Useless communication
Useless communication. Over 5months to get my car back. It took 6 weeks before Fix Auto even collected my car. I then had to keep chasing them for updates without being told the correct information, until one person took ownership and started to actually communicate with me. The courtesy car provided was useless and made me unwell. I would definitely not recommend using FixAuto.

We regret to hear about the extensive delay you experienced. but i do think a 1 star review is unfair given the horrendous parts back orders we encountered from the day your car came on site, your car then developed an unrelated engine fault that was eventually caried out under manufacturers warranty, Vauxhall had your car for months as they were also waiting for parts, when your car was finished there was a delay in retrieving your excess. I believe that our communication logs show you were adequately kept informed, I think your delayed repairs maybe the cause of your frustration but I don't think we are to blame. We'll review your case to improve our service.

Really impressed by how quick and easy this process was. My car was collected from me and curtesy car delivered. Told the repairs could take up to 3 weeks or so but had my car back within 2 weeks looking brand new and sparkly clean! Thank you

Terrible communication
Actual repair was fine but extremely difficult to get a status update (phone calls never answered), poor courtesy car, slow service (3 weeks!) and terrible customer service upon drop off demanding excess payment at door with no prior notice given regarding this payment.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. whilst I'm pleased your actual repair was fine, We're sorry to hear about the difficulties in getting updates, we had similar problems to book your car in so maybe there is a network issue there, I appreciate your repairs took longer than hoped and the courtesy car was not as big as your Nissan Qashqai, we normally explain all excess payments at first contact so there are no unexpected payment request, if you were unaware that you had an excess then we apologise. We'll review these issues to improve our service.

My experience with Fix Auto UK was a positive one. I was kept up to date all through the repair.
The repair seemed to take a long time but there was a lot of work to do and the repairs were all done to a high standard.
We were supplied with a sweet little courtesy car whilst the repair was ongoing.

We appreciate your feedback and regret the time estimation issue. i have reviewed this and i can see that your car had extra damage on stripping which meant we had to order more parts. i can see we kept you informed of this but maybe we could have explained that this can happen prior to your car coming to site, i see you thought we would only have it for one day, typically repairs take 7 days (on average) i do think the "amazing service" would have taken us off of the 1 star mark though.
