As for the navigation system for finding doctors, I found it easy to put in my information and find a doctor near me. The site took a little longer to load nearby areas than it did for the articles, but I am assuming that is because loading Google Maps can strain the site. Overall, it is a competent and useful site that does what it advertises very well.

Easy to ask docs questions

I have health anxiety and am always on the internet searching for symptoms.  I came across findatopdoc and saw they had a free ask a  doctor a question platform.   I have used it a number of times...mostly to put my mind at ease.  Great for anyone to get an answer to a question without driving all the way to the doctor's office.

I found Dr. Mezzafonte on this site and have so far been super impressed with how she has handled my husbands care. I truly believe that he is one of the most skilled interventional cardiologists around- but beyond that I was so impressed with the attention he have us and the time he tol to answer every question in detail. Glad we located him and i absolutely will be passing his information along to family and friends. My only issue is sometimes he is booked a whole out which makes getting an appt challenging - but he is worth the wait.

I went to the website looking for doctors that specialize in ear, nose and throat, due to ongoing sinus issues I was experiencing. Recently purchased a premium profile on their website. I have been pretty diligent about I claiming my listings on other sites as I know that being online is now the new way of medicine- much different from when I started. I have claimed a bunch of profiles on many of the other well know sites but was super impressed by FindaTopDoc by it let me enhance my profile through publishing articles and answering questions. They did mention that they will be contacting me in the future with more products to enhance my page and I think some videos would be a great addition as I would like to start sending these out to patients. Overall very impressed and happy with them.

I am a physician. They called my personal cell phone to try to mail me a plaque. They had my name and office address correct. I never give out my cell phone number and they refused to tell me where they obtained it. They told me that obviously, I had filled out their application and mailed it in. I told them I did not and requested to see the so-called application. They said they did not have access to that information, and the only way they would release it would be by having my attorney mail a request to their legal counsel. If anyone is interested, they gave me this address for their legal counsel: 181 Freeman Ave, Suite C, Islip, NY 11556 (note that is the wrong Zip code; it's actually 11751). I Googled this address and discovered multiple BBB pages of complaints under different companies at the same address (apparently they have changed their name a few times). They tell physicians they have been awarded a plaque, request payment for it, and then charge thousands to the provided credit card without your knowledge.

I love how findatopdoc.com has all of the information I need at my fingertips. The ease of use when paired with location services is fantastic. I am able to enter my insurance and search by specialty, and then read in-depth profiles about each doctor, allowing me to be confident in the providers I choose for my family. The medical library section has some really great articles, making finding the information I need to know so much easier than any website I’ve used in the past. All in all, I’d highly recommend findatopdoc.com for any health research needs!

Thank goodness for findatopdoc.com and the ease of use. My husband had a toe amputated in December of 2020 from his diabetes and he had a follow up in September 2021 after all the physical therapy was done. We just received emails this week that the follow up was cancelled because the doctor no longer takes the insurance we have. Mad dash led us to this site to find a new doctor.
