I’ve used fireflies for quite some time and now it’s become inextricably linked to my work. Every meeting I have is recorded, and those transcripts coupled with LLM prompting can turn out very high-quality work in incredibly short amounts of time. I have also loved the upload feature and used it for many many media samples to generate transcripts for multiple purposes. Overall, I've found it to be an incredibly reliable and effective tool.

It's a great product. It helps me be more productive and stop information from meetings slipping through the cracks. The AI AskFred feature is powerful, it allows me to query my meeting notes easily and prepare for calls.

Fireflies is super easy to use, very powerful in how it can accurately transcribe the meeting and saves a heap of time with the key actions it pulls from what is discussed. I now honestly don't think about running meetings without it.

I have tried several similar apps and Fireflies has out performed them all! They offer several integrations that allow you to automatically send your Fireflies meeting notes and tasks to Google Drive, Clickup, Google sheets, note apps etc. It has been a huge help in keeping on track with all my meetings and tasks!

Update:
Following my review, Firefiies quickly got in touch and refunded the fee, which was taken post-cancellation.
In recognition, I have adjusted my rating accordingly.

I was recorded by Fireflies AI in a meeting without my consent — even though the person who invited the bot didn’t join the call. The bot still entered and started recording, capturing both my voice and video.

When I contacted Fireflies to request deletion under GDPR, I was met with repeated automated responses instead of a real human. They pushed the responsibility onto the meeting organizer, even though they themselves store the recordings and are legally obligated to handle erasure requests.

This is deeply concerning for anyone who values privacy. Under EU law, recording without consent is unlawful, and yet Fireflies seems to allow their bot to operate without ensuring the account holder is present or that participants have agreed to be recorded.

If you’re in the EU (or anywhere with strict privacy rules), be very careful. Their current setup means you can be recorded without warning, and getting the data deleted is unnecessarily difficult.

Responsive and building a tool better than the rest. I've used a lot of ai notetakers. The others have a lot of bells and whistles you'll never use. This one has tools and apps you can add to customize your reports to fit your business.

Fireflies frees up time I didn't know I had.

I used to listen to call notes and have to summarize it myself.

The fact that it creates action items and assigns it to myself or other individuals is great.

Now if there was a way to integrate it to hubspot to create tasks autmoatically, that would be a life saver!

I absolutely love Fireflies. It has changed my mentoring practice forever. During meetings I can concentrate on my clients while Fireflies takes all the notes, and within seconds of the meeting completing I can send a summary and be on to my next project.

I am a pensioner, and our retirement village recently constituted a management team from the residents. No one was prepared to take minutes, so I agreed to do it! My son had introduced me to Fireflies and suggested I try it - which I did and loved it!! Our meetings are lengthy, and what a joy to arrive home and find a summary of the meeting already on my computer. Not only that, but the summary was accurate with all relevant discussion collated under one heading. I have been complimented on "an excellent set of minutes" by the Chairperson. Particularly useful are the Overview, and Action Items. Thank you so much!!

Gave this a try, now cant live without it. The auto summary and action points from meetings are worth the subscription alone.

Using Fireflies is a game changer.
I can now focus much more on my meeting rather than making sure I note every important thing that was said, decision made, or tasks assigned.

I'm physically disabled and FireFlies AI is a miracle worker in note taking and auto-summary creation along with audio recording for easy playback. It's a very handy application for everyone.

User friendly, customisable AI trackers and analytics, offers great insights and feedback, has become an absolute necessity for my daily work and zoom calls. The only drawback is having to pay for extra AI credits on top of the monthly subscription, they get used fast if you perform a lot of the in-depth analysis like I do and I was not happy to see automated additional charges appearing on my card which I then had to find and turn off.

This company is desperate for money.

Their service is basic.

Their support us shocking. Nowhere to be found.

But they quick to start billing you.

I wanted to try the trial. I forgot to cancel so I contacted them as they charged my account and I wanted a refund as I am not using this service.

They offered me a 0$ refund.

Every other company that this happens with gives a refund.

I see other reviewers have had a similar issue.
