No amount of money saved is worth this headache
I have been unable to reach the airline over the phone and their voicemail is full. I'm getting, at best, 1 email back per day.
During the email back and forth, I mentioned that it seemed like my back was being routed back to Casablanca, which is my vacation destination. The agent proceeded to tell me that they had my Grenadian address on file, and even confirmed it.
This morning, I received an email from a gentleman in Casablanca CMN informing me that my bag is ready for pick-up. Again, I'm 4000 miles across the Atlantic and it is physically impossible for me to do so.
So far, not a single person in this airline has even offered an apology and everyone is acting like this is the most common situation. I fly 20-30 times per year and I guarantee you, it is not.
It goes without saying that this was my last time ever flying with TAP and I will spare no amount of money in the future to avoid your company. I will probably be considering legal actions due to the massive inconvenience that this is causing me.
Air Portugal is awful
Air Portugal is awful. The employees are lazy and bad at their job. On top of that they scam you every time you leave the country charging an extra 160$ at the gate for your bags even though you already paid the bag fee. This company needs to go bankrupt so a decent airline can take its place. Air Portugal is a scam! Never use them
TAP - refusing compensation for delay
TAP, I'm really tired of your messy customer service. I got the confirmation per email that i should be compensated with 900 euro voucher for the long delay in my flight to Brasil. However, i never received the voucher and tap is claiming that I don't have the right to be compensated.
The flight delay was in 2019, the case was processed in July 2022, and i still don't have the voucher number. I already got in contact via phone, email, opened dozen complains...and nothing it took me more than 36 hours to reach my destination and the delay happened due to a technical problem (as stated by the crew on that day).
I've been patient enough waiting for 3 years. Now I am tired and need q solution.
Cancelled flight
One of my fights back home was cancelled I could see on the app on the exact day were I should travel.
On way to my destination and in transit Airport in Lisabon ,an agent from Air Portugal told me that they will find me another plane but a two days before only before I should fly back I found out actually accidentaly and after using long time on chat with TAP that Air Portugal had not found or paying for an alternative plane any way .
I had to buy another ticket and now it seems like I have to wait a long time before I can get my money back.
I think that TAP should find another plane or paying for ticket for an alternative plane instead of all this and beside I am not satisfied to know it takes maybe mounths???! before I get my money back!
02.02.2023: Me and my friend have still not received our money back regarding a cancelled flight from 19th of November 2022 !
Refund is accepted and I had to do a lot to find other flights for me and my friend and just a couple of days before back home, hours and hours of searching which destroeyd a lot regarding our travel, but Gosh! Still Waiting!!!!

Finaly and after mounths of waiting.... I recevied some money back.
Just imagine ... now... I have paid a lot of money for buying the original tickets, more money for buying extra tickets from another company when our flight was all of a sudden cancelled, had to use days of my vacation for buying another ticket .... and then mounths later...received some money back and not all my money I used for buying tickets of the cancelled flight!
When you want to travel, it is best to study how airlines records are and not thinking too much a bout savings, since yoi save a little money when buying, and end paying a lot more !
I could just go on line and watch for news a bout TAP and on Trustpilot particulary before buying tickets form this company, but did not! Please? Do NOT make the same mistake since money is hard to earn but easy to lose if you are not careful.

My family and I were delayed 9 hours coming from San Francisco to Malaga due to a TAP Air delay. I put in a compensation request 4 months ago and despite many calls there is still no resolution. This is a shame as I have flown TAP many, many times over the years.

My flights were cancelled in march 2020 and I still have not my money back. Emails are ignored. At the hotline they are not able to help (because there are pending written requests). I asked the Schlichtungsstelle for help but the airline didn‘t accept the suggestion.

Quite literally the worst booking experience of my life.
1. Vouchers from cancelled covid flights cannot be used on the website and keeps failing to take payment.
2. customer services then book the flights on your behalf but ignore vouchers and take full amount without even giving you a total price even though they are using the website booking number
3. they then claim they cannot do anything about it and no refunds or voucher exchanges.
this is after them only refunding us half the amount originally from 2020

Scammed everyone on our plane
Scammed everyone on our plane. Weighed all their personal items and carry on and charged them €120 euro for any personal bags over 2kg. There was nothing to say that personal bags had to be under 2kg. They got most people on the flight. Flown dozens of times and I’ve never had an airline do this.

TAP air portugal: really poor customer service and bad communication. Flying from Brazil to Paris, with connection in Lisbon. My flight in Lisbon was cancelled twice (16H35 then 19H35). i ended up flying at 3am the next day, so had 17H connection time.... At 1am when i came back to the aiport, there was no TAP staff to help travellers check in their bag. I had a business class ticket, but there was no one there either. I filed a complaint and so far no response, no excuse, nothing. Really poor customer service and bad communication.
Prepare to be inconvenienced by this airline
Most definitely the worst airline I have ever dealt with. My first flight with them was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight and lose an entire day of my holiday. My connecting flight on my return was cancelled and I was stranded in Lisbon airport (horribly sick may I add) for 10 HOURS.
Infuriated by the situation I complained and waited months for a response - I have never known customer service so bad. When I finally got a reply I was reimbursed but only in vouchers (as if I wanted to fly with them again!) I booked new flights to NYC via Lisbon with the vouchers hoping for a better experience only to have both of my flights to and from Lisbon cancelled and changed resulting in a 9 hour layover there and an 11 hour back!
Contacting their customer service was a complete waste of time (again!) - they were unable to do anything about my flights and I had no compensation offered despite the inconvenience it’s caused. I’m looking forward to returning from my trip and never having to think about this airline again. I just hope that this helps others to save hours of frustration, tears and loss of sleep!

TAP Air Portugal Cancels flights, and does not provide any support, leaving you stranded with no alternatives of re-routing or refund.
They cancel 1 leg of your connecting flight and keep the other flights, meaning you will be a no-show or miss your second flight.
They have no support desk, apparently no support people, do not call their clients just cancel with no explanation and tell you not to go to the airport.
DO NOT FLY THROUGH LISBON on any connecting flight to the US or Europe if you care about getting to your destination for the same price and in the same week as you originally booked.

No help, no support number, no assistance, no re-routing, nothing. Just a message, "your flight AGP-Lisbon is cancelled don't go to the airport". Oh but that was the first leg of a transatlantic 4 flight trip! So what do I do???

Comms around data breach poor and disappointing
My flying experience with them was ok, aside from ground staff being unprepared on the latest covid restrictions and asking for documents that weren't needed. What I find shocking is the way they handled their data breach. They did not reach out to customers directly and promptly but they only had a communication on their website. There was no way for you to find out unless you went on their website to book again.

I am absolutely disgusted by this airline,I have just had the worst week of my life,I flew from Malaga to lisbon and Tap air took my bags off the plane and left them at Malaga airport,I rang a millions times and emailed I even went to their customer service desk in lisbon & I got your run around,after 5 days I was ready to loose my mind,still no suitcases had been found with no communication from TAP airlines,we tracked our bags with an AirTag and we could see they left our bags sitting in Malaga airport for 5 days,so my partner decided to fly to Malaga to get our bags back,we spent a fortune on clothes toiletries hotels food,the mental torture of having no personal belongings for 5 days in lisbon was torture,I will take this airline to court not just for myself and partner but for all the peoples holidays they destroyed
