Came in for equipment for my home gym. I didn't have a clue!
Craig was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

Staff very helpful and knowledgeable

Popped into the shop for a look around and to source some hex dumbbells. Luke and Kane were both very knowledgeable and helped me with what I was looking for as well as sourcing a new bar for my home set up.

Super speedy response and cheapest price I could find

Just kitted out my home gym with a new Functional Trainer, Plates and dumbbell set. I was searching for the best deals for weeks and eventually found fitshop. Dale responded to my emails immediately and helped negotiate a great price to ensure I got everything I needed. Dale even price matched where I found things like for like. All round top service.

Avoid at all costs

I paid **£350** to Fitshop in April for an engineer visit and replacement parts for my treadmill after it stopped working.

At the time, I was told the required parts would be back in stock in **May**. Since then, I've had to chase for updates multiple times, and was told parts are due in end of **Jun** I even received an email stating that my order had been dispatched. However, I've now been told that the parts never arrived and are not expected until **mid-August**.

At this point, I have lost confidence that the parts will actually be available then. I have therefore requested a full refund of the £350 I paid, but my requests have been completely ignored.

This level of customer service is unacceptable. I've been left without a working treadmill for months, have received inconsistent information throughout, and am now being ignored when asking for a refund. I would not recommend Fitshop based on my experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced while waiting for your treadmill to be repaired.

As your treadmill was purchased in 2022, it is now outside of its manufacturer's warranty. When you contacted us at the end of January 2026 to report the fault, we gathered the necessary information to diagnose the issue and established that replacement parts would be required. As these parts would need to be fitted during an engineer visit, we provided a quotation for both the required parts and an engineer call-out.

On 6 February, we advised that one of the required parts was out of stock but could be ordered. When you contacted us again on 17 February requesting that an engineer attend before the parts were available, we explained that this was unlikely to resolve the issue and could result in you being liable for the cost of a second engineer visit if the outstanding parts were still required. Our recommendation to wait until all parts had arrived was made purely to avoid unnecessary expense to you.

We appreciate that you contacted us on several occasions between February and April requesting that an engineer attend sooner. However, our advice remained consistent throughout, as sending an engineer without the necessary parts would not have been the most effective or cost-efficient solution.

You are correct that we initially expected the outstanding part to arrive in May. Unfortunately, as our replacement parts are shipped by sea, delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside of our control. While we provided updated estimated arrival dates as new information became available, we fully understand how disappointing these delays have been.

We would also like to clarify that the email sent on 30 April confirmed that we had received your payment and converted your quotation into an order. It also advised that tracking information would be sent once the order had been dispatched. At no point did we confirm that the parts had already been dispatched.

Following your email of 26 June, in which you advised that you would request a refund if the parts could not be supplied before the end of June, we immediately checked the latest shipment information and replied to advise that the expected arrival had moved to the end of August. We have not received a response to that email, so we are unable to progress your request further without your confirmation.

If you no longer wish to proceed with the repair, we are more than happy to cancel the order for the parts and engineer visit and arrange the appropriate refund. We simply ask that you reply to our most recent email confirming that this is how you would like to proceed, and we will action your request as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologise for the delays, which have unfortunately been outside of our direct control, and remain committed to resolving this matter in whichever way you decide to proceed.
