony mentioned sending a letter before action, but didn’t respond to my inquiry about also sending an email. I paid £60, but the results were underwhelming and the letter was not signed. Despite updating Tony and following up twice, I received no response. I am switching to another service as their efforts in international debt collection seem inadequate.

You contacted us seeking help to recover a small sum from the USA. As it was not cost effective for us to provide a full recovery service; to help you, we offered to send a legal notice served on your behalf via express US tracked delivery.
The debtor refused to sign for it however service was executed by way of delivery through a mailbox.
We are sorry that you feel this effort was inadequate however we only tried to assist you with no financial benefit to ourselves considering the actions taken. Unfortunately, this has been to our own detriment on this occasion.

The stress of unpaid invoices was getting me down and my accountant recommended FM to help me.
