See the Causeway Coast, the Glens of Donegal or the Sperrin Mountains and never meet another vehicle. Join us for an off-road adventure with lots of bumps and boggy squelching as our 4x4s follow the bouncing trail of hares and the agile path of mountain sheep to see some of Ireland’s wildest places. Book now to find your way to untouched beaches, ancient beauty and secret sanctuaries. Don’t forget your duncher (that’s a flat cap)—or your wellies! Let us know whether you want to explore the craggy coastline of North Antrim, the majestic glens of Donegal or the unspoiled beauty of the Sperrin Mountains. Whichever route you choose, your party will be treated to off-road rollicking as we take on countryside that is strange to everything but sheep. Stop to track wildlife, photograph bog cotton and smell the country air. Watch the birdlife—or play in the waves. Enjoy family fun or time with friends as you make memories in the wild. Our routes follow special ordnance survey trails which we have plotted and planned. You won’t see any vehicle other than our Land Rover as we bump and bounce through bog land on our way to some of our island’s most secret beauty spots. We hope to see you soon!

I recently went on a self drive 4x4…
I recently went on a self drive 4x4 off-road adventure in Donegal and had an amazing time! Our guide, Adam, was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and he made sure that we had a safe and enjoyable trip.
We drove through some of the most beautiful scenery in that was impossible to see without going off-road, Adam had years of knowledge built up in the area that would be impossible to find without him. We learned about the history of the area and importantly, the people; these stories can easily become forgotten.
We explored old railway lines, forgotten turf mountains, beaches and more!
We finished our day by camping in a hidden spot on the sand. Adam cooked us a delicious dinner over the campfire, and we told stories and laughed late into the night. We left no trace of where we had explored this stunning part of the world due to Adam's care for the environment and values.
I had an absolutely fantastic time on our 4x4 off-road adventure in Donegal, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, I highly recommend a 4x4 off-road trip with Adam as your guide. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent all round and Adam is truly a great tour guide
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an off road 4x4 tour with this fantastic tour service and I must say, it was one of the most exhilarating and enjoyable experiences I've ever had.
From start to finish, the tour was well organized, informative and most importantly, lots of fun. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its history, and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. He made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire journey, ensuring that we were always aware of what was happening and what to expect.
The off road 4x4 tour itself was incredible. We drove through some of the most stunning and rugged landscapes I've ever seen, and the thrill of conquering challenging terrain was unforgettable. The vehicles were top of the range, fully equipped and well maintained, making the ride smooth and comfortable.
The tour also provided us with ample opportunities to take some breathtaking photos and take in the stunning views of the area. We even spotted some wildlife along the way, adding to the already incredible experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend this off road 4x4 tour service to anyone looking for an adventure-filled, educational and unforgettable experience. The professionalism, expertise and passion of the team truly made this tour one of the highlights of my life. Don't hesitate to book your next adventure with them!

Wonderful off the beaten path experience
I had such an amazing experience with Adam. His personality is perfect for this type of adventure. He is down to Earth, very positive and easy to converse with. He doesn't talk your ear off the whole time which I find to be wonderful. He loves what he does and it shows.
We had a family girls' trip and we hired Adam to take us from Belfast to Bushmills one day, and a couple of days later to Donegal Town. We left it up to him and his knowledge of the area to show us some unique and beautiful places, and he absolutely delivered. We could not have replicated this trip on our own and would not have gotten this on some other tour. Well worth it in every respect. I highly recommend Adam and his company. We will be back with our husbands and will hire Adam for some more adventures. Thank you so much for such an incredible experience!! Sincerely, Mary Nelle
Great Place
Fun, adventure, great places, and good people. Few words describing Adam and folks. Keep up with the good work.
They drive illegally on beaches in County Donegal.. AVOID.
They drive illegally on beaches, drive through dune systems and enter areas which are protected areas of special scientific interest.
We have had so many complaints about them. We are working with the local council and PSNI to see what can be done to discourage their blatant disregard for our beautiful country.
Adam makes many claims about life long friends in his responses to reviews below. Let me copy and paste what Adam done to his friend who setup a group in NI/Ireland, and because they do not charge, Adam went crazy. Adam, FYI, has no permission to drive on any lanes in Donegal, its illegal to drive on any beach other than Downings and Rossnowlagh. QUOTE from Adam Stewart.
"If your (sic) taking my competitors out on runs. Destroying relationships with local people and generally being an a^sehole. Your (sic) not my friend and further than that your (sic) no longer my customer"
He then kicked and blocked said lifelong friend because he was not interested in charging local people for driving around land which neither of them own. Adam has been driving in the dune systems at Benone Beach, an area of scientific interest, a bird reserve. Not to mention the families and kids who play and camp in them who could be killed as they charge over at night. They have lost multiple admins over the last year as they all fall out with Adam over his psychotic ways. It is such a shame, he comes across as reasonable enough when he thinks he can turn a coin from you, but once the mask slips, he shows his true colours in spectacular fashion.
Adam has fell out with a huge number of people over his arrogant and self entitled ways., Not only that, but he has been lying relentlessly on social media. The good news, is that he has also been posting videos of his illegal activities despite denying he done them. He has been removed and banned from almost every single legit, insured club in Ireland and NI. They want nothing to do with him.
For any queries, contact the Beach Environmental Officer at Causeway Coast & Glens Council in Northern Ireland and ask them directly what they make of Flatcap.
There are many free alternatives who follow the law, who are insured, and have a genuine care for the community they operate in. Try NI 4x4 Club, North West 4x4 Club, or many of the other facebook groups around who do not charge for illegal activities.
Adam, it matters not that you joined the greenlane association, or Failte Ireland or any other group, none of them have any idea what you have been doing. You contact them, tell them you are a sustainable and responsible business and they accept your request. You do not get vetted by anyone at all. But thank you for pointing out who I am going to contact next with a dossier of video and screenshots from your group. We are sent them every single time you post, your own group is full of people who are disgusted by your activities.
