I had an issue with a pen I purchased at a Stationary Festival in Greytown New Zealand. Sara was helping me via email correspondence and within a few emails had organised a replacement pen to be sent to me. Absolutely easy and friendly service. 10/10 would recommend their products and their customer service.

I have long dreamed of the beautiful inks and finally I have a hobby for which I can use them. I must say, the items are quite expensive, but they are worth it. The colors are incredibly beautiful and the fountain pen is so beautifully decorated. The twilight symphonie ink is not just beautiful it´s also water resistant. The delivery is fast!

I purchased 7 items, and the following is my thoughts

1. Shipping Guarantee - Good to have just in case. You never know these days when this will come in handy.

2. 85mL ink FerriTales | 2026 Lunar New Year Special Edition | Eightfold Fortune - Beautiful crimson with gold. Love how the bottle design is. Very appropriate for Chinese New Year.

3. 85mL ink FerriTales | King Midas | Tides of Midas - Love the legible deep blue with the gold. Very good for everyday without the shimmer, and really fancy with the shimmer.

4. 10mL ink Everyday Collection | Bearrington Black - classic black. The size is very portable for everyday use.

5. 20mL ink 2026 Lunar New Year Special Edition | Eightfold Fortune - Love this red. The design is beautiful. The 20mL is a lot more portable than the 85mL.

6. The Carousel Fountain Pen - French Vanilla - beautiful clean white pen body, writes well

I recently received the Ferris Wheel Press Joule fountain pen with a F nib. I have collected a number of FWP inks over the years that I enjoy and rotate through often, but somehow I missed that they began offering fountain pens.

The pen itself is beautiful and very unique - I don’t have anything like it in my large fountain pen collection - but the best part is the writing experience. It’s exceedingly enjoyable. The F nib is juicy while also providing a bit of satisfying feedback. It handles shimmer and sheening inks with no issue. (Keep in mind the nib is more of a western nib vs. Japanese, with the F writing similarly to that of a Pelikan or Lamy F.)

I think the price of the pen is fair based on the materials used and the end product, especially compared to similarly priced steel nib resin pens offered by other companies. (Plus, FWP offers a robust rewards program, which is helpful.)

All in all, I am very impressed and have already picked out the second FWP fountain pen I’ll be adding to my collection (a Bijou this time to change it up). I’ve always appreciated FWP’s commitment to beauty in its various design details and the Joule did not disappoint. Keep it up, FWP!

So happy with my latest order of inks and pens. The orders always arrive intact and packaged great. I’m definitely a collector at this point. Excited to lay down these inks and see what enfolds.

I love Ferris Wheel Press! Most of my inks are from them. I love the packaging of every item I get from them. It’s an experience every time I open a package. I also love their reward system, makes up for the high shipping cost.

The inks are stunning and little works of art and the boxes are beautiful. So much detail in the designs. I have also bought a pen, and it is a joy to write with.
The reason for deducting one star is the shipping cost. My orders are delivered from a fulfilment centre in Yorkshire. I live in Greater Manchester, so my orders are delivered by Royal Mail. A small tracked parcel 48 hours costs £3.50 to send, but I am charged £15.00 for the delivery. That is the cost of a bottle of ink.
I could understand the cost if my products were shipped from Canada, but they are shipped from across the Pennines.

The team replies fast and they are very accommodating as well. Thank you for helping with my orders. Didn’t have any problem about my orders even I received it late. Impressed with how they help your customers.

The inks are beautiful and I'm looking forward to using them on a regular basis.

Logistics – 1/5
My first shipment arrived completely shattered (glass bottles broken). A replacement was sent but never delivered — it reached my city, was assigned to a driver, and then returned without any delivery attempt. Despite the initial failure, the replacement was not expedited, and fragile items were shipped via a low-cost courier during winter, which clearly wasn’t handled well.

Support – 3/5
Support was generally responsive and did reply even late at night and during the holidays, which I appreciate. However, communication lacked clarity for weeks. I waited nearly a month without concrete answers, and key questions (such as why the replacement wasn’t expedited) were never addressed. Eventually, I was given an ultimatum: wait an unlimited amount of time or accept a refund, based on a newly announced suspension of shipments to my region - even though shipping was available when I ordered. Things only moved decisively once I escalated and took a firmer, more formal position. That said, they did issue a full refund and some store credit in the end.

Operations & Communication – 1/5
This was the most frustrating part. There was no proactive communication, no clear plan after the first failure, and important policy changes (like regional shipping suspension) were shared only after multiple issues occurred. I spent a long time waiting with little transparency.

I can’t fairly rate the product itself, as I never received a usable item. I may update this review once I’m actually able to try the inks.

Overall
Very frustrating experience and a long wait without clarity. While the final resolution was fair, the process to get there was exhausting. There’s clear room for improvement in logistics, courier choice, and proactive communication — especially for fragile items and winter shipping.

I love rewards, great packaging, sales and i like being able to save my favorite stuff for later. Also the daily spin is fun. I have just about every bottle that is available for inks now. I missed earlier versions, but I discovered the current inks at the Syracuse Art Store and I bought every one of ferritale collection bottles they had available at the time, so I had a good start before finding the website.

Amazing quality of craftsmanship

I have ordered quite a few inks from Ferris Wheel Press and they are all beautiful. I love the glimmer of shimmer that some of the inks offer. It is always fun when my fountain pens run out of ink and I get to decide what ink to use next. From the quality, customer service and creativity of the brand they are by far my favorite company to order from.

This is my first time diving into more elegant writing and Ferris Wheel Press made the experience phenomenal. From the packaging to the beautiful ink.

My son loves your pens and ink, it was easy to buy Christmas gifts and they got here very quickly. I know he will love his stocking this year.

The ink and pens are exquisite. Shipping was fast, the support team was very friendly and patient, responded promptly, and were very professional. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.

I have the Bijou fountain pen in Whispers of Twilight, and I really enjoy writing with it. It is a full size pen (not one you would throw in your pocket). I also love the weight of the pen; It feels comfortable in your hand and not at all cheap. The ink flow was a little bit skippy at first, maybe because the nib isn't flexible, but it corrects itself pretty quickly and flows nicely.

The pen itself is beautiful too! It has a lacquered finish and a bolt that connects the cap to the body that matches the ink bottles from the same company. The nib is two-toned which is a nice detail. I feel like this pan is definitely pretty in person than in the photos on the website.

Ferris Wheel press has been a great company to deal with. There was an issue with some of my inks arriving broken, and they made it right right away without any hassle.
