Firebrand do it right

Working with firebrand gave a real insight on how your work guides your learning, through the entire apprenticeship I never had a worry about how much time I had to complete anything, I had support in every corner and when I needed feedback it came with structure and care. My mentor Perran was incredible and he cared about every one of us apprentices and our results and in the end I came out with the top mark possible which I couldn't have been happier with.

Very good support

Very good support, guidance and resources were provided by Firebrand and their Mentor, Perran James, both throughout the program and during the EPA preparation, which was very valuable, enabling the achievement of a 'distinction'.
The residential courses and mock exams were also very good to help cement the learning points and process
Apologies, to make it clear, I was the in work mentor and it was my apprentice that achieved the 'distinction'

My apprenticeship experience with Firebrand

My apprenticeship experience (level 4 Network Engineer) with Firebrand was fantastic throughout and I am very satisfied with the support they provided me. My learning mentor Perran was always friendly, helpful, and easy to reach regarding any issue, including; portfolio support/feedback, exam prep (including practical revision labs and example questions), and interview prep (including mock interviews and answer feedback). Overall, I am very satisfied by the program and support provided by Firebrand and would recommend to anyone looking to complete a level 4 Network Engineer qualification.

Level 4 Network Engineer Apprenticeship

Everything about my apprenticeship was very well thought out, from the residential trips to the support I got from Perran all the way up to the EPA. I can't thank Perran enough for his support and expertise. He always made me feel at ease when stressed around the exams, and was excellent at preparing me for all assessments I sat.

Supportive and Great - L4 Network engineer

The support given and getting me to where I needed to be and should be. I enjoyed the journey throughout it all from both ups and downs.

The start had a few hiccups, but it has been a great experience nonetheless and thankful for it.

Everyone involved has helped me achieve my goals both inside and outside of work!

I would recommend Firebrand!

Firebrand gave me the support I needed to exceed my own expectations!

I undertook an apprenticeship with a private company that elected Firebrand as their training provider and I could not be happier with the result. While your end grade is determined by your own efforts, the regular meetings and support made it possible for me to go above and beyond within my apprenticeship and the company. I would like to mention that Perran James, my allocated learning mentor, absolutely put his heart and soul into helping me get my apprenticeship done and dusted and was incredibly understanding of my life circumstances and did his best to assist me throughout my apprenticeship despite this. Just know that if you get Perran as your learning mentor, you'll be in great (and experienced) hands.

Fabulous from start to finish...

The whole experience was fantastic from the outset from staff welcome in the training centre on day 1 to the best Firebrand trainer ever throughout the week! The one team approach made the learning centre a fantastic place to absorb challenging, technical information at a fast pace. The trainer was the best trainer I have ever had who presented a range of course and independent, related course material will accompany me in my daily workplace duties. What a bargain! The fact that the training centre staff were always on hand to support the trainer and the trainees was great to see and experience. I really want to return for my next course asap

Well organized and full of content

Teacher was very patient and prepared. The online experience was positive. The material though is only digital and that can be limiting for studying.

Broad overview, needed pointed guidance

The training provided a broad overview of the subject matter. There was simply too much content for a single day. We were given a false sense of security with the simplicity of the questions posed by the trainer. After completing the training, I intensively studied for 2 weeks. I'm not sure it was worth spending the money on a Trainer.

Training

I felt that the CEGIT training should have been over a longer period. I feel this should be spread over a week or 2. Long days and to tired to study/revise. I also felt pressured to take my exam at the end of the training. It all felt a bit to much.

Lovely surrounding and staff were really friendly and helpful.

Good experience overall

Good experience overall

Teacher was very authentic and personally driven by the topics. Interesting insights were shared throughout the schooling. Accomodation was also nice, good food and spa. Maybe the rooms could've been more tidy.
