Legal advice for a health care professional
The experience was made great by the people working within the actual firm. Mr Bruce and Mr Grainger are true professionals who give calm to the chaos. I never thought I would ever be in a situation where I needed legal advice in relation to my role working within the medical profession but I did. I would totally recommend these true professionals. I felt they understood and cared for me as a person and had sympathy for what I was experiencing. It resulted in the best outcome possible.

Efficient professional and kind
Fiona Bruce and Co have just completed our conveyancing work. However we have been using them since 2009. They are our family solicitors and we always find them professional, honest, efficient and very kind.

We are so pleased that we engaged Fiona Bruce Solicitors in the sale of our property in UK. There were so many queries from the buyer's solicitors and Rachael from Fiona Solicitors answered all of them in consultation with us. As we are based overseas, the time difference is different. They responded to all our emails in a timely manner and pursued till the completion. We highly recommend Fiona Bruce Solicitors -Warrington to act on your behalf if you are purchasing or selling your property. Lawrence & Mano.

Professional and Experienced
Mr Porter made the whole process stress-free, dealing with family, divorce, and finances. His expertise is evident in relation to all areas and made me feel at ease with any questions I had. He came recommended after using another solicitor and I would never look back. If I needed a solicitor again, I would definitely go back to him. He was professional and explained things well. Thank you for all you and your team, including Pauline have done.

Conveyancing for Buying/ Selling
We appointed Fiona Bruce to carry out the conveyancing for our house sale and purchase. Rachael and her Team handled everything between the solicitors & Estate Agents and kept us informed thro'out. We had to provide information, which FB sent out as required. We found the process to be surprisingly stress free (considering the nature of the work involved) & we believe this is because Fiona Bruce & Co were thoroughly professional from the start to the completion. We would highly recommend the Team to anyone needing conveyancing for a sale/ purchase.

Sale of house
We have used Fiona Bruce and her team in the past and had no hesitation in turning to them again when selling a rental property.
Rachael was in charge of our case and she was the most prompt and efficient solicitor anyone could wish for. All our enquiries were dealt with the same day. Our sale was stress free and at all times I felt that we were in very safe hands.
I would always be more than happy to use Fiona Bruce and her team in the future.

Brilliant advisor for settlement agreement
Tim agreed to act as my legal advisor for finalising a settlement agreement on leaving a small start-up where I acted as a director. For the small fee the company was willing to entertain, I assumed it would be enough to cover a rubber-stamping, but Tim was immensely helpful and constantly available for advice for the month-long melodrama we dragged him into. He was extremely courteous and professional in all communications with all parties, and I really appreciated it - I would turn to Tim and Fiona Bruce again in a heart-beat. Thank you Tim!

Review of Leah Knight
This is my second time using Fiona Bruce, I first used them for my home, and then needed their help again early this year with an extremely stressful child arrangement order, I was recommended Leah, straight away I knew I wanted her to represent me, she was extremely welcoming and put things to me clear. She never once gave me false hope, which of course made expectations easier, she answered all my questions clearly and would further explain if I needed it, nothing was too much for her. Her work was great and made me feel confident about it being sent to the other side, I would recommend Leah to anyone who needs her for something similar to what I went through, she made the most stressful thing I’ve ever been through in my life easier, and I can not thank her enough for that. She then went on to recommend a great barrister to me when needed. If I’m ever unfortunate enough to need Leah again, I would not think twice about asking her to represent me again.

The sale of my property
Approached Fiona Bruce to represent me in the sale of my property,I was appointed Rebecca Vart who I found to be most professional, extremely helpful and always responded to my emails when I had any questions.
The who process of the sale went very smoothly and without a hitch which I found reassuring considering how the housing market is at the moment.

Employment Advice - Tim Grainger
Having practiced as a solicitor for many years, I can tell good ones from the mediocre and bad solicitors. Tim Grainger and his colleagues who practice in the employment law department of Fiona Bruce are excellent.
Looking for a specific type of employment lawyer, one who shared my faith, I found Tim via an internet search. I contacted the firm via email and I received a prompt call back from the practice manager, Richard Bruce. From then on my experience of dealing with the firm was incomparable to anything else I have experienced in my professional dealings with many solicitors over a number of years.
It is a given that one should expect professional competence from one’s legal advisor. Whilst this is not what one always experiences, this is definitely what one gets with Tim Grainger. But I, like probably any client, needed more than that: I needed my lawyer to grasp and understand the claim, but also understand me, and empathise with me and my situation. I needed Tim to provide the confidence and assurances that I needed, particularly when there were difficult times in the process. Tim provided all this and achieved an outcome which was acceptable to both parties without the need for court action.
I cannot end my review without relaying the most important aspect of the advice and support that Tim Grainger gave to me during my case. Tim and I share a Christian faith. He and I prayed together at the end of each consultation. Together, we understood and agreed the goals and outcome for the case. The immediate legal and financial outcome and settlement can be quantified and examined, but we won’t know and may never know until eternity, what the spiritual impacts have been and will be. Together as we worked through the claim, Tim and I placed our faith and trust in our LORD and Saviour, seeking His guidance, desiring His name to be glorified. We knew that in all that was occurring, there was a real danger of reputational damage to the institution concerned and individuals within it, damage which might have a detrimental impact upon the Church. Throughout, we worked together to take decisions and courses of action which would not lead to these damaging outcomes. Thankfully, we had a deep confidence that this would not occur. We knew that God would be glorified and that He was working and would continue to work for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
In conclusion, although times were hard, going through it all with Tim by my side was a great blessing and an experience which, over the months, I have shared with others and will continue to share in the future. Thus I strongly endorse and recommend Tim Grainger to anyone who is seeking advice in employment matters.

Zero stars from me!
I must start this review by stating that I have not been represented by this company, I have however had the misfortune of them working for the buyer of my flat and it was a truly dreadful experience!
My long standing tenant approached me mid 2022 to ask if I would be prepared to sell her my flat her to which I said yes.
In November the wheels were put in motion for what I (and my solicitor) considered to be a 'paperwork exercise' that would be completed by Christmas or early in the new year at latest... How wrong we were!
Fionabruce solicitors unbelievably dragged this out for months by firing barrage after barrage of mostly irrelevant queries, they also offered 'advice' to the buyer that was not only incorrect but was absolutely nothing to do with them... Every time we thought that all the boxes were ticked they would re-word some previously answered questions, throw in a few pointless ones for good measure and start the whole pile of nonsense off again!
I was genuinely going to pull out of the sale on several occasions as I couldn't stand the stress but wasn't prepared disappoint the buyer as she was just as frustrated as myself!
Eventually following around two hundred enquiries the sale was completed on the last day of May but I believe that this load of incompetents had kicked the backside out of the sale for five months longer than was reasonably acceptable!
In summary, if I was ever selling a property in the future and Fionabruce Solicitors were representing the buyer I would tell them that unless they switched solicitor they couldn't have the place.

Excellent service!
Excellent service!
Rachel was very efficient! She checked our wills that we wrote ourselves the same day I called & advised us they were not as I had explained. Also we needed something changing with land registry & the time I had emailed the wills over to check she had already looked into the land registry query.
As my partner is terminally ill she
arranged to come to our house to amend.
The following week my partner was admitted to hospital so she came there for us to sign them.
The service we had from Rachel was second to none and would highly recommend Fiona Bruce Solicitors.

Wills and Trusts
My wife and I had our wills drawn up at Fiona Bruce and in doing so amended some documents that related to house and asset ownership ; further we ensured both our children and grand-children were protected with Trusts if these were needed in the event of our early death. These discussions took place over three meetings with Steve Gray and I think every possible future event was fully discussed, clearly explained, and amended if necessary. I cannot fault the service we received and would recommend FB and Steve 100%

Tim at Fiona Bruce took on my case at a…
Tim at Fiona Bruce took on my case at a time where we had lost a lot of hope in winning. He was extremely kind, gracious and kept me in the loop at all times. Communication from him and the team were second to none and it gave me such a boost of confidence to have him working for me (long before we actually ever won the case!). When we did finally win this case of professional negligence, I'd had my confidence restored and can only thank Tim, his team, and everyone at Fiona Bruce for their incredible professionalism and care at an extremely important point of my life.
Their emails sign off with 'Providing a service which so satisfies clients that they want to return to us
time and again and recommend us to friends, neighbours and family': and this for me has been 100% true. I am already recommending Fiona Bruce to friends.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Absolutely recommended!
