Being reported to Trading Standards.
Called Flight Guru this morning to book flights to Jakarta.
Tickets being advertised on their website at £769.00 today.
The Indian lady who took my call stated these tickets were out of date prices. I informed her your company Flight Guru are advertising the prices today. And it says to call your number??.! I have printed the info out and taken a photo of the screen. A search done tis morning.
She said my price is £900+. Which shocked me.
I asked politely for here to speak to her supervisor as what she was doing is going against trading standards.
After a minute she came back and said £900+ is my price? I asked the lady for here name and her supervisors as I would have to report this. Rose and Martin were the names given.
Trading Standards is my next email.

Alex is most unhelpful, booked tickets to India via Gulf Air, with wife and daughter travelling last night.

Alex promised he would book halal meals - never bothered!!!

He put my daughter as the lead name in the itinerary - when I requested he change this he refused!!!!

Since Sunday 23/06/2024, I have sent him WhatsApp messages daily. He opened all my messages and never replied.

Travelling can be a very stressful experience.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from these cowboys, who will not help you and make your experience a misery.

They are not genuine. The fare showing on their website is not real. Be careful friends.

I booked my flights with this company 2 months ago. This was a BIG MISTAKE. Firstly, travel consultant Rio overcharged me a great deal. Secondly, he changed my travel plan to what was most likely financially convenient for him. So he made me stay in the stopover country longer, saying that there was a planned cancellation of the flight to my final destination. Later I found out that NO such cancellation was planned and the flight went ahead as scheduled. This was very disappointing as it totally disrupted my travel plans and cost me a lot of money. Thirdly, after I had paid the 'final' amount for my flights and hotel to the flights guru, Rio still demanded more fees to be paid, making excuses such as baggage is not included etc. Overall, booking with the flights guru was a very bad experience for me. They are very unreliable, unprofessional and dishonest. Please avoid them!!!

Avoid like the plague. This company is a scam. They will confirm flights and send paperwork confirming details to then book the completely wrong flights and leave you stranded in another country. They will then ask for extortionate amounts to get you home . The manager has as much empathy as AI and all the staff wipe their hands of you as soon as you've paid.

Hold times to speak with a customer service agent are outrageously long (45 minutes today). Attempted to open a chat with an "expert" but no one was online so I had to leave a message. On another occasion. ALASKA AIR canceled my original flight and Flight Guru wanted to charge me $75 per ticket to make the changes which should have been free. I'll stay home before I book thru Flight Guru again.

I read a recent review that the prices on their website are cheaper, but when you call them they say sold out. so I tried and this what exactly happened. And I told the guy who answered the phone about the lies they are making and put down the phone. If they start with a lie, I am not sure how trustable they are

When the site says "economy seats" for international flights, it means basic economy. And not all the seats are available and they try to upsell you to economy plus.
Not worth it.

Awful!! We booked with our family and oscar his name was scammed us. So they repaid with flight discount which they have made so hard for us to us or they would say a price then it changes once paid deposit. Awful never us them !! This was flights to Jamaica with 7 people

I have used them twice now . Paul has been great . Helpful and polite no problems .I have two more flights booked with them for this year . Thanks Paul

Hi for everyone, very bad experience with flight Guru really 😡😡 wrong information, provider, flight, so expenses, and long stay without hotel accommodation I put this review many of people in Google as well the person name who can attend me the name of Sunny . 😡

Waste of my time!
I have been researching a long haul flight over several days and came across Flight Guru who offered starting prices about £50 less than anyone else.
I made contact and they hiked their price by 50%!!

When I complained they said their original price was only "starting from"
This is so unrealistic I won't bother looking with them again.

Had to dispute charges after LONG WAITS on the website for my flight to be verified.LONG WAITS on the phone provided NO HELP.They charged the insurance immediately but not the flight.SCAM!

On 29/1/24 I booked ticket to india kavya extension 1006 helped me to get a good deal on ticket price and also the customer service by kavya is excellent I would recommend flight guru to my friends in future I will be booking ticket with flight guru only I am totally satisfied by the service given by kavya

Under fictitious names such as Kevin, these are the lowest of the Indian diaspora. Once they lure you with low deposits/low-price tickets, the scammers truly start to screw the customers financially and harras as a consequence. Their M.O. becomes clearer once you go through several reviews.
Do your due diligence before you talk with these fraudsters and save your money and aggro!

The good news is they answer the phone.
The bad news is the prices are lies.
Website for fixed dates 20/10 Uk to Mumbai back 12/11 Bangkok to Uk £394 the price when phoned up £597.
On line carriers price £450.
There advise book with the carrier. Correct answer.

I book a flight from flight guru with the manager alan,to jamaica for the 5th of January to Bury my grandmother and was meant to leave on the 15th to go to miami to visit my Terminally ill mom and I should leave on the 19th of January to back to London. On the 14 I went to book in and realise my booking has change. I am not able to visit my mom and it will only be a transit through miami to London on the 19th. Alan has been very unprofessional and I have been having issue with the booking from day one at one point I called Alan so much that he was refusing to take my calls. I am struggling with ptsd and anxiety with psychotic features and also fluid on my brain, I did not have any plans to be in jamaica after the 15th so now I am broke and my health is deterioration plus I have a 3 year old child. Flight guru dont understand the detriment of what they have done to me and my family. I have use them before and had no problem and I even recommend them to a few people but after how I have been treated I dont think nobody should use this agency.

Just book 2 roundtrip flights to Europe online after 10 minutes my phone ring guy from FlightGuru calling saying my price has change.I said how come I just book for this price and guy said price go up. How the F price go up if I alredy give you all info and CC number. I told him to cancel my reservation.They are scammers.

This company Flightguru. Is a thief a shammer . They do not record voice conversations. I have no proof of the things said over the phone. If you must deal with these criminals only do it via email.
This has been going on since the 5th February 2020. Everyone I have spoken to other then Alex have left the company . Even the head of the claims department I have just been notified has left in the middle of trying to sort my claim out.
I was told whilst they was looking at my claim I didn't need to do anything as it would be sorted out for me.
Well today I was told that due to his leaving everything he said is worthless .and as I didn't pay for keeping the bookings open my account is now closed .I have just waved over £3,000 down the toilet.
So please take note never have a important conversation over the phone Email only . This is the only way you're have the proof you will need if anything goes wrong.
