Great alarm installation, service is lacking
Alarm installation was fine but service really failed us when the connection to the internet went down. The company blamed our Wifi, which was working perfectly. Despite signed up to a maintenance contract no one was available outside office hours, then no one was able to come and see us on a Saturday afternoon (we travel a lot, we were not at home during office hours). After weeks of to-ing and fro-ing we realised all we needed was instructions over the phone on how to change the SIM card, but even this proved too much - the engineer said he'd call, but our phone never rang. We've moved to another provider. Disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to review our services and providing additional information so we could investigate this further for you. We reviewed all our previous communications with you.
Your burglar alarm system order was placed on December 2017 and was initially booked for installation the following Saturday. You had to cancel the appointments twice and it was finally fitted in March 2018. Our notes suggest your partner had to leave midway through the installation and the engineer had to do the external siren installation after she left and program the system remotely after that. You supplied the sim card for your alarm system at the time of fitting.
We had serviced the alarm in April 2019, as part of your ongoing maintenance plan and your service notes suggest you were very happy with the service.
You reported the problem with internet connectivity on 14.08.2019 by email and our email communications show you lived abroad and couldn’t be in the property till very late on weekend, so we gave instructions to you over email to identify what the error is and identified it as the GSM failure – due to your sim card (supplied by you) not working. We established on 15th that you did not know who your sim card provider was or how you topped it up in the past. A few emails later, you requested an engineer visit on 27th August to change the sim card for you and we agreed to do this. You could not get back to the country till later in the afternoon on Saturday 31st and requested an engineer visit after 3 pm. As we couldn’t get someone out on that late on Saturday, we instead agreed to have an engineer available to help you remotely with this.
We reviewed the calls and emails on last Saturday and we can see, you contacted us on Saturday after 4 pm and having identified it was fully taken apart, rather than just the front part to replace the sim card, we had our specialist engineer call you back, and his records show he called you on both the numbers we had one file, one was not connecting and on the other number, he called 3 times and left one voice message. While we investigated this review, we did notice you had called us on Saturday from an international number – which we do not have in the file. Subsequently, you asked us to cancel your ongoing support so you can a different provider.
We agree we couldn’t send an engineer out at the outside hours you requested even if it was to deal with a problem not covered under your service. Having said that, our relationship with you was excellent, and everyone in our office and field team who had dealings with you only had the nicest things to say about you and your partner. We are sorry we haven’t managed to help you to your satisfaction last Saturday as you wanted. Please do let us know if you there is anything else, we could do to help you with.

We had a great experience using FHA. Abhi came to do a site survey and was back again within 48hrs to carry out the installation.
He was friendly, knowledgeable, tidy and professional. He even entertained our eldest son when he wanted to see what Abhi was doing. A true gent.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Exceptional service

George was excellent with fitting our alarm for us. We had purchased the Yale SR340 from Costco and used Fitted Home Alarms to fit it for us. Friendly, efficient service. George was patient and answered all our questions and suggested the best options suited to us. Will definitely use again. They also maintain and service alarms so will use them in the future for that as well.

A very professional friendly Company
