Filters aren't standard size - they claim I should've measured better
They have a page claiming they're better than Honeywell. (You'll have to go to the website - I can't link here.)
Then they claim that I should've measured better. Can't record their chat. They won't refund money because outside of 90-day return. Their filters aren't even close in measurement to a standard 16x25x4.
Chat "cuts out" (I'm pretty sure it's a bot); keep asking "if I'm still there" when I've asked several questions -- it's the chat equivalent of "can't hear you driving into a tunnel."
It's a scam. Avoid. We're disputing with our credit card company. Who wants a box of four useless filters?

DO NOT BUY FROM FILTERBUY! Placed order-was never shipped nor received. Ordered replacement, same thing-never shipped nor received. Called Filterbuy directly and their solution was simply cancelling the replacement order. No attempt to correct the problem or retain me as a customer. I got the impression that they don't care.

THESE are NOT sized as you hope
I wish I could give them ZERO stars! THESE are NOT sized as you hope. I bought 4 16 x 20 x 4 and they are not that size, but rather smaller! They do not fit my filter space and keep falling down. What good is a MERV 13 lifter if dust can float around it?
They would not take them back unless I paid postage- for the size of the box it was prohibitive. NEVER AGAIN and I intend to spread the word!!!

Good experience all around
1 - Ordering and fulfillment - excellent. Product went out same day and was delivered next day (I'm just one state away).
2 - Customer service - excellent. Fedex mis-delivered to some place I still don't know where - nothing recognizable in Fedex's photo. Constance researched while I was on the phone, shipped out again within an hour or two, and replacement shipment arrived next day. (This Fedex driver must have had a GPS.)
3 - Size of product. I read the complaints before I ordered. The complaints don't seem valid. First, the actual size is plainly stated. Second, before I ordered I measured one of the 12x12x1 filters I already had (different brand) and IT TOO was 11.75x11.75x0.75, so this seems to be a standard. Maybe not the universal standard, but filters fit the duct opening just fine.

Buyer Beware!
Do not order from this company! The filters that they send are NOT the correct size. They have these made to sub-size specs so if it says 13" it could be 12, 12.5 14...then you get it, does not fit, YOU pay to return the filters, oh but only if you have not taken the plastic off. Sure they will be glad to exchange but you have to pay first for the filter you should have gotten and you have to pay to return the one that does not fit, that is only if you have not taken the plastic off! TERRIBLE COMPANY!

Yikes!
I seem to have the same problem. But my situation is even worse. First it baffles me why you have a size on a filter in big bold font then underneath that have the actual size that is not the size for your unit. After receiving my first order and realizing they were the wrong size they did a reship of a custom size. So the new order was the exact same wrong size they originally sent me. I am currently on my second reshipment and third shipment. Hopefully they get it correct this time. I am starting to miss my Lowes filters already.

Filterbuy.com filters are not true to size. 23 x 20 x 1, is actually 22.5 x 19.5 x 1. The larger size is in LARGE print on website. Smaller size/disclaimer is in small print. They will not replace filters when they don't fit. Been buying for this air handler for 6 years. This is the first company that sent a filter that did not fit and won't make things right. Buy Filtrete instead!

They sent me wrong size filters
They sent me wrong size filters, and refused to cover the return shipping fee. Nothing on the website or during checkout process indicates that the filters are actually smaller than the size provided in the product description. So I wasted $30, and can't even return this, as they don't reply.
And then they just stopped replying to my emails.

Customer Service Refuses to Send Correct Size Filters
Received wrong size filters. Customer service rep said to send back and they would credit my account. But they do NOT pay for shipping and it cost me $40 at UPS to send back, As of a month later I still have NOT received a refund or the correct size filters. Customer service reps have gone dark and do NOT respond despite repeated attempts to solve the problem. I have provided all receipts and tracking numbers. Still NO response. Nada!

Called to let them know that their YouTube ads’ volume is annoying. The ads’ message/narration is also too long, repetitive, and brain-numbing. I was cut off during my (very calm) explanation, which just took the cake. While the service makes good budget and convenience sense, they won’t get my business as this is the final straw.

Avoid Filterbuy. Extremely poor customer service
I’m a Veteran and always attempt to order from US companies. When I first ordered from Filterbuy, I had no issues with a year long subscription of replacement filters. The problem came the second year. The filter did not fit properly. It was sent with a label listing my size over another printed size on the filter itself. It did not fit properly and was getting sucked into the AC vent making a whistling sound. I emailed and called Filterbuy to replace and they asked me to take a picture of the filter with a tape measure. I have used filters for 20 years in this house. Imagine not taking my word for a poor quality product. Finally the rep admitted that they do not custom build their filters to size and took another filter in stock and rebuilt down to my size. They would not send me new filters or refund my money, so I cancelled my auto order and will never buy from them again. Poor quality service. I went to Home Depot and purchased a filter and it worked perfectly. Poor quality service. Poor product. Challenge you when you tell them the product did not fit properly. Avoid as company has changed.

I am not sure what happened to this company.
I am not sure what happened but what was once a desired filter provider has now turned into a has been with high prices and lousy shipping. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks and no filters. I see they are using Fedex which is another company that has gone down hill.

I ordered filters on Sept 24th, 3 weeks later, no refund, no order
I ordered filters on Sept 24th. They made a fexex label the next day. 9 days later, fexex still hadn't received my order. I chatted with a rep. They said my order was, 'Stuck,' in the warehouse. I said to cancel and refund my money. They said they needed 5 business days to refund. It's been 2 weeks. I chatted again this am. One rep closed the chat. The next told me they needed another 2 weeks for a refund and closed the chat. They wanted a month, so I couldn't file with my credit card for the refund. I'm sick of the run around, so I filed for a refund with my credit card.

I recently purchased two 20x225x4 inch…
I recently purchased two 20x225x4 inch air filters Merv 13 which cost me about 50 bucks. They are too narrow and too short to properly fit in true 20x25x4 sized slot in the air conditioning system. Air flow goes all around them rendering them useless. I contacted customer service and they said you can return them, but I have to pay the shippng cost which came out to about $19. What a rip off. Why would they make them undersized and advertise them as 20x25x4. Last time I do business with this company. I am going to make sure as many people as I can are informed.
