I used to love fiverr

Several years back I started using fiverr because I live in a rural area and finding local creative talent was difficult. This week I went online and ordered a service. I paid the asking price, they added a huge fee. $2.75 on a $50. Next came the absolute chaos. There is an inbox, a task box, a messenger box, and 27 other places where messages between buyers and sellers can go and NONE OF THEM ARE CONNECTED - NONE OF THEM. I almost lost my mind. Sometimes communication was in one place then another then on my phone but not on the site. My Doer did a great job so I tipped $10, another fee $2.55 - on a $10 charge is ridiculous. I won't be back fivver.

I have been with Fiverr for years

I have been with Fiverr for years. Everything is good as long as you don't have a dispute with the gig seller. I cancelled the job because what I asked for was not delivered. You will receive a standard email explaining they understand your concerns and will do everything to help you. No-one will speak to you. It is between you and the contractor. If the gig / seller refuses to agree to the cancellation, it will not be cancelled. I was offered a bribe to settle by the gig / seller, as shut-up money. "if you don't say anything, then I won't say anything". But he did not deliver on what I specifically asked for. He told me that Fiverr will not get involved.. "unless we come to an agreement, they will not get involved" - is what he advised me. It was over the Christmas break and he did not deliver the job that I asked him to do. I took a few days off, but I was regularly engaging with the seller and raising additional complaints with Fiverr. Because I took a few days off, they used this as an excuse to close the job, because they said I did not respond in their timeframe. The seller refused to fix the job and he was paid by Fiverr for successfully completing the job. I have cancelled my account. I cannot deal with these companies who give you automated messages and refuse to arbitrate when there is a problem. I had a 1 hour discussion with the gig / seller before the job and he was based in the UK, so he spoke perfect English. He just took the quick way out and delivered me a file that was locked (un-editable). He also used my newsletters and my material and did not deliver any new material, which I asked him to do.

Got scammed contacted fiver but fiver replys showing they only care about the cash cows that are the sellers. Why ban a scammer and only get a fraction of the purchases from a buyer when you can have a seller raking in cash for them. Dont trust fiver you've been warned.

Went well for a few months

Went well for a few months, then went to nothing.

I first used Fiverr to buy a service, where someone drew 2 images for me. That was great.

I then opened up my own seller page, and had some orders on 2 different gigs I was offering. I was getting solid 5 stars. However, when you aren't getting any stars for a while, and ONE GUY gives you 4/5, 4/5 and 5/5, it averages at 4.3, which is lower than 4.7, and Fiverr will stop showing you to people.

That is such a fragile life and death business to run.

Fiverr also takes 20% of your offer. That's quite steep.

Fiver is scam with worst customer service that only reply with auto massage let me start my story I worked hard for 2 year got to level one earning was. Finally getting stable then a verification pop-up I verify using my gov I'd and selfie then all stop and account got disabled the reason I was using multiple accounts but never in life of 2 year I have make another account thier crawler scan ip if I am in shared network it will assume that I am using two account they treat seller unfairly always take buyer side even if seller got scam I am sick of thier misconduct they take 20℅ fee for thier service never reduce it for example. If buyer want to put order of 100 he has to pay 120 and seller will get 80 40$ rip off from both okay you can charge seller but why buyer upfront fee should be 105 or 110 most why 120 he is buying our service if you want to safe both payment for seller and buyer make a safe wallet where it will store and can be refund and pay for service in the end fiverr i thought I found my place in fiverr if fiverr cannot give chance to seller who's like worker to them it the worst organization to work with then I have read thousands of seller getting ban without the awareness losing confidence and time they spend to make it where then were all I have to say to fiverr rather strict your tos be in the same shoe 👞 as the seller like how he hard he has work how can he has all positive reviews he response quickly he satisfied the buyer he always delivery on time he doesn't have warning maybe if he has done something wrong we should warn him tell him his mistake help him to correct it so he can continue his great service if he is not doing something very wrong we will give him warning and tell him stop or you will ban if he. Was not aware that what he has did was wrong then will help him to point out correct it

First time I tried Fiverr I got scammed…

First time I tried Fiverr I got scammed from one seller who was promoting his services using other artists materiel. After contacting Fiver, they told me that they have suspended the seller account while actually he was only invisible from my account. That scammer was still able to scam.
Now I received an email from fiver telling me that my account is permanently suspended for providing false information?? absolutely crazy!! I used my google account to connect, had my bank card linked, everything was correct but I guess from a company like Fiver it should not surprise me. This company is really really unprofessional! I'm even not able to check my balance and get my money back. Their email says "it can't be reversed. it is useless to contact the customer service". really stay away from Fiver. Their rate from trust pilot doesn't come from nowhere. keep your money safe

where to start i have used fiver for a fee job 2 was just an awful experience and Fiverr support was very very unhelpful a seller made a automated blog for me said it will be AdSense approved is it was rejected for weeks i have been trying to get the seller to fix the seller kept giving excuses to fix he kept saying he will fix soon the next day etc then contacted fiverr explained everything and provided all the proof they said they can contact the seller on my behalf i refused and said the seller should always reply to the buyer if the seller is only going to reply because fiverr told them to that's not a good seller i removed the website as it was no good fiverr now Stated this: hank you for the reply.

then i had an issue with an app the seller did not fix all the issues he said had to find out the app had issues after is was on google play store and after doing research the seller gave incorrect information contacted fiverr and they said the seller was willing to fix that's correct but the seller is giving wrong information and i have to keep going back and forth pointing out all the sellers mistakes and things he did not do and now fiver said the same thing: hank you for the reply.

Fiverr management is scammer too.

Not only sellers fiverr managers also are scammers. Our open source project and youtube videos are sold on fiverr and we reported to fiverr they said this:

"We wanted to let you know that the Gig you’ve submitted for review was found legitimate, and therefore was not removed from the marketplace."

So they clearly know a seller is selling someone elses creation and they find this "legimate"

Scam after Scam after SCAM.

Of the three times I've used this website, only one was a legit service that was provided. I reported the second scam to Fiverr but it seems like they didn't do anything because the scam is still there providing services to customers who would easily fall for it. The third scam was a T-Shirt design service that could easily be accessed on another website for free. I didn't bother to report that one because I didn't deem it worth my time when Fiverr did nothing about the first one. I'm immensly dissapointed that this stupid company hasn't done anything to prevent scammers from easily exploiting customers and that so many fake reviews are being posted to make it seem like many of the people providing the services are legit. I would highly recommend staying away from this website. Or If you plan to risk it... become a seller, offer a legit service to your customers and DO not scam them. If your a buyer, be VERY careful about the reviews and be very careful about the pricing of the service. If the reviews looks too good to be true, if the pricing looks to good to be true, or if the service looks too good to be true, STAY AWAY.

I did more than 600 successful orders and Fiverr closed my account

I did more than 600 successful orders; I had a 5.0 score and generated more than $40000 on Fiverr for less than a year. One buyer accused me of plagiarism, and I reported the buyer to customer support. The customer support didn't protect me but instead found a sluggish solution; it closed my account permanently and banned me for life from Fiverr.

Fiverr customer support is very unprofessional and lazy. They always send you automatic replies and don't bother to investigate a case; they just closed the account. I have evaluated my article many times, and it does not have any form of plagiarism; it has some references. But since the customer support does not understand what references are, they just closed the account, and they don't bother to explain why and on what grounds.

Fiverr is a bloodsucking platform for freelancers. Avoid spending time on this platform because they will always protect the buyer even if you are completely right.

FIVERR GIVE MY MONEY THAT I PUT IN FROM PAYPAL

I am a buyer they locked my account and stole my £80 because a seller asked me to pay her via bank. I didn't think this was an issue as the seller asked me to pay her via bank. Fiverr give my money back which I put in the account its over 3 months now??? You didn't even ask why I did this or gave me one chance you just sent this:

Your account was flagged for trying to conduct business outside of our platform. We consider this a violation of our Terms of Service and our policies. As a result, your Fiverr account was permanently disabled.

Due to your account being disabled, you cannot log in or withdraw any funds you may have.
If you have any funds available for withdrawal 90 days from now, you will get an email with instructions explaining how to withdraw.
This email will be sent automatically and there is no need to contact customer support.

I didn't try to do anything you seller gave her number to me on Fiverr and demanded that I pay her Bank for a sample lesson. I didn't try to conduct business outside of your platform it was your seller who demanded I pay her £6 like this for a sample lesson which she first said would be free. The way you treated me as a Buyer is disgusting you didn't even ask me why this happened just an email saying we got your money don't message us will send you money after 3 months where is my money???

Fiverr allows false charge-backs resulting in $2.800 loss.

Fiverr allowed a customer to do false charge-backs. The customer took 5 services of me, left me 5 x a 5-star review and left me 2 tips. When the customer did a false charge-back of $2.800,-, Fiverr first contacted me that I was protected against False chargebacks and than still allowed it. After filing a complaint, they showed me that they are actually not reponsible for anything that happens, they are just a middle man. I also contacted local autorities in Israel, but they could not help me because they tell me I have been scammed by one of the sellers on Fiverrs platform and not Fiverr them selves. Fiverr has just misinformed me that they protected me against false chargebacks and they still allowed it.

If anyone is able to give me a helping hand, please respond to this review. I have everything documented and prepared a case.

Un Experience Dealing with Accounts

Un professional people are dealing with the accounts, PLEASE Don't trust on there policies, because they were made from unprofessional people, They made my account restricted 2 months ago, i pur them alot of messages but no response,I was on Level 1 by working hard day and Night. Problem is ony of my Client send me work i did work, he approved my work and Give 5 star Rating with outstanding review, but after 3 days past he put a message in inbox that the work was done accurate so on. Fiver consider the message not look that order was already delivered, if any one come and text in inbox, they will block the Account.

Very pad Experience, very bad site for earning.
