Bunch of scammers, had all of us going at it for a year waiting for them to fix the platform after several failed changes. Led us down a road of crack pipe dreams and scammer all of us out of money. Had a lifetime licence which can't even be used anymore. Plugin they provided for wordpress is now pointless and doesn't work. Shame on you

I purchased a lifetime validity license from Festinger, and from this time his service has not been working properly. Its getting the server down issue for several months repeatedly.

When I contacted him for restoring my purchased license (that was removed for server issue), he just ignored my mail over and over for 2 months. Then I submitted my review in Trustpilot, and for this reason he banned my account without restoring it. Also, he replied that for my bad review, this account got banned. LOL.

Instead of fixing the problem, he is focusing on reviews on Trustpilot and trying to get fake reviews so he can scam more!

Do not trust his fake 5-star reviews on Trustpilot. Come on! His service has not been working properly for years.

It's enough. Stop SCAMMING NOW.

I posted my experience with the new and improved Festingervault because I was charged and never received services (login failed). Martin reached out to me, explained the issues with the login, and fixed the issue.

He also offered me 2 free months of services for having the issues I had. I agreed. He also asked I remove a Trust Pilot review since the issues was fixed.

That never happened. I was never given free service. I reached out to the same email address he reached out to me previously, and never heard back.

Now, the website is down and I just got a notification my card was going to be charged.

Bad business. Stay away!

Follow up: I received a request from the platform to provide the site operator with a receipt to show proof of payment to justify the review.

I’ve been a customer since 2020, back when I purchased the lifetime license offer. Over the years, the service has gone through several major changes, including legal issues and multiple complete redesigns of the website and user system. Despite all these disruptions, I always stayed loyal because I trusted that my lifetime license would remain valid.

Recently, my original email address, the one associated with my lifetime license, was permanently deleted. Because of that, it's now impossible for me to access my old account or retrieve the license myself. I contacted support to request a simple license transfer to my new email, and I provided all the proof of purchase they asked for.

Since then, nothing.

I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails over the past month, and not a single one has been answered. Martin, who initially asked me for proof of payment, never replied again after I submitted everything.

For a product sold as a lifetime license, this level of customer service is unacceptable. With all the platform changes and past issues, the least the company could do is honor the commitments made to long-time customers.

At this point, I’m extremely disappointed and cannot recommend the service based on my experience.
However, I am willing to update or revise this review if my issue is finally resolved.

I purchased the VIP lifetime access and now have no access to my account.

After sending several emails for over a week, I now no longer get a response and just being ignored.

I understand problems happen sometimes, but this looks very intentional.

I can't use my paid license, and they are not restoring it. It is a complete scam ( I Now agree). @martin said to contact him but did not solve my problem from the last 2 months. They are putting fake 5-star reviews here. Come on, this website has been completely down for the last several months, and not working properly from last year. How are they using this service?
I had purchased lifetime plan.

They are not restoring my license and also not refunding me.

Money was also deducted from my account which hasn't been refunded

After cancelling my lifetime subscription and prompting me to buy a new one, Festinger is now trying to steal money from my credit card even after i deleted my account that had a lifetime subscription that festinger stole after waiting for them for 6 months for his lawsuit.
Lots of cheaper GPL sites are available, festinger is trying to exit scam

After 2 years they try to charge my cards again and take money. 4 times a day trying. Its smell like big scam. Servises not working, try to charge cards, lie about how hard for them :) just scammers

Festinger has been a helpful resource for all my projects. I'm glad they are back and their new website looks top notch

Used them since 2023 until it went offline last October-ish (where might I add payments kept coming out every month it was down which is highly unprofessional!!!). Renewed again in Feb and cancelled a month or so after. Still having payments go out ever since. Tried cancelling on numerous occasions. Can finally access my account again and it only lists payments until July despite still coming out of my account. From what I understand they have been having on and off issues now for months which I can only assume from what I read is down to using AI agents to work on the site (without testing... really?). Have just been forced to cancel my card and will be disputing the transactions with my bank as I have not received a single communication back from them. I have been more than patient with them giving them the benefit of the doubt but at this point I feel scammed.

Scam site that takes your money and be gone.

I have been waiting for this service to actually work for almost a year now. During this time, it has been nothing but error messages, broken pages, and promises that lead nowhere. I purchased an unlimited plan, but I was able to use it maybe once, and since then, the service has been completely unusable.

I am giving this company one last month to make the website fully functional. If nothing changes, I will demand a full refund of the amount I paid. Otherwise, I will be forced to take legal action. And since I am not the only one in this situation, this will not be a single complaint but a collective one.

At this point, it feels like paying customers are being ignored while the system remains broken. Either fix it immediately or return the money.

I bought a lifetime license for $299, but unfortunately I was never able to use the website normally. There were always bugs – login issues, download problems, critical updates that never really fixed things. After only a month I asked for a refund. I even received confirmation by email that the refund would be processed after a certain case was resolved, but in the end they refused, saying the platform would be online soon.

During this time I received many emails promising a new, better platform “in a few days,” but that never happened. At the moment I cannot even log in to the site, despite my lifetime license.

I share this experience to warn others: there are other GPL websites with better prices, more reliable service, and a wider selection of plugins. My regret is simply that I wasted both money and time here.

Update - 04.10.2025:
After my first review, the site owner tried to flag it as defamatory, but Trustpilot reviewed it and confirmed my review was valid. Shortly after, my “lifetime” license was suspended – I now have no access to the site despite having paid. They do not respond to emails at all.

This only proves my experience even further – instead of fixing the problem, they decided to punish a customer for sharing their honest opinion.

Do not waste your money. I purchased a lifetime license a few months before they got sued by Automattic in 2024, and after waiting over 6 months for their site to be restored, it's now useless. Even after trying to reach out to the owner directly a few times, he simply deleted my messages and ignored me.

There are plenty of other GPL sites which better prices and a larger selection of plugins to choose from. AVOID THIS SITE.

UPDATE 12/11/2025: no response yet from them, they still charging my account and haven't refunded the owed amount. They also banned my account from the website with a message "403: You have been banned from this application. Please contact support if you believe this is an error." TO ANYONE READING, AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ANY COST!! They will scam you, the website will be down half of the year that you pay and there are far better websites. The next thing I am going to do is file a formal complaint with VISA, STRIPE and Authorities.

UPDATE 27/10/2025: they reached out to me and only refunded me 1 month out of SEVEN they owe me. Asked to delete my review and SURPRISE, another charge on my card this month. Don't ever use their service.

Don't get me wrong. I was a customer for a long time, they covered the things that I needed practically fine. Then website was down for some months (because of a lawsuit) and surprise, they charged me all of those (but no worries, I was a loyal customer and did support them). The really bad part was when I wanted to cancel my subscription, it didn't happen, they kept reentering me on a 19,00$ a month plan over and over again. They even charged me 19,00$ twice on May. The "CEO" answered just one of my many mails asking for refund and didn't want to refund me. As of today, support channels cannot be reached. I will really really really warn people to use your card in this site because the have scammed me with some hundreds, support is one of the worts that I have ever seen. Site is unstable but you can find plugins that should work fine, just be aware that they area really good to scam you, use a disposable card.

I will continue to post about them here until they respond and refund me. If you really think you need them, use the service with extreme caution because they are going to scam you, if not, search for another solution.
