Working with Paul and David at FirstMortgage made for a great process when I was buying my property. The help and expertise they offered meant I had a much better idea of the current market, and was a smooth transaction when it came to purchasing my mortgage.

Steve and Jay was brilliant, they are quicker more knowledgeable than any broker I have ever used! They know the market, they quickly get to know your needs and do what they say they are going to do.

We initially had a meeting with Luke to see what our options were and he found us a better rate than another broker we had been meeting with.

Once we decided to go ahead we were handed over to Meg (and Vicky) to update us through the process. We needed the mortgage quickly so she was excellent at updating us and chasing our application. It got a bit stressful towards the end with pressure being applied from the sellers however she did everything in her power to get the mortgage quicker for us - would recommend firstmortgage to anyone.

The communication is excellent, makes a very stressful time a lot more hassle free. My wife and I were lucky to end up with Ayesha King as our advisor, again very good communication, always kept in the loop with any and all changes in situation. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic experience with First Mortgage, and in particular with Oli, who helped us throughout the entire process.

Oli made what could have been a very stressful process feel completely straightforward and stress-free. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and always happy to answer any questions we had, no matter how big or small. We always felt that he genuinely cared about us and wanted to make sure we were getting the best possible outcome.

His guidance and support made a huge difference, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. We would highly recommend Oli and First Mortgage to anyone looking for a mortgage adviser, and we would absolutely use them again in the future.

First mortgage was recommended by the local estate agent and Iam glad it was . I was contacted by the mortgage advisor quickly and Susanne was brilliant from the start, walked me through everything and most importantly got me my mortgage . Iam greatful to Susanne and Stacey for their help, support and patience. I’d gladly recommend them and first mortgage to anyone.

There should be penalties for these kinds of companies that waste people's time - buyers, sellers, solicitors and so on - three weeks in my case. After the second meeting, they stopped contacting me and answering.

From this horrible experience, I went to pay mortgage advisor and received a completely different service. I was introduced to options I hadn't even heard of at FirstMortgage. 'Problems' with my documents didn't exist there; service was quick and transparent. I could see everything on the screen, and whatever I asked for was done- some things that were refused at FirstMortgage or explained as impossible to do !!!!

Will NEVER, ever go to FirstMortgage again, even if they would pay for it. Avoid them like the plague !!! Unless you and the seller have time to waste

We are still in the process of buying our first house; however, the service and help from all those involved with us has been great. Paula and Michael have helped massively with understanding the process and they have been amazing. I will recommend First Mortgage to anyone, they have been great so far.
