I had to return an item to a seller and…

I had to return an item to a seller and they unfortunately decided to use Fed Ex due to it being an international return. So firstly their courier missed me in picking up the parcel so I spoke to him and he said I could drop off to a local drop off point using the existing bar code(which turned out to be false). So after waiting and my parcel not having left Birkingham let alone the UK I complained and Fed Ex told me to check with the drop off point even though they had found my parcel on their tracking system! The drop off point did not have the parcel so assumed it was taken by Fed Ex who deny having any record of it so that's me at a loss for the parcel refund I was expecting, no further response from Fed Ex. Awful and sub par company to deal with. I would never choose to willingly use this so called courier company ever again. If I could give them a zero score I would.

1 star is too many

Every time a store uses FedEx for delivery, my mood drops to zero. They had 50 years to learn how to deliver packages but they didn’t bother to use that time.

Customs person sent parcel back

Customs returned my parcel, claiming I had not responded to their email requesting additional paperwork. However, I had replied to the contact person, Nefeli Laspatzi, and sent all the required documents over a period of 3-4 days. Despite this, I was informed that since I supposedly did not respond, my parcel was being returned. When I tried to email Nefeli Laspatzi again to ask for an explanation and requested to speak to a manager, my messages were ignored. I also filed a complaint online but was only notified that my parcel had been returned. If you have the option, I recommend using a different company.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful . They delivered an empty box . Took a picture of a very bad quality from far away and the box turn on the wrong way to make sure no evidence of the open box can be detected . They registered it as signed when it’s absolutely not . Nobody rang me , text me , or even knocked at the door to insure I couldn’t make a complain . Like how this company can carry on delivering is beyond me .

The final insult regarding my delivery…

The final insult regarding my delivery was on Friday. Having been told on Thursday that it was coming Thursday and then finding out that wasn't true I waitied in Frifay for the anticipated delvery from 8:40-12:40. As expected it didn;t arrive on time so I contacted FedEx and was told it might be late due to traffic, roadworks, etc. But it would definitely arrive before 6pm. I had to leave fro the wekend without the critical item they were delivering which caused all sorts of problems.
When I returned (Sunday evening) it was on the doorstep and had been there since 5pm Friday. It was a 'signed-for' item but of course no one had signed for it.
So ... how can item be a whole day late and THEN another 4 hours late due to 'traffic' etc ... well obviously it can't, so FedEx knew Friday morning it wouldn't arrive at the scheduled time. So the scheduled delivery slot was a lie which made it the third lie in this whole sorry saga.
They also said at one stage they didn't know where their vehicle was which I don't believe for a second. That would be lie number 4.

Shocking customer service — or more accurately, complete lack of customer service.

There appears to be no proper way to escalate a formal complaint. The only option is to raise an online ticket, which either gets ignored completely or receives an automated response that has nothing to do with the issue before the case is immediately closed.

The delivery experience itself was beyond unacceptable. The driver falsely claimed they attempted delivery — I have CCTV footage proving nobody came anywhere near the property. Over the course of several conversations, I was given multiple contradictory excuses:

“The driver definitely came.”
“The driver couldn’t get down the street.”
“The business was closed.”
“The driver went to the wrong property.”

Apparently the driver also managed to return from Southport to the Leyland depot in around 10 minutes, which says everything you need to know.

I was promised a same-day redelivery — that never happened. Four days later, still nothing.

What makes this so frustrating is not that mistakes happen. We’re all human, and delivery issues can occur. It’s the constant dishonesty and conflicting stories. I even asked for GPS tracking data showing where the driver supposedly attempted delivery, only to be told they “can’t provide that,” which I simply do not believe.

At this point, I genuinely suspect the parcel never even left the depot, especially given it was leading into a bank holiday weekend and effort levels appeared minimal at best.

To make matters worse, I repeatedly asked to collect the parcel myself and was told I wasn’t allowed to.

I will now actively avoid purchasing from any retailer that uses this courier, and I strongly recommend others do the same or request an alternative delivery service wherever possible.

I am on Reception at Romney Sands…

I am on Reception at Romney Sands holiday Park - we have regular delivery from fed ex from a well known supplier
The driver is exceptionally rude and dumps all parcels in a busy reception area - he will not deliver to the areas that the distributor send there parcels to and is the worst delivery driver I have ever encountered- on trying to report him just dumping large parcels which cause health and safety issues trying to contact federal express in Maidstone is so hard no one now is accountable and it seems the delivery driver knows this and carry’s on being rude and does not do the job he is expected to do!

Literally the worst delivery company…

Literally the worst delivery company out there, my parcel was due Thursday 21st.
No delivery arrived, their tracking then stated delivery on Friday 22nd, yet again no delivery arrived.
Then there Tracking states delivery Tuesday the 26th.
Friday Evening I received an email saying failed delivery attempt, hmmmm no you didn't attempt to deliver, I am home 99% of the time due to spine problems and 24 hour CCTV which proves you wrong.

I phoned first thing Saturday morning about collecting my parcel, this isn't possible unless there has been a failed delivery attempt, so FedEx which is it, I thought you'd tried to deliver, I think not, just bullsh*t.

So let's see if you deliver on Tuesday 26th or will I be let down again, or maybe more bull in saying failed delivery attempt when I am home...

Awful service for business customer

We use FedEx as a business, they used to be very good but something has changed and i have never had such a bad service from a company. There have been huge delays that are completely within their control to manage. They have been delivering parcels without signatures, leaving precious orders unattended. I am leaving fedex and finding alternative couriers for my shipments.

Absolute waste of space

Absolute waste of space,

I took the day off work as my delivery was due to come today, I waited at home the whole day and with it being a hot day my front room windows were even open. I have a ring doorbell and also have cameras on the house.

The parcel said it was going to be out for delivery between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm I then got a notification at 3:30 pm saying that they had attempted delivery with nobody home with a photo of my parcel inside the van ( I’ve been home the whole day) I then called and managed to speak to somebody who guaranteed that the parcel would still be coming tonight as he has spoke to the driver surprise surprise no parcel has been delivered. I don’t know how the driver can get away with blatant lying about trying to deliver the parcel. What a useless company. The parcel was needed for tomorrow morning for Work.

I was expecting a parcel today but…

I was expecting a parcel today but couldn’t be home. It was simple to update with my delivery instructions. A huge thank you to the driver who delivered my parcel today. He went out of his way to leave the box by my door on the third floor flat. His effort is much appreciated. I was very pleased 🤩

Zero informations.

I wasn't home so they left it somewhere else. Exactly: SOMEWHERE else because now I want to quote the delivery status:
"We were unable to delivery directly to you, so we've placed your package near your address e.g. at reception or with a neighbour."
Good, at least they didn't leave it on the street like other companies. But WHERE? Because "NEAR YOUR ADDRESS" can be many, many places. Especially because they didn't give me the address they left it to, and the signature from whoever collected it is "MAN". I paid for a service, not for playing hide and seek with my package.

Shocking service. Delivered 1 of 2 parcels then told me the wrong address had been sent. 4 days to resolve, then said it would be another 4 days before they could deliver. TERRIBLE !

Fedex did not delivery nor made any attempt

I work from home where I can see my front gate and have a security cam on my gate/letterbox. Fedex said "Customer not available or business closed" - but there was no attempt AT ALL. My security cam and sensor detection did not flag anything at all. Delivery date: 19/5 - kept at the depot for 20/5, 21/5 with absolutely no follow up to even deliver the parcel ie no calling the customer or vendor who contracted with Fedex. Just absolutely disappointing service with no follow up process. Whats the aim? Hope that the customer doesn't make a fuss so you can take the parcels yourselves? How many other items are being lost this way Fedex??

Fedex charged me a £140 additional line…

Fedex charged me a £140 additional line items fee for a £236 parts order after delivery which I am obviously disputing as there was no disclosure or transparency. They stopped responding to my Emails and passed this to their criminal partner, control account. That £140 is in addition to VAT, customs and disbursement. The order contained many items of the same category and they charged me a £5 fee per item. Very unethical and dodgy business practice. For control account, one member of staff was very rude on the phone and said 'OK Shaun' and hung up while I was still speaking. Do not fall for their silly logos and psychological tactics. Stand firm and stand up for what is right. They can not grasp the simple fact that I am willing to pay duty, vat and a sensible disbursement fee which should all in be about £65, not £183.55. All this will be presented to my solicitor or the courts in due course if required.

I will try to never use Fedex again

I will try to never use Fedex again, but sometimes it others who choose their delivery agent,I waited and waited for a parcel I need to receive for a present, then I got an email your package has been delivered, BUT NOT TO ME and honestly trying to get to speak to a human at Fedex is a nightmare,I am still waiting to see how things pan out, UNFORGIVABLE

I now have been on their chat system and again today in various conversations, and I feel that its so so bad, once you get through the barrier to get to speak to a human, they really are not at all............... interested,indeed one of them hung up on me, not good at all

They know were they have delivered to but wont tell me because of the freedom of information ............

Parcel is late, no support

Parcel is late, has been sitting at the local fedex facility for two days and their a.i. support just tells me to wait and refuses to put me through to a human. Rubbish service. I will also be giving the retailer a poor review as they chose to send a package with a courier with a one star rating. Avoid.
