I lost the first house I chose because it took over 2 weeks for my application to be reviewed by Findigs. Then, on the second house I chose, it took 2 days on average to get a chat response from a Findig rep. Pretty much the worst renting experience I’ve ever had…

The process was simple but it took a while to here back. Not only that but the house I originally applied for was taken off market after I applied 7 days before. I had to start the house looking process completely over. Very frustrating but it work out for the best.

Feels like a total scam. Took my money for application fee but I wasn’t able to see the home in person. How do you rent a house without seeing it?

I felt like this was an invasion of privacy, they don’t need my Social Security number to approve for an apartment. The application fee is BS, just additional revenue.
She is a very thorough and invasive process so I can understand why landlords like it, but it starts us off in an adversarial way, and I felt like I don’t really want to rent that apartment anymore after completing it.

The entire procedure was difficult. The Findigs application portal was clumsy. Often you could not get it to respond. We spent TWO weeks trying to complete an applcation with a coapplicant. Ofcten it would say completed and sdubmiotted whern ity wasn't. We would nmot recommend this portal to anyone.Home Group was fantastic! We loved the homes. But the leases, like everyone else's, contained restrictions and clauses that we did not like. Very restrictive.

These people are scammers who are taking people's money
