way too expensive
way too expensive. subscription is even higher than youtube premium and netflx and amazon put together. no one's going to use this 365 days in a year. so it should be economical. only ways for them to make money off you.
besides the membership, to view other docs you need an extra exclusive and premium buy in. daylight robbery in the name of your ancestors.

Top class, precise, genealogical search tool.
It's a genealogical search tool with excellent UK data. The search tool is precise; the databases are comprehensive and, as far as I can see made up from original data (unlike some competitors). It is not as comprehensive with non-UK data. The search results are not influenced by extraneous information such as users' family trees and this gives confidence in the documentation provided.
The presentation is clear and on the whole it is easy to use.

I like the Findmypast search mechanism
I like the Findmypast search mechanism. It often provides a more targetted search than Another Big subscription service. FMP provides results without the ‘noise’.
The newspaper search often throws up different finds when compared with the British Newspaper Archive.
